PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I believe the official story defies my experience. Based on my years of structural experience, and after my study of videos of the collapse of the twin towers and building 7, I believe the events of September 11, 2001 could not have occurred as stated. From videos of the collapse of building 7, the penthouse drops first prior to the collapse, and it can be noted that windows, in a vertical line, near the location of first interior column line are blown out , and reveal smoke from those explosions. This occurs in a vertical line in symmetrical fashion an equal distance in toward the center of the building from each end. When compared to controlled demolitions, one can see the similarities.

To me it has been obvious that controlled demolition and not plane crashes & fire were the causes of the WTC collapses since I saw the first TV reports on 9/11, 2001. The blatantly dishonest official story, the cover up and media efforts to hide the obvious are frankly very scary to me. A new and thorough investigation is absolutely needed, but it must be conducted by those outside the influence of the perpetrators. Perhaps this new investigation is a task for a foreign government, possibly Canada, or the UN.

If the official explanation is true, it follows that all the events that took place in 9/11 defy engineering and physics principles, but most importantly, they defy logic. By having the most basic experience with mechanical phenomena you can clearly see that the top of the South Tower should have continued falling off to the side of the building when it tilted immediately after the collapse started. The only reasonable explanation is that it encountered no resistance as it fell or that it was pulverized in mid air.

The weapons design scenario is totally different. The 'flash' from both 'planes' was the function of a 'squib' as that of an interlock. I'm here to arm the detonations and explosives. There is far more about all this, but it must be under a very different cover media.

High school physics tells us that the buildings could not have collapsed at their known freefall speed by the alleged pancake process. The alleged commercial airline which crashed into the Pentagon left no imprint whatsoever of either wings or 6 ton engines, flying at 500 mph. Impossible. It had to be a rocket.

I worked in downtown Manhattan for fifteen years, with an office on the 91st Floor of the North Tower (WTC-1) for three years. The airplane alleged to have caused the collapse of this building would have fit on our bond trading floor, with minor intrusions into walls and ceiling. Yes, the buildings swayed in a high wind -- it was part of their design. They were also designed to withstand airplane collisions, a well-known hazard. Of course, no building can survive being blown up floor by floor to produce pulverization of its support tresses and collapse at freefall speed. Let us help each other understand this monstrous aberration. Congress must be responsive to the people's needs and make a true investigation.

As an educator, I have taught at all levels of the public school, at colleges and universities, and I founded a company in 1981 that offered face-to-face graduate classes for teachers. We sold this company in 2001 and my wife and I started our new company three years ago to offer online graduate classes to K-12 teachers.

Nearly free-fall acceleration shows that DURING crumbling of each of the main WTC buildings, very little potential energy went into demolishing the supporting columns, as well as pulverizing concrete - so how come 90K of concrete & metal decking were pulverized into dust in mid-air? Let's really do a comparison - let's compare the energy needed for this task and ask where it could come from if not potential energy of the building standing up? Also, it's looks very strange that ALL columns totally failed at the same time without visible damage to lower floors and without slowing the fall of the building.

I don't have any real technical expertise, but am very willing to learn. However, I am a 9/11 survivor. I worked for the federal government, and my office was about one mile away from the Pentagon when the explosion happened. I have believed there was something wrong from day one even before the official story came out. As you will see, I moved to the UK and have been here for nearly five years. I intend to make Europe, if not the UK, my permanent residence, although I will be making trips back to the US on occasion and will try for a dual citizenship status.
One thing that has always bothered me about the attacks has been, where was the the NTSB investigators. None were ever called, particularly for the Pentagon. If a plane did indeed hit it, why were there no investigators there? I did not see any. I was able to get within 800 yards of the building, and when I asked a Federal Marshal where they were at was quickly told to leave. It was rather bizarre. A scientific explanation is one of the few ways to explain what precisely what happened on that day; we can inject our own realpolitik-er later, but let's get the scientific evidence out first.

Numerous architects, engineers, and controlled demolition experts testify that the collapse of WTC 7 (and quite likely buildings 1 & 2 as well) cannot be predicated on the reasons put forward in the 9/11 Commission Report, or the findings of the NIST, both of which operated under obvious conflicts of interest. Jonathan Barnett's work on steel recovered from the WTC7 debris was called perhaps the deepest mystery of 9/11. What does it prove and what conclusions can we draw? I believe the results cannot be explained by an ordinary office or fuel fire. I believe the results prove that sulfur was deliberately placed in WTC7, and that the sulfur was heated to a higher temperature than consistent with the official explanation. The sulfur could NOT have come from gypsum (calcium sulfate) in the drywall. At the very least, we must conclude that arson was committed in WTC7. Such evidence of arson justifies an investigation on any day except 9/11/2001.

Overwhelming evidence renders preposterous the official theories about the perpetrators, the physics explaining the cause and mechanism of the building collapses, and the reasons that no branch of the government, including the military, acted responsibly or appropriately during the events on September 11, 2001. There has been no credible explanation for the failure of every pertinent branch of the government to act effectively or react responsibly to the evidence before, during, or since the attacks. No credible explanation has been given for the admitted failure to investigate or follow the money trail (including the 100,000 dollar transfer to Mohammed Atta from the head of the Pakistani ISI, or the put options on the involved airlines and Boeing, or many other obvious leads.

I grew up in New Zealand, studied for my Masters Degree in Animal Nutrition at Lincoln University; Canterbury; NZ and joined the the Ministry of Agriculture as a scientist in animal nutrition. In 1968 I went to Cornell University; NY and spent 3 years studying for a PhD. On returning to NZ I spent the rest of my scientific career working mainly on the subject of deer biology in backing up a new industry in the farming of that species.
I have read a number of books on this topic mainly because my son pushed me to look at the subject of 9/11 and draw my own conclusions. Photographs and video clips of the destruction of the three large buildings in Manhattan show them exploding from within--long after two of them were hit by airplanes, and the third by airborne debris--and falling at speeds that could be matched only by the best professional demolition. I have a doctorate, but it is not in science. I have worked since I was 16 but am now elderly and retired. I have lived an interesting life, and I am grateful for that. But I feel very sad for the people who died in the 9/11 travesty. A friend of mine works in Manhattan, and she had to walk home, saw the explosion, breathed the air....she said it was terrifying. I think that 9/11 should never have happened.
There are too many things about the official position that simply do not add up. I believe this 9/11 destruction was done for political reasons, and to make people afraid of 'terrorists'. But the 'terrorists' who did this spent a long time planting explosives in the buildings...they had that authority. It was planned in advance by certain government workers and nothing was done to stop it from happening. It was clearly designed to make Americans afraid, and was used to put through legislation that would never have passed. I remember how we all flew flags after that, and wore lapel ribbons of red white and blue. Out of fear that we would be seen as 'unpatriotic'...and then they passed the 'Patriot Act' which severely limits our freedoms.

I taught theology at a seminary in Albania for three years, then taught at St. John's College in Santa Fe, NM, for seven years, from 1998 to 2005. Since then I have worked various jobs, and have been translating the writings of a medieval Greek patriarch, John Bekkos, who supported the union of the Churches.
I am convinced that the collapse of WTC Building 7 was a planned demolition: if for no other reason than that news reporters were reporting that it had fallen down before it actually did. And there is much evidence to suggest that the same is true of the Twin Towers themselves, that the planes which hit the towers were not what actually brought them down. The squibs appearing in video footage of the buildings' collapse, especially at points of greatest structural reinforcement, are one of the clearest pieces of evidence pointing to timed explosives, along with the rate of free fall and the disappearance of the central steel pillars.

Any appropriate investigation will need to be thorough and multipdisciplinary in scope if we hope to get to the truth about 911.
911 is suspicious on so many levels but a better understanding of the available chemical and physical evidence is probably the best place to begin a more detailed and NON-PARTISAN investigation. Aside from the terrible tragedy and loss of lives associated with 911 directly, at least as many more died in Iraq and Afghanistan not to mention billions of dollars spent--which wars most likely never would have place without the pretext of a 911 Reichstaght type of event. Everyone either directly or indirectly is suffering to some level because of these events--even if it is only the loss of freedom and peace of mind which we had prior to 911.

It is clear from the evidence that has now been presented that the buildings were brought down by controlled demolition. The buildings could not possibly have collapsed at free-fall speed unless their structures were substantially weakened using carefully engineered explosive blasts and cutter charges. Analysis of the dust from the site shows abundant presence of chemicals that would not have been present under any circumstances had explosives not been used. Further, videos of plumes and anecdotal evidence show explosions occurring as many as forty floors below the 'collapsing' floors; other evidence reveals that sub-floor explosions preceded the collapse of the two main towers. At this point, hundreds of articles written by qualified individuals who have closely researched the evidence clearly establish these and many, many other points that the formal inquiry chose to ignore.

50 years of research experience and 30 years of graduate and undergraduate teaching experience provide the background for me to see many shortcomings in the government's explanation of events on 9-11-01, even if my field is not architecture or engineering.
The nature and rate of building collapses on 9-11-01 are not compatible with the government explanation. A new investigation independent of government agencies would likely reach a totally different conclusion.

I have read the reports of nano-explosive residue found throughout the rubble, which makes me believe that something has been overlooked. Nano-explosives do not appear naturally in any circumstance unless they are used explicitly to explode. This alone makes me want to know where this residue came from and why was it in the WTC rubble.
