PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I have worked in Civil and Structural Engineering since 1984. I currently work as a structural engineer designing projects for Alaska's oil industry. I have also done forensic engineering for repair of fire damaged buildings.
Although I have seen fires cause steel members to warp seriously, I have not seen fire cause steel buildings to collapse. On the contrary, I have seen steel buildings suffer fire damage yet remain standing. A collapse due to fire damage would start at the first member to fail, and global failure would cascade asymmetrically from there. Controlled demolition is the best explanation for what we saw at the 3 WTC buildings.

Pulverized cement that was combined with hardened steel removed from its place and plop, right into the foot print. Controlled demolition, right Dan? I was not a popular person for a few years. No one wanted to hear me out. Spoke out against the president, W., I did. Don't go to war. Don't believe the story the bush administration tells you about Bin Laden or Iraq. Outcast. The laws of Physics ceased to exist on 9/11. Jet fuel, and aluminum hit concrete and steel but the three of the most well engineered buildings in Manhattan free fall into their footprint. I make model airplanes out of aluminum and smash them into my refrigerator to demonstrate the absurdity. Your approach is better. In order for the buildings top sections to fall at free fall speed, the under structure would have to be removed. The demolition's planners would have to get access for extended periods of time to critical points of structural engineering with the proper materials and expertise without being discovered. Who can pull that off? Count them on my fingers and toes. Residues and structural indicators would have to be rushed away before any analysis could be verified, and let the first responders in to eventually die from toxicity. Aren't those criminal acts? But science found what evidence was left behind. Strong indications and evidence of thermite, then nano thermite, which further narrows down the suspects to one hand. You have put the science together in a convincing manner. I believe that if the science side stays strong in their mission, that the social impact will continue to grow.

Since graduating college in 1982, I have worked in the structural engineering field. In 2000, I started my own consulting business as a structural engineer. I have experience with wood, concrete, and steel design as well as some forensic experience investigating collapses of structures. I also have experience as a paid on call fire/rescue worker.
I've done extensive research online, and of videos, and have concluded that at the very least, building #7 was 100% a controlled demolition. Although there are literally hundreds of discrepancies, and unexplained things surrounding 9/11, I consider the collapse of building #7, and the fact that Controlled Demolition (the Company) was hired for site clean-up to be an unexplainable coincidence. The fact that we spent much less than the investigation of Flight 800 is also questionable. The destruction of the crime scene evidence is inexcusable. I did not witness any raging infernos that the media claims existed on 9/11.

Prior to 9/11, I had watched a short film on controlled demolitions because the city of Pittsburgh (where I was at the time) was planning one for their old football/baseball stadium (Three Rivers Stadium). They said that controlled demolitions IMPLODE so that they do not destroy neighboring buildings and regions, whereas natural collapses usually have a less well-contained path, falling asymmetrically towards neighboring structures.

Was supposed to fly with friends to New York on 9/9/2001. However, I decided to not join in the last minute. A friend, who is the son of a university professor for statics, suggested immediately the official story is wrong. When I reacted first in anger and revisited the 9/11 videos in an attempt to show he was wrong, I noticed the official version could not be correct. The official version defies the laws of physics. Clearly it was a demolition. Nano-thermite was packed into the buildings.

Two days after the Towers came down, I knew something was wrong with the reports coming from governmental sources and the media. Since that time, I have spent countless hours researching the topic: reading books and scientific articles, attending meetings where Richard Gage and others have spoken, attending public viewings of films, and exchanging extensive information with my colleagues in science.
As someone said years ago, an eight-year old would not believe the official report about what happened to the WTC and about the other events of 9/11. There is much (dis)information on the Internet, as well as in print. I have read various alternative theories about what caused the destruction of the WTC Towers; however, I am convinced by the scientific evidence that controlled demolitions brought down the Towers--demolitions powered by thermite and nano-thermite.

The collapse of Towers I and II and Building 7 appear to have been caused by controlled demolition methods and the explosions which pulverized (vaporized?) the buildings and everything inside. From reading Dr. Harrit's explanation, nano-thermite was used to destroy the supporting steel structures. Airplane fuel fires could not have melted the steel girders and allowed the two Towers to collapse to the ground in about 10 seconds (free-fall speed); seven seconds for Building 7.

I am a former English and Art History professor (non-tenured) who taught at various NY Metro area universities and colleges, including Seton Hall and Rutgers Universities, as well as Dominican, St. Thomas Aquinas and Ramapo Colleges from 1987 until 2004. I also worked for Dow Jones in their South Brunswick facility for 18 months during the mid-90s (our small reprint department was an offshoot of the news desk that produces the ticker content in Times Square, so I know a bit about breaking news). I retain vivid memories of watching multiple coverage of the Oklahoma City bombing, as my ticker colleagues hustled to produce the copy.
I lived in Rockland County, NY, home to many NYC first-responders, at the time of the attacks. That morning, the planes hit the WTC during my 8 am Art History class at Dominican College. Our school soon went into lockdown, so I went home to watch the coverage. From the beginning, I felt skeptical about so many things, including how few people were in the buildings, compared to a normal day. I also found it strange they never mentioned all the vendors in the lower levels or even on the street. The first Tower had collapsed before our school suspended classes, and I remember how we all found it unbelievable how quickly so much of that enormous building could just disintegrate. As the sister of a volunteer firefighter/EMT in another state, I found it incredible in all the drills, they had never warned people there would be no attempts at rooftop rescues. (Some of my students spoke on their cell phones to relatives climbing to the roof, only to find the doors locked; we had no idea at the time what that meant). Later, when Mayor Giuliani allowed so much of the Fresh Kills evidence/debris to be destroyed, I felt my suspicions confirmed; the mayor had made his reputation as a no-nonsense US attorney. Why would he allow precious evidence, let alone possible human remains, to be lost? I also found the locating of some of the alleged perpetrators' passports to be utter nonsense; how could those piles of dust and debris render those items, while so many others never surfaced? I knew plenty of people who volunteered near the Ground Zero in those early weeks, and not one of them believes the passports were not planted. The evidence about explosives vs. fire temperatures, heat, remnants, etc. provided on your site has completely solidified my belief 9/11 was an inside job; it really is hard to deny the laws of physics. I also found Michael Moore's Fahrenheit 9/11 entirely convincing; why were the attackers' names absent from the passenger manifests, etc.? Having experienced the personal devastation of this probable black op for so many of my friends who lost relatives and friends, I remain horrified by the failure of the government and the 9/11 Commission to get to the bottom of this atrocity. After 12 years, I still shudder and weep whenever I see the Towers in old footage, watch the growing number of documentaries or view any of the anniversary ceremonies.

There is no way Building 7 could have collapsed that way, unless it was a controlled demolition. And once this is clear, it becomes also clear that the same thing happened to the Twin Towers....Who put the explosive? There is an enormous amount of proof that WTC 1 and WTC 2 were demolished. When Mr. Silvertsein admitted on TV that they 'pulled' WTC 7 that tells you everything you need to know. The whole thing was a false flag operation to allow us to attack Iraq and Afghanistan. The military-industrial complex had triumphed once again and made a fortune profiting from the death and destruction of useless wars.

The evidence presented by Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and related written and video materials convinces me that all three WTC buildings were destroyed by explosives planted in the buildings. A full independent investigation is required to ascertain the evidence and determine what organizations and/or individuals were responsible for these controlled demolitions and if possible prepare a draft inditement of the guilty parties.

Too many questions have gone unanswered in the 9-11 tragedy. For example, it is quite clear that in looking at videos of the WTC-7 building collapse there are many gaps in the various official inquiries, such as the obviously controlled collapse, the fact there there were only a few fires burning in the building, firefighter shouting before 'stand back, they are bringing it down', and a TV announcer (I think BBC) saying the building had collapsed before it actually had (one can see it plainly in the background while she made this announcement). Since 2001, the world has become radically more unsafe, the US has increased it military presence to unprecedented levels, and, perhaps most distressingly, a Surveillance State has emerged on US soil, one far surpasses the capabilities of those existing in Stalinst USSR and Nazi Germany. If a request for an inquiry is rebuffed with the question, 'Why?', my response would be 'Why not?' What is to be lost with an independent citizen's inquiry? Is that not what democracy is all about? What would be wrong with honesty and openness? As a philosopher of science, I support Popper's concept of an open society, and the US Government's refusal to have an open inquiry flies in the face of that. Investigate now!
