PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

Given an even basic understanding of high school physics, it's painfully obvious that high rises do not suddenly pulverise mid-air; fire-protected structural steel will not melt when exposed briefly to a pool of burning jet fuel; and virtually undamaged office buildings built to code simply cannot collapse symmetrically at near-free fall speed due to a few limited fires. Clearly, the 9/11 tragedy was not a physics-defying Hollywood blockbuster, despite what the official narrative desperately would like us to believe. It was a real-world event, with real people perishing, and with untold suffering and damage as a direct consequence. We owe it to the victims of that fateful day to expose the nonsensical reasoning (or lack of reasoning) that makes up the bulk of the NIST 'investigation' -- we would merely have to let the evidence and the laws of nature speak for themselves, that's all.

I have been working as a practicing architect since my graduation in 2002, under the care of a fully licensed architect. I have also completed my internship, but I just never took the exams. I can complete town-approved drawings for residential homes (start to finish, including structure design), and have put together many packages for small scale commercial buildings.
For many years I went along with all reported news on the destruction of buildings 1 and 2 without knowing anything about building 7. A few years ago my girlfriend had me watch a documentary on the destruction of building 7, which really made me question my thoughts on it all. Since that day I have watched, read and reviewed everything I could get my hands on (including the actual building plans you have on your website) and have come to realize that many reported facts simply can't be true. The sentence That's just not possible is a phrase I now use often when it comes to this subject.

After obtaining a Diploma of Agriculture (Longerenong, Victoria) I spent my early years as an employee, then contractor, in Queensland. I obtained a block of virgin bush in Western Australia which I cleared and developed as a sheep and grain farm. It is my belief that it is important for those who dispute the official explanation for the WTC collapses to stick rigidly to the evidence which stands up to scientific scrutiny. I have now written and co-authored a number of papers examining various aspects of the collapses (Journal of 9/11 Studies). All observations are in accord with controlled demolition but not with fire and impact damage. The NIST report falls far short of a proper scientific study.

It seems incredible to me that anyone can believe that these collapses of buildings into their own footprints at near free fall speed can be attributed to the forces of gravity aided by structural damage from the planes and heat from burning office materials weakening the steel structure. Once I read the work of Stephen Jones, BYU Physics Dept., Emeritus, on thermite reactions I concluded that a controlled demolition was the most likely explanation of how the 3 trade center buildings came down in the way they did.

On the balance of physical as well chemical analytical evidence available from NIST, EPA, FEMA and and the open peer-reviewed scientific literature, it appears to be possible that the three buildings WTC-1, WTC-2 and WTC-7 were in fact brought down by a controlled demolition using (resonantly wired) Al/S/Fe2O3 based thermite explosives, possibly in form of a silica based sol-gel coating applied to the central steel cores of the towers and/or WTC-7. A truly independent group of engineers and scientists (possibly composed only of non-US citizens from other NATO/G-7 countries) should be set-up to investigate this possibility.

I am retired from utility regulatory work, and now teach the economics sequence at PCC.
I am impressed that the only record of a structural steel building collapsing occurs on one day, September 11, 2001. All of the buildings fell basically within their footprint, and one, Building Seven, was not hit by an aircraft yet fell with absolute precision.

Initial steps towards an electrical engineering degree were cast aside when I discovered linguistic anthropology, a field that I still enjoy after 39 years of teaching it at the University of Texas. I have not lost, however, a deep interest in physics and engineering.
Common sense suggested from the moment of watching the buildings fall, that they were demolished deliberately and by explosive means. Such demolition and the required time for set-up, as well as the subsequent cover-ups by various government agencies and commissions requires the conclusion that multiple elected agents of the executive and legislative branches of this government were complicit in the 9/11 crime.

The official investigation was insufficient in it's scope. Much of the post-collapse evidence has been left out of the official investigation. The questions that have been raised due to the post-collapse evidence have been ignored and certainly left unanswered. The official explanations for the 3 major collapses are not backed by physical evidence. Catastrophes that would be considered minor compared to the events of 9/11 have been investigated with greater care and completeness than what has been done and reported by NIST and FEMA. A more thorough investigation of the cause of the collapse of those three buildings is long overdue.

I'm a tenured professor at MIT, and have been teaching there for the past 15 years. I started off as a field consultant working with structural engineers, and gradually moved up in the industry. After I received my doctorate I moved back to Boston, and started teaching at MIT.
It all started when I first saw the attack on television. There was an abundance of information, supplied by, 'experts', and the media. However, there were so many questions left unanswered. I took the liberty of running some of the numbers myself. I had to do this because the collapse just seemed too precise, falling onto it's own footprint, the near freefall speed of the collapse. Even other factors, like the explosions heard on the lower floors, are trivialized by the media. The numbers just don't add up.

I am an economist and a student of public affairs. I have no technical expertise that qualifies me to judge these matters. But I can read, can listen, and have become convinced that the official story of what happened on 9/11/01 simply cannot be true.
The official story of the collapse of building 7, delayed until August 2008, not mentioned once in the 911 commission report, defies credibility. The NIST report on the towers, to a lay person, could, possibly be true. But the official story of the collapse of building 7 cannot be true. And if that isn't true, the tower collapse story probably isn't true either.

Statement: The events on 9/11 will remain one of the worst crimes of the 21st century, and served already as pretexts for wars that claimed thousands of lives. They compromised the relation of Western countries with large parts of the world, and have already been used to strip the population of Western countries off vital democratic rights. There is compelling evidence that, in contrast to what the world has been told about the 9/11 events, the WTC towers were destroyed by controlled demolition. Consequently, one may conclude that the so-called 'attack on America' was in fact an inside job. Bringing the truth to light is crucial for enabling future generations to live in a more peaceful and just world.
