On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

There is an obvious doubt to the way in which (and the speed in which) the two towers collapsed. To a lay person it may be a second thought and an issue for an expert. Well, here are the experts, the professionals, who look at what happened and say, The official investigation just does not add up. If you have over 1,000 professionals, people deemed by their respective states to be competent enough to design structures - to be THE licensed authority on such matters, deem the official investigation to be incomplete or incorrect - shouldn't we listen?

I graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering from Washington State University. I currently am an electrical engineer for Cray Incorporated. I also served in the United States Army for 12 years. In the army, I was a human resources information systems management specialist, human resource specialist, and trained human intelligence collector. I have spent many years of my adult life working for the United States government in various capacities.
I am simply appalled at the destruction of the three towers on 9/11. I can honestly say I had no idea there was a third building involved. The events of 9/11 are a large reason that I signed up to serve my country. Now, thanks to organizations such as AE, and knowing there was a third building destroyed, I see the plausibility that there is more to the story than what has been presented to us. I certainly concur that there should be an unbiased re-investigation. The videos and other public resources showing the collapse of WTC 7 do not suggest nor support collapse by common office fire, in my opinion.

I am a licensed master builder. In the last forty-years of my working life I have worked on many high-rise buildings from the footings to the fit-out.
In my final year (1970) at the West London College of Art and Building, we completed a unit on the slurry-trench and the spread footings of the World Trade Centre. I know the Twin Towers could not fall in the manner they did, unless the massive footings holding them aloft, was first destroyed. It is beyond all reason to believe a jet airliner slamming in to the eighty-second floor of WTC would cause the footings to fail six storeys below grade, not possible. It is in the interest of all people on earth to know what happen on 9/11 and who the real culprits are. We need a new and independent inquiry into the death and destruction at the WTC on 9/11. After all, the happenings on that direful day have resulted in two murderous wars, which still rage to this day.

I am a Chartered Engineer with over 20 years' experience in rolling stock (trains) in the UK, N & S Americas, Australasia, and SE Asia, specialising in rolling stock strategy and specification, including writing and implementing local, national, and international standards, which includes structural integrity, crashworthiness, and fire standards. I was always uneasy about the WTC collapses, and the more I saw of the evidence, the less I liked the official explanation. As mentioned in my bio, I have worked with structural integrity and fire standards for rail vehicles, and although different in detail, they have significant fundamental similarities to architectural standards. The official report does no credit to the engineering community and is a slur on high rise designers who have had to justify why a plane could destroy a skyscraper, or a fire break out and make a building fall down. As the tragic events at the Grenfell Tower in London last year showed once again, high rise buildings do not fall down from fires. Grenfell was described as looking like 'a candle' yet still survives, but a 47 story building with some smouldering paper falls in on itself? The official explanations for the three WTC buildings are a joke and the engineering community needs to say enough is enough; it's time for the truth.

Although I have no means proving my gut feelings about what really happened on 9/11/2001, I would put money on the bet that the Bush administration used the attack to obtain the support of the majority of the American people to open a new war on Afghanistan in addition to the raging war in Iraq, in pursue of indirectly funding the all-powerful US weapon industry. I am almost convinced, at least I would not be surprised at all, that this administration firstly had full information about the terrorists preparations prior to their attack, secondly decided not to intervene these activities, and thirdly purposely used this attack to also demolish building 7 in the event. The controlled demolition of building 7 means it was planned and prepared for a long time in advance. That being true, it becomes difficult not to assume that the collapse of the two towers also was prepared in advance, and was the real cause for their destruction, not the aircraft and the fire inferno. This would then lead to the proof of the US government at the time wanting the plans of the terrorists to be successful, and even having prepared to help them in making sure the three buildings would come down, and kill almost 3000 people as a side-effect' This then is the world we live in, a world full of hypocrites and money horny individuals, who don't blink an eye killing their own fellowmen to benefit themselves as much as possible' Believing this scenario is the reason I also want an independent investigation to come about, and incarcerate the ones guilty until they die' I pray your initiative will be fully successful.

I have been working as a practicing architect since my graduation in 2002, under the care of a fully licensed architect. I have also completed my internship, but I just never took the exams. I can complete town-approved drawings for residential homes (start to finish, including structure design), and have put together many packages for small scale commercial buildings.
For many years I went along with all reported news on the destruction of buildings 1 and 2 without knowing anything about building 7. A few years ago my girlfriend had me watch a documentary on the destruction of building 7, which really made me question my thoughts on it all. Since that day I have watched, read and reviewed everything I could get my hands on (including the actual building plans you have on your website) and have come to realize that many reported facts simply can't be true. The sentence That's just not possible is a phrase I now use often when it comes to this subject.

I also cannot believe how the American people so easily accept whatever nonsense our newscasters and media put out without even applying basic common sense, let alone the laws of physics. Very sadly and shamelessly, someone powerful is blowing smoke into our eyes, and taking great advantage of the naive and oft forgiving American people over and over again. The scientific evident for the use of incendiary explosives to take down the buildings should be confirmed or refuted in an independent investigation. If Congress will not require that investigation, the President should arrange for it. And find out whether NIST scientists were fully behind the apparent incomplete analyses and omission of so much information in the NIST report. Were their views suppressed/omitted in the report? They should be closely questioned on their input into the NIST report.

Technically speaking; and after the airplanes hit the the towers, a large amount of heat was generated. This heat should go up rather than down. Even if they do go down, the amount of time needed to cause a a major damage at the lower parts of the towers are not hours but days!!

I had undergrad majors in chemistry and physics, with a minor in math. I did graduate work in statistical and quantum mechanics. My postdoctoral studies were in physical/chemical oceanography/meteorology. The balance of my career was in aerospace: materials, propulsion, structure, dynamics, electromagnetics/electro-optics, thermodynamics.

I obtained a bachelor degree in agronomy from Laval University in 1996, followed by a M.Sc. in soil science. I completed a Ph.D. in Natural Resources Science in 1999. I worked for Agriculture Canada as a research scientist and then the Newfoundland Department of Natural Resources as an extension Specialist. Based on the strength of the evidence presented by the Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth, it is my opinion that the official version presented by NIST is deeply flawed, and another independent investigation needs to be conducted by independent parties. Those investigators should be drawn from a pool of international and private consultants to avoid any political bias.

THOMAS HANSEN, Ph.D., is a retired mathematics education researcher, author, and teacher. He began his teaching career in the Peace Corps in Liberia in 1964. He directed the investigation of administrative uses of computers for a National Institute of Education project and was a researcher for a National Science Foundation project to measure computer literacy. He was a mathematics and computer education author for Scholastic Publishing, IBM, Silver Burdett, Scott-Foresman, Creative Publications, and Encyclopedia Britannica. He coordinated adult education programs for a community college in Iowa, serving eleven surrounding communities, and also taught mathematics at a community college.
The evidence that AE 9/11 Truth presents seems to me to clearly demonstrate that the Twin Towers and Building 7 were destroyed by controlled demolition. Particularly impressive is the research of Harrit, Jones, et al, which proves that unexploded and exploded nano-thermite was present in the dust. The 9/11 Commission Report did not deal with the possibility of controlled demolition. As Dr. Philip Zelikow told me in person, he and his staff did not investigate anything that they felt was a conspiracy theory. The NIST report was insufficient as well, since they did not test for explosives or residues of explosives, and their modeled scenario stopped at the beginning of the falling of the buildings, thus ignoring the many indicators of controlled demolition.

I had really tried hard to convince myself that the official explanation was the true one. After reading papers and books, watching videos and pictures, listening to eyewitnesses interviews I have no doubts in my mind that WTC-1, 2 and 7 were destroyed by controlled demolitions.

Most of the time I worked in the Office of Toxic Substances doing risk assessments on old and new chemicals. I also worked for the US Army Medical Research and Materiel Command where I was chief of environmental compliance. At EPA, I helped launch the professional's union and was twice elected president.
I have read Crossing the Rubicon by Mike Ruppert. I have read David Ray Griffin's books and heard him speak. There is no doubt in my mind that the official conspiracy story is false. We need a truly independent investigation. 9/11 may have been an inside job. The implications of this are staggering.

I received an MA in Religion and Literature at the University of Chicago in 1964, and a Ph.D. in the philosophy of religion from Claremont University, Claremont, California in 1998. I taught English at Evansville College (now University) in Indiana in 1964 - 1966. I taught Religious Studies as an adjunct at Calif. State University Long Beach for two or three years in the late 1980s, and at Cal State Northridge briefly in 1993. I am the author of several books, including THE UTTERMOST DEEP: THE CHALLENGE OF NEAR-DEATH EXPERIENCES, a re-write of my dissertation for the general reader, published in 2001, and TAKING THE ADVENTURE: FAITH AND OUR KINSHIP WITH ANIMALS, a book of essays, in 2014. I took an interest in the 9/11 Truth movement after discovering David Griffin's first book on the subject. I had known him for about twelve years because he was my dissertation advisor at Claremont; thus I was very aware that he was a brilliant, pioneering, and highly disciplined thinker. I am a member of Faith Leaders for 9/11 Truth.
Though I am in the humanities, not the sciences, I dealt with the philosophy of science in my dissertation, and know something about the importance of evaluating the strength, or otherwise, of evidence. It is clear to me that the evidence is very strong that the Twin Towers, and Building 7, could in no way have come down in the ways that the 9/11 Commission and NIST concluded, and that a new investigation, uncontrolled by partisan political forces, is much needed. (However, I suspect a generation must pass before that is likely to take place.)

Everything surrounding the destruction of the buildings has been cued as misguided to the American people. I believe with my academic background that the buildings were destroyed from an outside variable independent of the planes crashing into the buildings. It is safe to say the the buildings met no resistance while falling, a huge factor indicating that their support on every floor failed due to some unknown cause. Bradley Larson's paper Active Thermitic Material Discovered in Dust from the 9/11 World Trade Center Catastrophe has scientifically documented the presence of an explosive material at the scene of the tragedy. Building 7 is also an event totally independent of any aircraft flying into the building, yet it fell with little to no resistance. I stand by my theory that the buildings in NYC on 9/11 did not fall because of aircraft impact.

As a scientist, and one trained and with years of experience in making critical observations, the moment I first watched the collapse of the Twin Towers I was convinced that it was without doubt a controlled demolition. The collapse of WTC7 that was not hit by an aircraft simply confirmed this as did George W. Bush's response (or lack thereof) when informed of the attack on the WTC. It was at that point that I realized that he already knew about it.

Having seen the initial attacks whilst at work at the T-REX Project in Denver on 11 September 2001 at approximately 7:00 am, I witnessed the event.
