On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I don't believe it is possible for the buildings to fall the way they did from the bottom by being hit by planes at the top. The plane would have only damaged the top floors, the building fell as a result of a second and immediate occurrence. My experience shows this was a demolition.

My designs are of dynamic (moving) mechanisms meant to work in the real world and, as such, must follow the laws of the physics of moving bodies. My work involves fabrication of mechanisms and other parts often made by heating and gas welding mild steel and 4130 (chrom-moly) steel.
The collapse of any of the three WTC towers that fell on 9/11/2001 in NYC could not have happened as quickly as they did or as neatly as they did, straight down into their own footprint if gravity provided the only collapse energy. I have been an electrical engineer for over 30 years. I have worked with computer models of electronics including the modeling of semiconductor devices so I am aware of how dependent the accuracy of the model is to not just the equations but the data provided.
It seems clear that even a short 2 seconds of free fall constitutes a basis to demand a real investigation, not to mention all of the other facts and observations. And seeing the continued attempt by government and media to conceal the facts speaks even more loudly. This website is the primary one I point people to examine the issues. I feel there are other elements of 9/11 that have equal need of investigation, but the demolition collapse thesis is the one most likely to be compelling to most people.

Watching the towers collapse on tv, it seemed impossible that a building could fall like that randomly. After watching loose change and the AE911 video, I know that it probably is impossible. It is clear that technically the official explanations for the 9/11 disaster are completely floored. After watching the precision with which the towers collapsed, I was then, and remain today, of the opinion that it was a controlled demo job. I did calculations at the time estimating that the rubble pile was much too small...material had to disappear/ vaporize in order for the pile to be as small as it was. Conservatively, the pile of rubble would have to have been about 30 stories deep (including accounting for the 7 stories below grade being packed tight with debris, no air spaces!); a 'pyramid' with a base of 600 ft square. Anyone who has ever witnessed a controlled demolition would have immediately recognized its 'signature in this collapse. Not likely to cut off all of the columns on only one side of the building and still have it come down vertically, virtually within its own footprint, like it did.

I have seen on TV commercial buildings collapse under controlled demolition prior to 911. I have been told that no certified US demolition companies will comment officially on 911. I personally saw and heard in real time 2 firemen (one dirty and exhausted, seated outside on a low brick garden wall) and another just reporting for action - nice and clean. Both were looking at Building 7 in the near background (1 block?) away and to the question for the exhausted one by the fresh one regarding its status the exhausted one looked at his watch and said as clearly as I can remember, Its going down about 4:30! I didn't think too much about it at the time but now I think about it a lot whenever 911 comes up!

I do not believe that the towers and WTC 7 could have collapsed in such a uniform manner, given the temperatures at which the jet fuel burned and the duration of time that had elapsed before they collapsed. Also, the presence of thermite in samples of building materials has not been fully investigated and resolved.

Understand basements of WTC-1, WTC-2, and WTC-7 all contained pools of molten steel for weeks after 9/11. What created the molten steel? What possible force could instantaneously pulverize literally all of the concrete and gypsum in WTC-1 and WTC-2 as they BEGAN their collapse? None of the 3 buildings of the WTC collapsed due to fire. This would be completely inconsistent with the way they collapsed, with the structural design of the buildings or the effects of other, really large fires in buildings One of the biggest crimes in the history of the USA is still waiting for a criminal investigation worth its name. We don't know yet who perpetrated it and how it was done. Osama bin Laden is not sought by the FBI for the attack on the WTC by Al Qaeda. Al Qaeda is an organization, created or invented by the USA's judiciary in order to be able to incriminate Osama bin Laden for the attacks on US embassies in Africa (BBC, The Power of Nightmares). Osama bin Laden and the troops in Afghanistan later labeled as Al Qaeda were USA assets in the fight against the Soviet Union.

It's not a question about truth because it is so obvious for anybody making use of his brain - it's a question of how to gain a victory over ignorance and mainstream manipulation. Too many questions remain about the attacks of 9/11. Heat: My experience with temperature measurement and basic knowledge as an engineer taught me that to structurally weaken steel you need very high temperatures. These cannot be produced by burning jet fuel. Collapse: The collapse of all three buildings on 9/11, Twin Towers and WTC7, are unexpected in their behaviour. There is no hinging or falling-over, the collapses were unbelievably fast and complete. Explosions: People have reported explosions prior to the planes hitting the buildings. During the collapse there are indications on film that explosions may have taken place. Some of the dust contains traces of what is found after the use of nano-thermite. Reasoning from the other side, all of what happened as part of the 9/11 event can technically be organized more easily by elements of the US government. Motif could be found in the potential of financial gain and increase of power. It would be in the interest of a benign government to disprove this theory. Unfortunately, too many questions remain, too many to believe that the official story is correct. That alone is reason to demand an impartial investigation.

I am extremely confused that each of the three WTC buildings all collapsed in a controlled uniform manner reflecting the laws of physics pertaining to natural gravitational free fall with no resistance at all. This contradicts my scientific understanding of the nature of a natural structural collapse against internal (central beam box structure) resistance, resulting in a non-uniform and non uniform gravitational speed collapse. I just don't believe this was a natural occurrence and I cant understand it?

Truth, ethics and professionalism are completely lacking in the official aftermath and investigations surrounding the 9/11 disasters. It appears we went to war predicated on false information. The manner in which the World Trade Center buildings 1, 2 and 7 were brought down, at free fall velocity and disintegrating into a pyroclastic cloud of dust and ash, suggests a contrived and controlled demolition from within. Building 7 is clearly seen collapsing from the bottom directly into its own footprint, in a typical controlled demolition style, a fact completely ignored in the official investigations. Where is the proper investigation and who really benefited from this? It is time to conduct a proper investigation to uncover the truths behind 9/11.

About the Twin Towers : no minor (and weaker) part of a structure is able to destroy the rest of it, whatever the speed with which they encounter. And WTC7 : among other strange hypothesis, to assign the fire protection class 1-C instead of 1-B is quite a help in getting 'overheated' floor beams.
