PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I completed my mechanical engineering degree in summer of 09. I am currently job searching. I have little engineering experience outside of school and I am excited to start building energy and transportation systems, inexpensive and efficient housing, and agricultural machines. I have a minor in physics and I had excellent professors in statics, mechanics of materials, and material science.
Where do you start? If a plane hit the pentagon, why wont they release a video which shows this. There certainly should have been more plane parts in shanksville and the pentagon. Even if the fire was hot enough to melt the metal of the plane, where are the tons of molten metal? Building 7 is obvious demolition. The biggest inconsistency with building 7 and the towers is that stress would have been concentrated where the planes hit or where the fires were buring, however fracture does not occur at this stress concentration but rather at the base of the structures.

I just want to know the truth about what our government has done to the future of this country...we as American people have a right to know why innocent people have to die because of someone else's greed. I want answers as to why this nation can't come out of the financial ruin we are in and mostly why nobody cares enough to get mad and do something about it.
Only buildings that are a pert of a controlled demolition fall the way the towers did. Why didn't they tip to one side? I would think that they would break off at the access point of the plane but instead collapsed on itself. Where are the black boxes from all the planes. Especially the plane that hit the pentagon. Why is there an exit hole in the other side of the pentagon; the plane didn't go through the entire building, just one side, so where did the hole come from? Where is the plane? Jet fuel can't melt the material the plane was made from so where is the rest of it? Where is the video footage of the plane hitting the building? Seventy surveillance video's and not one is able to catch a 747 hitting a building? Where is the indentation of the wingspan on the building? And if it is there, why isn't it wide enough to show that a 747 flew into it? Why didn't the plane hit anywhere else on the building and only hit the part of the pentagon that was newly reconstructed to withstand a bomb? And why were key people on that particular flight and not just regular civilians? I have many more questions but I will just start here.

I am a small business owner; I have been in business in New York since 1976. Until 2004 I maintained offices in the garment center and in 2005 I moved to the North Fork of Long Island where I own a small Inn.
I was working in New York on 9/11/2001 and spent the night there with my son who was working with me that day, at a hotel near Times Square. We walked East to the Hudson river and West Side Highway at around 8pm that evening. We were amazed to see, already assembled when we arrived, countless numbers of garbage trucks lined up as far as the eye could see along the length of highway in both north and south directions. We walked towards the George Washington bridge for a while and the line of trucks continued north. It appeared to stretch as far as the bridge. We were struck by how bright new and shiny they looked and were amazed that they could all have been assembled in such a short period of time, less than 12 hours after the first tower fell. I'd like to know where these trucks came from, who ordered these trucks, why it was possible that so many could be assembled in so short a time and when these arrangements were made.

On-site reports of hearing explosions in the towers from news-persons, police, firefighters, and ordinary citizens corroborate the presence of explosive material in the buildings before the planes hit. After deselection from the college teaching profession, I have sold drill bushings, managed an apartment complex, and currently work as an administrative secretary at Cornell University. Although my degree work is in language and literature, I am not scientifically illiterate.
There was just far too much energy expended in the destruction of the twin towers to be adequately explained by the official theory, insofar as that can be pinned down on any given day. The particle size of the remains of the towers was way too small, the pile of debris way too short, the speed of fall way too fast. The anomalies that remain to be explained are many, and the official theory does not begin to address them adequately, or indeed, at all, in the case of Bldg. 7. I want to know about the toasted cars, the hole in Bldg. 4, the survival of the PATH trains, and a lot more.

My analysis of the the 9/11 Commission report concludes that it is a whitewash. It is remarkable for its omissions, which have been detailed by others The political bias of its operations director is highly suspect. All the buildings clearly show the mark of controlled demolition. Enough evidence suggests it was allowed to happen to justify a new, independent and impartial investigation with all results made public and all testimony made under oath. As a musicologist and organology enthusiast, I have always dabbled in acoustical physics as part of my field and spent time with music-loving physics professors and engineers. I received an A.B. degree from St. Joseph's University, Philadelphia PA in 1962, a M.A. and Ph.D. in Psychology in 1965 and 1967 respectively from the University of Wisconsin. I was an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Pomona College from 1967 until 1970. I was awarded an NIMH Senior Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Psychobiology, University of California at Irvine from 1970-1973. I then served as an assistant and associate professor with tenure in Psychology at the University of Texas at Austin, and as a full professor in Psychology and Neuroscience at the University of Illinois, Urbana/Champaign from 1982 until 1988. I moved my office and laboratory to the Beckman Institute for Advanced Science and Technology (on the Urbana campus) in 1988. I retired in 2003. My research concerned analyses of the neurophysiological substrates of conditioning, learning and memory. I have published many articles and chapters and have been a co-editor of two books on these topics.
I am convinced that the twin towers and WTC building 7 collapsed as a result of controlled demolition. This conviction is owed largely to the evidence marshaled by David A Griffin, Richard Gage and many additional scientists and architects who have carried out scientific research on these most important events. It is essential that citizens of the U.S. and the world be informed of these scientific findings and conclusions in the interest of arriving at a just resolution of the crimes committed on 9/11 2001.

I did my undergrad in math and engineering, mostly theoretical mechanics. But then I switched to philosophy of physics and logic for my M.A. and Ph.D. I'm currently teaching in the Philosophy department at the University of British Columbia. My main publication is a technical monograph about physical probability, published by the University of Toronto Press.
As I teach courses on scientific reasoning, I'm always on the lookout for good examples of bad science, and I thought the 9/11 conspiracy theories would provide some material. I was shocked to find many good arguments among the bad ones. In particular, arguments that the global collapse was not powered by gravity alone seem virtually conclusive. The way NIST has ignored this issue (or said silly things about it) helps to support the conclusion.

That the destruction of WTC Buildings 1, 2, and 7 were the result of controlled demolition is obvious.

There are so many bizarre phenomena associated with the collapse of the towers, and the inexplicable melting of over 1000 vehicles, many on the opposite side of the island along FDR Drive. The sum of these phenomena reeks of the deepest evil.

I have been a college professor and active scientist for nearly 45 years.
From the day I watched the TV news coverage of the Twin Towers free-fall to the ground and then awhile later heard that Building 7, though not hit by a plane, also free-fell to the ground, I thought, along with some of the early news commentators, that the collapses looked like controlled demolitions. Then there was the clear reticence on the part of the Bush Administration to open an investigation. Finally and begrudgingly the 9/11 Commission was named and produced what turned out to be a woefully incomplete and inadequate assessment. In the face of the magnitude and gravity of 9/11, the cost in dollars and, most importantly, the horrendous loss of human lives, such an inadequate treatment is not acceptable under any standards. Not long after 9/11, websites began to appear which posed fair and reasonable questions challenging the 'official' version of how the buildings fell, and related issues. The writings of prominent scholars, such as David Ray Griffin and others, considered the diverse and mounting pieces of evidence in systematic and thoughtful ways. While one may disagree with the interpretation of this or that piece of evidence, the emerging mosaic of physical, economic, political and social evidence is compelling and demands a reinvestigation. Frankly, at this point I don't see how our country can go forward as a democracy until this matter is fully and completely settled by an independent, comprehensive, competent investigation by a body with full subpoena power.

There are serious and legitimate questions about the collapses of the towers and building seven, as well as many other aspects of the events of 9/11. Thus far, official answers have been unconvincing. The official 9/11 Commission Report, in particular, has been shown to be seriously flawed and misleading (Griffin, 2004). And NIST consistently avoids the critical questions. Our security requires an accurate accounting of what really happened. Thus, we need, for the first time, a real, probing investigation by competent professionals without significant ties to the administration. Is that so unreasonable? If the government is unwilling to support a new investigation, they should at least be willing to publicly defend the official account against legitimate challenges by competent authorities in the various relevant fields. So far they have been unwilling--or unable.
