PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I've been aware that the official account of 9/11 was false since before AE 9/11 Truth was founded, but for professional reasons I was unable to sign until now. My guess is that for every AE that signs there are at least ten that don't for the same reason as me. I have the utmost admiration and respect for Richard Gage and everyone engaged in this effort. The evidence of controlled demolition for all three World Trade Center towers is overwhelming. In contrast, the official explanation relies on assertions but no evidence. The failure of the United States to investigate 9/11, the crime of the century, has placed a stain of corruption on our nation. Those public officials who continue to block a legitimate investigation of the events of 9/11 are complicit in the crime. Only the truth can set us free and restore integrity to our nation and government.

I began having doubts about the official explanations for the collapse of the WTC towers soon after the explanations surfaced. The gnawing question that lingers in my mind is: how did the structures collapse in near-symmetrical fashion when the apparent precipitating causes were asymmetrical loading? The collapses defy common logic from an elementary structural engineering perspective. If you accept the argument that the fire protection covering was damaged to such an extent that structural members in the vicinity of the aircraft impacts were exposed to abnormally high temperatures, and if you accept the argument that the temperatures were high enough to weaken the structural framing, that still does not explain the relatively concentric nature of the failures.Neither of the official precipitating sources for the collapses, namely the burning aircraft, were centered within the floor plan of either tower; both aircraft were off-center when they finally came to rest within the respective buildings. This means that, given the foregoing assumptions, heating and weakening of the structural framing would have been constrained to the immediate vicinity of the burning aircraft. Heat transmission (diffusion) through the steel members would have been irregular owing to differing sizes of the individual members; the temperature in the members would have dropped off precipitously the further away the steel was from the flames'''just as the handle on a frying pan doesn''t get hot at the same rate as the pan on the burner of the stove. These factors would have resulted in the structural framing furthest from the flames remaining intact and possessing its full structural integrity, i.e., strength and stiffness.Structural steel is highly ductile; when subjected to compression and bending it buckles and bends long before reaching its tensile or shear capacity. Under the given assumptions, if the structure in the vicinity of either burning aircraft started to weaken, the superstructure above would begin to lean in the direction of the burning side. The opposite, intact, side of the building would resist toppling until the ultimate capacity of the structure was reached, at which point, a weak-link failure would undoubtedly occur. Nevertheless, the ultimate failure mode would have been a toppling of the upper floors to one side, much like the topping of a tall redwood tree, not a concentric, vertical collapse.For this reason alone, I rejected the official explanation for the collapse of the WTC towers out of hand. Subsequent evidence supporting controlled, explosive demolition of the two buildings is more in keeping with the observed collapse modalities and only serves to validate my initial misgivings as to the causes for the structural failures.

The evidence collected thus far is conclusive in my mind that the towers, which were designed to withstand the impact of a jetliner, did not fail from the impact of the airplanes or the subsequent fire.

As an Fire Alarm Professional employed by ADT I frequently visited their HQ at the WTC in the mid 1980s. I witnessed, first hand, the lack of horizontal fire suppression (vertical risers were installed) and the sub standard building life safety conditions that were allowed by the NYS Port Authority. These defficiencies may not have contributed the collapse but might have saved many lives had they been installed. There are many unanswered questions that need to be researched and reported. I completly support the re-opening of a full investigation. After working with the Federal Government for many years, the TRUTH will only come from an independant study.

I lived in NJ at the time and believed the spin until I started to see the many coincidences. I have been a nurse for 30 years and my father is a retired engineer. I may not have knowledge of architecture and engineering however I do with health care and I feel very strongly the remains of the 911 victims are not consistent with the story we have been told. The remains of the victims are not consistent with death by descent (falling), death by burning, or death by being sandwiched between layers of a collapsed building. The remains of the 911 victims are more consistent with death by infliction of explosives.
We have been lied to. The truth of who, how, and why the 'attack' and 'demolition' of the World Trade Center is very far from the information that was given to the American people in the midst of our shock of this horrific event. The people starting from the highest level down should be exposed and held accountable. The victims and their families at the very least deserve this to be exposed. The ones behind this evil event and their greedy reasons for their murder and mayhem of the beloved people that endured horror within the WTC building and beyond should be brought to justice.

While it was happening, I think we we're all overwhelmed with emotion. I know I was. I am the type of person that feels what others feels almost at a constant. Which is why war makes me nauseous.I felt compelled to help those people. But was a single Mom and my boys were young then. I walked my infant to his brothers school to get him, because I didn't know what was going on. It was one of if not the most horrorfying things ever. After reviewing the footage in later times, it is so obvious they were demolished and I'm not an engineer nor an architect. I don't have words for the blaitent sickness, the disregard for life, the pain and suffering, I just don't.

I was 17 and in a keyboarding class in my high school in a small town in New Mexico when I witnessed the Twin Towers collapse to the ground on live tv. No work was accomplished that day in my school. Even though we were almost 2000 miles away, it was real, it was raw, and it was unimaginably horrifying. I was too young to understand or follow the investigation and results that came immediately afterward. I graduated and went to college in Albuquerque. I received bachelor's degrees in Psychology and Nursing. I married, had a child, and decided staying home to raise my child was more important than working, currently. I've always been interested in international affairs and politics, as well as social, psychological, and theological issues, so I try to stay abreast of what is going on in our nation and around the world. Looking into the current unrest in our nation and disillusionment with our news sources led me to stumble across alternate viewpoints on what happened on Sept 11, 2001. Looking into these views, I'm astounded at the mountain of ignored evidence, unanswered questions and contradictory answers in the official narrative. What really happened that day?
I don't have much experience with architecture, building materials or controlled demolition, but I do have experience with children's building blocks made out of wood. My child's blocks have suffered many, many topplings, but they have never, not once, been completely destroyed by self-imploding or exploding and free-falling to the ground. Does it make sense that they ever would? How can steel do so? When my child's blocks topple over, she can pick them up and build again. The pieces might be nicked all over, but they are still blocks. Where did the parts of the Twin Towers go if they came down simply by gravity? Where were the desks? Where were the computers? Where were the bodies? How did it all just vaporize with no trace except billowing clouds of dust? How come WTC1, WTC2, and WTC7 are the only steel reinforced concrete skyscrapers to have completely collapsed due to 'fire?' Doesn't the fact that they are built that way preclude that possibility? And yet we've been asked to believe in the exception three times and all on the same day.

I'm not an architect or engineer but have a BA in Women's Health Education. I have a good understanding of scientific hypothesis and believe in following evidence.
There was a clear disregard of evidence in the final reports issued on the 3 WTC buildings that collapsed in a manner which it appeared to be exactly like a controlled demolition. In addition there was a a total disregard for all the eye witness accounts of explosions occurring all the way around the buildings. I was not in NYC during 9/11 but there is ample footage to review that clearly shows explosions and demonstrates that these 3 buildings did not fall without the aid of explosives.

To me 9/11 was clearly an inside job, with evidence of demolition of the trade center with free fall acceleration. This is most evident for demolition causing the collapse is the fall of WTC 7. There are hundreds of other false statements in the official story for 9/11 presented in 9/11 commission report.

I had a research background in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics before going into Medical school, after which I practiced as a family physician in Ontario for 26 years. My father was a Civil Engineer who worked on building tunnels in California as well as the construction of the James Bay Hydro-electric project in Northern Quebec. He was also the Project Manager for the Churchill Falls Hydro-electric project in Labrador. He later worked for Atomic Energy of Canada Ltd. in the construction of nuclear power plants in Korea, Romania and Argentina. As a result of this childhood/early adulthood exposure to major construction projects involving large concrete structures, I realized that the collapse of the WTCs and WTC 7 were impossible without explosive controlled demolition occurring.
The collapse of the WTC buildings, especially WTC7 was impossible from any scientific engineering standard without the use of controlled demolition explosives. Therefore the narrative put forth by the government authorities as to what happened on 9/11 is inaccurate and misleading. An investigation should be re-opened immediately into the events that transpired to bring down these buildings.

I studied 1.5 years of Mechanical Engineering at the collegiate level. I find science, engineering, and critical thinking to be very important to myself and those around me.
The hard evidence poses a lot of questions regarding the destruction of the World Trade Center buildings. The official explanation pretty clearly defies the fundamental laws of physics, and any type of experimentation clearly indicates the way the towers fell is only consistent a controlled demolition. The presence of explosive type residue consistent with thermite is a major red flag, and the fact that the official investigation never even looked for anything related to explosions at ground zero to me is extremely suspicious.
