On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

The construction was concentrated on the columns which would be the appropriate place to set charges for demo. Security seem extraordinarily tight on those construction areas.

Having watched and read all of the testimony and evidence posted by Richard Gage over the past decade, I urge the Congress to create an independent commission to fully investigate the collapse of the three World Trade Center buildings, and not to arbitrarily rule out any possible scenario or conspiracy that could have led to the patently false official NIST report. Testimony by the first-responders who observed and heard what they have reported were explosions, melting steel, and chemical traces which are not consistent with the theory that airplanes caused the fires and collapse of WTC I and II; and the full unedited free-fall photographic evidence of the collapse of WTC 7 should be included in their study. If Congress does not agree to this, then a public subscription for an independent analysis by distinguished experts from universities abroad should be undertaken.

Given an even basic understanding of high school physics, it's painfully obvious that high rises do not suddenly pulverise mid-air; fire-protected structural steel will not melt when exposed briefly to a pool of burning jet fuel; and virtually undamaged office buildings built to code simply cannot collapse symmetrically at near-free fall speed due to a few limited fires. Clearly, the 9/11 tragedy was not a physics-defying Hollywood blockbuster, despite what the official narrative desperately would like us to believe. It was a real-world event, with real people perishing, and with untold suffering and damage as a direct consequence. We owe it to the victims of that fateful day to expose the nonsensical reasoning (or lack of reasoning) that makes up the bulk of the NIST 'investigation' -- we would merely have to let the evidence and the laws of nature speak for themselves, that's all.

Jesse was educated in the broad discipline of Architectural Engineering, focusing specifically on Structural Design and Analysis. He was trained and has a wide variety of experience in the design of steel and concrete structures, as well as wood, masonry, and aluminum. Through my research, I have found a few specific areas of the NIST reports which in my estimation, do not seem to hold up to professional scrutiny. First and foremost being the anomalous acceleration of the collapse of WTC 7. I have not found evidence of this being adequately explored and investigated, as would be required for any other engineering analysis of such a collapse. Also, I have questions about the methodology used to determine the extent of fire insulation damage that was incident upon the towers due to the force of impact and subsequent fuel explosions. The NIST report seems to say that the assumed damage was not based on tests of similar insulation undergoing similar conditions, but rather is based on several varying degrees of possible damage being assumed in the computer analysis; mild, medium, and severe. After running the simulations and finding that the severe model is the only one that led to global collapse, they therefore concluded that the fire insulation damage was severe. It seems to me a classic case of letting your conclusion guide your evidence. Admittedly, I have not yet read all of NIST's supporting documentation (which might better explain this area of concern), however if such backup data exists to support their assumptions, it should have been included (or at least referenced) in the final report. The way I see it is that at best, it's some very shoddy technical writing; at worst, it's dishonest.

Building 7 collapsed at free-fall acceleration. It was far from the North and South Towers so it should have remained structurally sound. We need to explore why it fell. We need to explore why NORAD was unable to intercept any of the four airplanes. We need to explore the evidence that thermite was found in the WTC dust. 911 was the reason for going to war. We are still at war because of 911 so we need to know the truth.

It is obvious that they (building 1,2 and 7) has been blown up. The free fall acceleration and symmetrical collapse is impossible to get only using fires and flying debris. Typically, when trying to scientifically investigate the unknown cause of an event... a hypothesis is formed and tested. If it is shown that the hypothesis cannot be disproved it can be considered a possible theory. Some theories are however, better than others. Theories are often scrutinized over and compared against one another. I feel that the evidence that has been presented to me regarding the collapse of building 7 opens the possibility of better theory than the one that is currently accepted. It is my opinion that a re-evaluation of the destruction of the world trade center buildings is needed.

I had a college professor in structures who once said, and I paraphrase, Structures don't collapse from the mistakes that engineers design for....there are enough factors of safety to compensate for that...they collapse from what engineers completely miss designing for. - - - - When the towers collapsed, I was shocked and surprised, but attributed the collapse to the idea that...well...the engineers wouldn't have taken into account a large plane hitting them. Years later I discovered that they were indeed designed for a 707 hitting them. That got me thinking! - - Having spent many agonizing hours designing the structure for a church, I felt certain that the engineers of the towers would have overdesigned their structure to, if nothing else, still be standing until the last little old lady in a wheel chair escaped, unharmed. - - - - Call it gut feeling, with some practical engineering experience, but the idea of the tower collapses and especially the building 7 collapse being caused mainly by fires are suspect. The true cause or causes of these total failures certainly need to be re-investigated.

I observed the entire event and both collapses from my office window of 110 William Street facing West. What I saw bears no resemblance to what is portrayed as the mode of failure. When the top of the South Tower fell away to the East and down, I fully expected to see the jagged remains of the floors beneath still standing. I was taken aback when the smoke cleared and learned that the entire building had collapsed. It did not make any sense to me then and still makes no sense now.

The appearance of controlled demolition by use of explosives is more than overwhelming when viewing the collapse of the Twin Towers. The evidence of the vertical cuts on the remaing standing columns is very powerful and conclusive. I have researched jet that crashed at Skranston,PA. and find there are many inconsistencies with the crash scene as compaared to other similar jet crash scenes, the lack of black box data only being one of many. I have also researched the crash data at the pentagon site and found there many holes in the official explanation of this crash as well. There are far too many unanswered questions and omission of facts in the official reports for them to have any credibility.

I am a seasoned engineering professional and a newly certified teacher in mathematics for the state of Texas. The most blatant evidence that virtually anyone can understand with the help of a high school science background or reasonable common sense and intelligence is the fact that a modern steel-framed building cannot collapse at free-fall speed on its original footprint without the help of high explosives. The collapse of Building 7 especially defies any other remotely plausible explanation. An unprecedented engineering failure, a symmetric and orderly collapse, and a debris field totally consistent with a controlled demolition effecting three separate structures on the same afternoon. The odds of this happening in a fashion consistent with our official government-endorsed conspiracy theory defy my imagination!

The official analysis of the WTC building collapses does not account for observed data regarding the way the buildings came down. In addition, the collapse of building 7 is not sufficiently explained. It is my opinion that the simple collapse of steel columns supporting the upper portion of the two buildings (purportedly due to weakening by fire) and the subsequent fall of the upper section of each building would not generate the massive, immediate expulsion of debris in all directions from the buildings, and at the rate and distance from the buildings as was observed and recorded.

The amount of dust surrounding the buildings and as they collapsed, is evidence to me just in viewing this to prove there is no pancake theory, otherwise they would have been stacked up one on top of each other, or the wreckage would have been a huge pile of steel and broken concrete (not dust). Also, one of the towers was leaning over at quite an angle just as it started to collapse, and this leaning never continued. If it was a conventional building collapse, it would have fallen over, but it never made it to the ground without getting destroyed. Oh, and the fact that all these buildings fell at free-fall speed. Clearly controlled demolition. Building 7 is a clear example of controlled demolition, with large bangs and other claims by officials that the building was going to come down.

Because I consider the collapse of the three high rises at near free-fall speeds to be evidence of something else having gone on behind the scenes that day, most likely controlled demolition, even otherwise intelligent progressives consider me a tinfoil hatter now, most probably because of the recent National Geographic special. This is sad, but I believe that in time the psychological need to believe in the official theory will diminish, and the truth will be widely acknowledged. The most compelling evidence was broadcast worldwide repeatedly, ad nauseum. It will eventually be undeniable.

Within 10 minutes of witnessing the collapses via public television, it was obvious to me that these 3 (three) collapses were showing definitive characteristics of precise detonation demolition. I don't believe the myths about the collapse of the three buildings. I believe it was a controlled demolition. Similarly, I don't believe that a passenger plane hit the Pentagon. I believe it was a cruise missile. I also question the rationale for a complete air defense stand down during the event.

The planes did not cause the collapse of the buildings; explosives did. The WTC buildings collapsed in a way very similar to a building rigged for controlled demolition. The official story did not adequately explain the explosions that many witnessed and heard at ground zero; the government even tried to deny it. There are just too many coincidences of events leading up to 9/11, starting with planes not intercepted to military personnel playing war games. It's not hard to see that those responsible are amongst those who benefited the most from this tragedy, including but not limited to big oil and private reconstruction contractors.

ONE steel building collapsing concentrically...very unlikely. TWO falling on their own footprint...ridiculous! THREE, on the same day in the same place? IMPOSSIBLE. For the first time in history 3 steel skeleton structures collapse for, supposedly due to some fires. But the fires are so small that they are only visible here & there. If the fires were so hot, the glass would have melted/shattered long before the steel making the so-called inferno clearly visible at every opening all around the buildings. The damage due to the planes was eccentric, so why was the collapse concentric? How did 3 steel buildings, allegedly in a condition of unstable static equilibrium, collapse in stable dynamic equilibrium? IMPOSSIBLE. I put aside all the ways in which it might have been done, Modern explosives placed at critical points would have done it. But put that all aside: The fact is that they were brought down; the physics & structural principles are incontrovertible. The method & reasons etc can be nutted out later. The 'squibs' which are officially claimed to be dust/smoke exhausting have too high a velocity for pumping exhaust...they emit at the velocity of explosive shock waves, equally all the way around. Just one other structural observation: At the Pentagon one evidence was supposed to be the bent over light-poles...so neatly leaning; from a 500mph aircraft impact?! Those light-poles would have been folded at the impact point, ripped out and left in a mangled mess some hundreds of metres away! So they were either toppled by small charges, or pulled over by ropes tied to a truck (the previous evening?). There is more structural observations I could make, but the above have not been stressed enough on your site, hence my comments. Please update your site to include/emphasize the above observations. The towers were designed to be hit by fully loaded jets. Would the designers be so negligent as to forget that those jets would be loaded out with fuel? Why have other steel skyscrapers burned, some over a dozen stories for hours and not collapsed? Why did the towers fall at free-fall speed? Why were the steel remains of the columns at bedrock melted?

Too many facts don't add up, especially the collapse of WTC #7 and all evidence pointing to a controlled demolition. An independent technical investigation is needed to corroborate/disprove the official version of events and provide a sound engineering explanation that obeys the fundamental laws of physics.

WTC Building 7 fell uniformly as if each level of the building had collapsed in succession, strongly suggesting that explosives were planted in the building. If explosives were planted in WTC 7, then the twin towers could have also been rigged with explosives. The failure of the twin towers appeared to be the result of a more complex explosive sequencing. The official pancake theory of collapse does not legitimately explain why the portion of each tower located above the point of impact of the airliner was not slowed by the mass of the building below.

I am in agreement with the forensic analysis of Dr. Steven Jones regarding the chemistry and topology of the pulverized concrete residue deposited on the buildings and streets of NYC. Forceful air solidification of molten metals and alloys is a common method for producing spheroidal particles for microelectronic metallic pastes. Steel would behave the same way when exposed to the high aluminum/iron oxide exothermic reaction temperature and forceful expulsion.

I was always wondering about how they could collapse under the circumstances... since, while growing up, we used what was known as primus which is a kerosene burning appliance.. (kerosene is the major component of jet fuel). While cooking using kerosene in the most efficient manner (hottest possible flames), the appliance was made of very thin steel and our vessels were also very thin. They did not melt or distort ever, even when used for hours. When I saw the collapse of Bldg. 7 (several years later) that clinched it for me.
