To the Members of the House of Representatives and of the Senate of the United States of America,
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

After receiving my degree I started working as a private consultant in environmental industry. My task consisted of assessing hazardous waste sites and determining how best to clean them up. After doing that for 13 years I transitioned into state service where I was responsible for reviewing environmental reports for technical adequacy and compliance with state and federal regulation. There were too many unanswered questions and/or poorly answered ones about how the trade towers and Bld 7 collapsed that forced me to reevaluate the official explanation. I've begun to understand that the reason people view people like me as conspiracy 'nuts' has nothing to do with impossibility of a multistory building, let alone three of them, collapsing into their own footprints unless it's by planned demolition. Rather it has everything to do with the inability to accept that our government, or rogue elements within our government, may have had anything to do with it. When that fact is accepted as a possibility, then everything else falls into place.

I have always been careful to focus on my discipline, architecture, and not try to be a structural engineer; however, I understand enough about structural engineering to question the 9/11 Commission's conclusions. I think it is important to review all the evidence and all the theories toward a more comprehensive explanation. 9/11 in itself was a sad day, but the aftermath has been even more tragic. We don't need a witch hunt, but we do need a better understanding of the facts to aid all of us to make prudent decisions for the future of the world.

I have a BSME. I have designed aircraft structures and steel stadium structures. I'm also a pilot with an instrument rating, and I've built an experimental aircraft. I have performed FEA analysis throughout my career and I understand structures very well.
I absolutely knew the second I watched the videos of these buildings falling that it had to have been done using explosives, the way they intentionally take down buildings. It requires immense preparation, planning and care to make a building fall straight down and not damage surrounding structures. The likelihood of a building falling that perfectly through any other means is essentially impossible. It is preposterous to suggest that these building fell from the aircraft strikes and the fires that resulted. I am very glad to see that something is being done to try to shed light on this.

I believe all the official stories about what happened on 9/11, particularly with regard to the collapse of the three buildings, are patently false, evidenced by application of the facts. I am appalled that the all the metal beams and other locations of metal, including molten metal, did not go through thorough metallurgical testing and failure analysis. Plane crashes and other accidents or failure events receive full analysis, with no stone left unturned. Here we have the largest metallurgical disaster/attack in our nation's history and the analysis and investigation has been woefully inept. We may never know fully what happened because much of the evidence was destroyed rather quickly after the event. With what I do know, it appears as if these buildings collapsed with the assistance of timed demolition. A thorough independent official investigation has not happened yet and must happen in order to glean as much truth about this major event as possible. The integrity of our nation depends upon this and the responsibility to our nation's citizens demands it.

The part that makes me saddest is that even though so many Americans have been watching TV shows about CSI (crime scene investigation) and know that standard procedure at a crime scene is that yellow police tape surrounds the crime scene and NO ONE touches any evidence, yet on 9-11 the evidence was removed and destroyed. And the American people who watch CSI shows did not rise up in anger at this blatant violation of standard operating procedure.

"When I first saw it on TV, I thought, 'Inside job,' since it was so obviously tailored and so quick. Even the homeless at the local doughnut shop that morning said, 'Inside job'. By the way, in Michael Moore's movie, 'Fahrenheit 911' he interviews a Mr. Silverstein who owned all of the World Trade Center buildings at the time and who had taken out an insurance policy on those three buildings in case a plane flew in to them (no kidding!) and he was asked about Bldg 7. He says in the movie, 'Well, we decided that enough people had already died that day, so we decided to ""...pull it"".' He admitted to imploding it!!!!! Also, he ended up collecting on each plane per building. So instead of collecting a cool $1 billion, he ended up collecting about $6 billion. It was in the newspaper at the time."

I have a PhD in Anthropology from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, with a specialty in cultural/cognitive anthropology. My work has explored the role that metaphors and analogies play as people seek to reconcile and relate distinct cultural systems in their thinking and behavior. I have also explored how metaphors and analogies can be deployed as communications tools, helping people understand complex social and scientific topics by drawing from more familiar conceptual domains. For many years I have been following the work of the 9/11 truth movement, including that of AE911Truth, and it is abundantly clear that the official story does not hold up. And while there are many reasons to question that official story, the sudden, symmetrical, rapid collapse of Building 7 -- as for so many others -- has been the lynch-pin reality that I have simply refused to ignore or explain away. As AE911Truth has discussed in its own communications, our central challenge in getting to the bottom of what happened on Sept. 11, 2001 is not primarily a matter of evidence: the physical, material, circumstantial, and testimonial evidence is quite clear that the official story is bogus. Rather, our central challenge revolves around questions of courage and intellectual integrity. Can we foster and create the conditions for enough Americans to find the courage to consider the evidence, and the integrity to act up on it once they too become convinced that something is rotten in the state of America? I know that I have struggled to find the courage to be a voice for truth on this matter, and that I have all-too-often laid low (for the most part -- though I've ruined a coupled dinner parties and lost a few friends along the way...). I'm signing this petition as part of my effort to increasingly be heard, and to bolster the efforts of those patriots who have stood up for truth on this matter, for the sake of our democracy and those who will inherit it.

I was employed as a courier at the time of 9/11. I spent my day in my vehicle with the radio on listening to my favourite alterntive rock station. When the news broke I switched to the all news stations. I never went back to this day. I became a sponge listening to everything I could to try and understand how this tragedy could have happened. Then I found my way to you guys eventually. For years now I have been flabbergasted that I seem to be the only one I know that doesn't believe the official story!
Until there is some manner for a corporation to file a lawsuit -- so individuals may not be counter-sued -- with the Department of Justice a lawsuit based on articles of Treason, Conspiracy, whatever can be found in the Federal Code that applies, this would gain Press, whether dismissed quickly, or not.The WTC destruction, facts related before, during, and after, all combine to show that (1) principles of forensic criminal investigation; (2) open public investigation; (3) premature removal of evidence; (4) denial of molten metal incongruity; (5) too-quick mention of bin Laden for investigation to connect him with it; and on and on and on, SURELY could be constructed into a completely Legal, Rational, Fact-Laced lawsuit, that even if dismissed, would make it SOMEWHERE into the news.Also, Roland and others have touched on the REAL reason for not traction, after people have seen the evidence: Employment, Paying the Mortgage, and (unstated by him) Moral and Ethical corruption (not recognized as such).These were the SAME issues which silenced nearly everyone in Nazi Germany. It seems obvious to me, after seeing all the evidences, that the Twin Towers were demolished. Thousands of humans lifes were lost that day and many others afterwards. They deserve to know truth and to know who is responsable for everything that happened. My solidarity with all of them and my unconditional support to all the people that is woking in this project.
