On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

The following questions need to be addressed and answered, without the use of explosives, for the official story about 9/11 (as described in the 9/11 Commission Report, the FEMA report, and the NIST report) to be true. 1. The first question deals with the total collapse of World Trade Center Building 7. This 47-story skyscraper was not hit by an aircraft and would have been the tallest building in 33 of our states. Yet, it collapsed into a tidy rubble pile in 6.5 seconds in the exact manner of a controlled demolition at 5:20 PM on September 11, 2001. Please describe or explain a non-explosive scenario for the total collapse of this building that is in agreement with all the evidence known to date. 2. The second question deals with the Twin Towers (World Trade Center Buildings 1 and 2) and the 90,000 tons of metal decking, concrete floors, drywall, office furniture, and missing bodies that were pulverized in mid-air during the total collapse of these buildings. Please describe or explain a non-explosive scenario for the complete pulverization of all of these materials into dust in 10-13 seconds. 3. The third question deals with the free-fall speed of the collapse of all three buildings. Please describe a non-explosive scenario that explains the symmetrical collapse of each of these buildings straight down'through the path of greatest resistance'at an acceleration that is indistinguishable from free-fall acceleration in a vacuum. 4. The fourth question deals with the molten metal that was observed below Ground Zero by many people after the buildings collapsed. Please describe a non-explosive scenario that explains how Ground Zero remained an inferno and how molten metal remained fluid for a least six weeks after the collapse. 5. The fifth question deals with the steel framework in most modern skyscrapers including the Twin Towers and Building 7. This metal framework conducts heat rapidly, distributing it throughout the entire structure, which explains why no steel-framed skyscraper had ever collapsed due to fire prior to 9/11. Please therefore describe or explain how the massive framework of structural steel in the World Trade Center (which had a melting point of 2750 degrees Fahrenheit) could have been fatally weakened by localized jet-fuel fires (which reach a maximum temperature of 1800 degrees Fahrenheit) without the aid of explosives.

Since graduating college in 1982, I have worked in the structural engineering field. In 2000, I started my own consulting business as a structural engineer. I have experience with wood, concrete, and steel design as well as some forensic experience investigating collapses of structures. I also have experience as a paid on call fire/rescue worker.
I've done extensive research online, and of videos, and have concluded that at the very least, building #7 was 100% a controlled demolition. Although there are literally hundreds of discrepancies, and unexplained things surrounding 9/11, I consider the collapse of building #7, and the fact that Controlled Demolition (the Company) was hired for site clean-up to be an unexplainable coincidence. The fact that we spent much less than the investigation of Flight 800 is also questionable. The destruction of the crime scene evidence is inexcusable. I did not witness any raging infernos that the media claims existed on 9/11.

I believe that everything has a scientific explanation, and anything that defies a scientific explanation is either bad science or something that is not yet conventional science. In other words, if science can't explain it, either the effect is something that exceeds current methods of scientific measure or your data is bad and/or your assumptions are incorrect.
Seeing that the collapse of all three WTC structures can be explained with classical chemistry and Newtonian physics, any evidence of molten steel would indicate that a form of combustion much hotter than the burning of jet fuel caused the failure of the steel structure. When approaching maximum oxidation efficiency, such as in the inside of a jet engine, jet fuel will burn at close to 1500 'C, however, fuel burning under normal atmospheric conditions, even with significant updraft, could burn no hotter than 1000-1100 'C. The melting point of high carbon steel is about 1350' C, depending on the specific alloy. Even with prolonged exposure to the the heat of that burn could cause steel to weaken enough for it to bend and collapse under its own weight, it would not produce 'rivers of molten steel'. That sounds more like something that would have been exposed to a much hotter flame for a short duration, such as thermite. A rapid burn would also better explain the collapse that resembles that of a demolition. It stands to reason that if the twin towers failed due to steel failure due to heat, it would have fallen at an angle as it would seem highly unlikely that the entire structure at the burn floor would fail simultaneously. What is harder to explain is the notion that the collapse of the twin towers not only caused the fire at 7 WTC, but that it was enough of a fire for the building to collapse as though it were demolished as well. Finally, there is the cold fact that none of the gold which was in the reserve at 7 WTC was recovered. Gold doesn't disappear regardless of whether it was melted or not. Put simply, there are just too many 'strange' facts in this incident for the standing explanation to be acceptable by any person of science, regardless of discipline. The fact that the report was rushed and debris was removed from the site with what can only be described as haste, one has to think there is more to the story. A lot more.

Since about a week after the 9/11 bombing, I have thought that it was an inside job, by our own government. You might ask, why would our government want to do such a thing? My theory is that they knew we would be entering a protracted period of war in the Middle East to maintain control of world oil. The American public was very much against going to war, ever since Vietnam. The 9/11 bombing did, to a great extent, ignite war fever in this country, especially since they have conducted the war(s) without reviving the draft.

Pancaking would take much longer to collapse WTC1&2 and the rubble pile would be much higher. The basements had to be cleared in order to take the volume of the material. WTC7 did not pancake, as seen from the footage this was controlled demolition as confirmed by the landlord.

Like Richard Gage and the ae911truth organization, I accepted the official story until April 2008, when I read a paper written by Steven Jones, BYU physics professor. The towers and building #7 collapsed at near-freefall velocity, consistent with a controlled demolition. The NIST report is inaccurate, if not entirely bogus. The collapse of the trade towers should be re-investigated as a joint scientific (like the Challenger space shuttle disaster) and criminal (a team of independent forensic scientists) investigation.

I have been working as an electrical engineer for over 5 years. I am deeply interested in studying the events of 9-11, arguably one of the most pivotal events in modern human history.
I never questioned the official explanation of events of 9-11 until the winter of 2006 when I saw a brief video on youtube of WTC 7 collapsing. At the time I never even knew there was a 3rd building collapse. Even though it's difficult not think of the political implications, I try to focus purely on the physics and science of the WTC 1, 2 and 7 collapses. After reviewing the videos and witness testimony of the building collapses I have very little doubt that all three buildings were brought down in a controlled manner.

Having seen several videos over the years about 911, I thought there was sufficient doubt thrown on the official explanation to warrant further investigation. The way the towers fell (especially building 7), the speed of collapse, the claim that the fires were hot enough to melt steel, all seemed suspicious to me. Having just read David Ray Griffin's book on the collapse of world trade center building 7, I am convinced that the whole scenario needs to be revisited and scientifically investigated by a non-politicized panel of experts in all the applicable fields: structural engineering, explosives, physics, chemistry, etc.

In my view, the vertical collapse of the Twin Towers core structures could only take place because the structures' pillars and the corner pillars in one or more of the lower floors all at once were cut by explosive charges, thereby entering the entire structures above into a free fall, gaining sufficient downward momentum to make the structures below crumble. However, I do find it hard to explain how the core steel-frame structures could disintegrate and why the disintegration happened in the same way in the two towers. To me it seems likely that in an uncontrolled collapse one or both towers would have capsized with even more catastrophic consequences. As regards WTC7, it seems obvious to me that the sudden collapse was controlled, although the videos that I've seen do not show explosions in the lower part of the building. I have not read the official reports explaining the vertical collapse of the three buildings. However, if the civil engineering community cannot deliver a proper peer-reviewed explanation of these collapses, it has a serious professional problem. Explanations of major structural failures has always been essential for progress in the design of safe structures and in the education of civil engineers. Future textbooks on the structural design of steel-frame high-rises must contain factually consistent explanations of the collaps of WTC towers - otherwise we must admit that we do not know the essential properties of such constructions when exposed to impacts and fire. Which is clearly unacceptabel for the professional community.

There are many well known questions to be answered: the speed of collapse, building 7 (and what it contained), then planes and their flight recorders, insider trading and their sources of information, and on and on. The most disturbing part is the handling of the material after the event. It should have been made publicly available for study by engineers and universities or anyone interested in researching and possibly preventing a similar disaster, but it was quickly disassembled and kept out of public view. I wonder if any of the material could still be traced into China.

The scientific method has never proven in any capacity that skyscrapers can completely implode, let alone efficiently and symmetrically, from external impacts or fire. According to official video coverage, it is not even clear what struck the first two towers (esp. by watching in slow motion), and WTC7 experienced no related impact whatsoever, aircraft or otherwise. Evidence that all three buildings were demolished professionally was observed by several eyewitness reports stating the presence of multiple explosions and confirmed through forensic analysis, specifically research by Dr. Steven E. Jones of BYU (whom to this date is the only individual I am aware of who performed ANY forensic analysis on the building debris). Further, Larry Silverstein's public pull it statement regarding WTC7 was particularly incriminating and obvious, his profit of $500M resulting from his prescient insurance policy on the building notwithstanding.

Even though Debunking 911.com says there was a hole in the south side of building 7, that conspiracy theorists did not take into account, it does not mean the building falls neatly into its own footprint. If there is a hole on one side of a building, the building will tend to collapse toward the weakest point, toppling the building over or collapsing in some sort of non-symmetrical manner. Videos from building 7 show the building, at the same time from all 4 corners, collapsing straight down into its own footprint, not damaging anything else around it. How does this happen if there wasn't some other element helping with the collapse?

Obviously impossible according to official story. All buildings of that size are designed with safety factors against exactly such an occurrence. The odds against both primary buildings and WTC7 collapsing due solely to aircraft impacts without planned demolition are absurd. Clearly controlled demolition was used to assist in the destruction of these symbolically significant structures.

I have a BSEET from DeVry in Atlanta, Decatur campus, June 1986. While my field is Electronics, I have long been an admirer of architectural sciences and science in general. After seeing the horror of the 9/11/2001 catastrophe, I knew my gov't. would be using this unfortunate event to further their endless global war agenda by sucker-punching the American people, as they have historically, regardless of who was truly responsible.
I recalled some of the nightmares I had in the immediate weeks and months following of how surrealistically the twin towers seemed to simultaneously explode and disintegrate as if they were not really made of modern steel and steel-reinforced concrete and multiple-redundant load bearing design to withstand hurricane-strength winds and earthquakes. As a former seasonal resident of New York City in the early 90's, it would often give me and other New Yorkers no small amount of anxiety to be at the WTC, if only to change trains while commuting from the Newark PATH trains to the A & C subway lines, after the '93 attempt to bring them down. It's as if we collectively knew this wouldn't be the last attempt. I'll never forget my sister calling me in a panic just the minute before the second tower was hit to make sure I wasn't in NY after her husband, who was a concert tour bus driver had just checked out of the Marriott WTC-3 hours before it was crushed by debris from WTC-2. Later we found out that our aunt, a native of the Bronx, had a cousin who was killed while working at one of the financial firms in the towers. Throughout the unparalleled horror of the predictable clarion calls for an endless global war for vengeance, what they call their Global War On Terror, I call the War On Rationality, I managed to set my sights on opposing the impending catastrophe that the naked empire would pile on top of this tragedy in Afghanistan and Iraq with the World Can't Wait anti-war coalition. After just a few years, I noticed the intense debate regarding the improbable collapses -especially Bldg. 7- via the work of Stephen E. Jones and instantly realized the full depth of horror of an inside job.

I originally did not question the 911 reports or attacks by the Middle Eastern radicals until a few years ago, when I became involved in the 2008 Presidential campaign because of my concern for our country and the obvious corruption of both political parties. I was using the Internet for news information due to the inadequacies and bias of the Main Stream Media, when I stumbled across the video clips of World Trade Center Building 7. The more I investigated and researched the events of 911, the more questions I had. As an engineer, the video of the collapse of Building 7 was an obvious demolition. One other disturbing aspect of the 911 events was the attack on the Pentagon. I am aware that there are numerous cameras all around the perimeter of the Pentagon, as this is one of the most secure and highly protected buildings in the world, yet not one video was able to record the actual plane impact on the building? The video provided by the government is a farce and clearly is missing video frames that would obviously show a Boeing 757 hitting the building. My question is what are they trying to hide, and who exactly is trying to hide it. That's why I'm signing this petition for a further investigation of the 911 catastrophe.

I have NO DOUBT that from the physical evidence, and engineering principles, that none of the WTC buildings came down solely as a result of the plane intrusions. It is my opinion that the evidence of an 'inside job' is so prevalent, and so sloppily carried out , that the perpetrators, are ASKING TO BE CAUGHT ! By being so SLOPPY, the perpetrators are inviting us to end the decades of 'behind the scenes/inside job manipulations' that have enslaved so many. Let's honor their subconscious request !
