On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

The RB211 engines of a Boeing 757 should have left a much larger footprint at the Pentagon then was visible with the released film clips of the resulting explosion & fire etc..

From the day it happened, the WTC Building 7 collapse looked suspicious. Seeing the collapse for the first time seemed surreal and caused me to wonder how this building could possibly collapse and come straight down. There didn't seem to be sufficient damage to WTC Building 7 for it to collapse especially when considering that the entire building came down virtually within its own foot print. Therefore, if this was a planned demolition, then there is suspicion cast on the events of 9/11.

In the intervening years I worked at a variety of jobs, the most applicable being the 12 years when I did instrumentation & controls and then mechanical design engineering for a variety of industries. I have a typical plodding but thorough and mechanistic and engineering approach to any subject I approach.
I felt indignation when I first heard that people were questioning the official version of 9-11 events. It took several years for it to filter through to me that building 7 fell at free fall speeds 7+ hours after the towers. I've perused the NIST report dated 2008. I do understand the elaborate chain of events described therein and they sound very unlikely. I've heard some expert testimony questioning many of the premises and details NIST used to construct their report. I'm convinced the NIST report is unsatisfactory and that we owe it to the victims, their families and to ourselves to continue investigating. The bad guys are still out there. Their monumental arrogance and sociopathic mentality will continue to surface if we don't.

I am a retired professor, now emeritus, who taught Rhetorical Theory in the Communication Dept. at Pitt for 26 years until failing health made me in capable of carrying on my duties. I have also been actively involved in all manner of progressive political causes all my adult life. I was skeptical of the official government explanations of 9-11, the rapid removal of all evidence, the thoroughly prejudiced, indeed rigged, official inquiry, and the complete failure to convene a disinterested grand jury for a criminal investigation into who exactly carried out the attacks. I have been a supporter of 9-11 truth groups for the last ten years.
I was educated at Macalester College, St. John's College, the University of Chicago, the Eberhardt Karls Uni. in Tuebingen, Germany and the U. of Washington. I am now a retired professor who taught, among many other things, persuasion and propaganda theories just as 9-11 happened and then again in the run up to the disastrous war in Iraq. I was a tenured professor and taught 26 years at Pitt.
"It was obvious to me from the start that the official explanations for how the three WTC towers were pulverized was completely preposterous. The more I examined the matter the more it became clear to me that all three building demolitions were accomplished through the use of controlled explosive demolition thermate or nanothermite charges. It is even fairly clear now how the explosives were secretly placed into the three buildings which came down on 9-11. Thus the only question remaining, the one that none of our worthless journalists are investigating seriously even now, 20 years after the fact, is WHO exactly carried out the destruction of the towers, to which I can only suggest that it is very helpful to ask the primary question in such inquiries, namely, cui bono?
It is very difficult for me to comprehend how so many Americans can possibly still believe the official account of what happened on 9-11, especially in NYC, where the preposterous claims about all three massive, significantly over-built, well fireproofed, WTC steel-framed skyscrapers being completely collapsed, indeed pulverized into mostly dust in the case of WTC 1 and WTC 2, because of internal ""fires,"" most of which had been greatly reduced at the time of the collapses. The official account is simply risible and dogmatically refuses to consider much of the most important evidence coming from those who heard massive explosions in the basement stores area just before the fatal plane impacts, as well as from many firemen who observed and videoed the flow of molten metal running down the towers while a succession of further sprite explosions were heard and seen moving from top to bottom just as in a controlled demolition. As for WTC #7, the refutation of the official poor excuse for an account has now been thoroughly and meticulously refuted by the extensive U. Alaska Fairbanks inquiry under the auspices of one of the US's most respected architectural engineers."

The USA is a tightly controlled Country with unbreachable security measures, as far as external terrorists are concerned. I cannot understand how 'first in the world' security systems were violated by external terrorist actions and no aircraft fighters were in the air when the attack took place. It seems to me that the whole action was well orchestrated by internal, high ranked, security professionals who were in close secret cooperation with the external terrorists. I feel that if no such assistance were given to the terrorists, they wouldn't be able to carry out the appalling plan, and they would now be inprisoned in Guantanamo.

My educational background is in human factors and manufacturing engineering. So while not an architect or building engineer - I do have sufficient education to be able to assimilate multiple sources of evidence and come to the conclusion that the official explanation is not satisfactory.

I am convinced that the impact of the planes and the resulting fires cannot be the cause of the collapse of the WTC buildings. Many highly qualified architects and structural engineers have gone on record as declaring that these buildings were engineered to withstand major fires and the impact of a plane. Building 7 collapsed without being struck by a plane. Many witnesses testify that the fires in Building 7 were not wide-spread enough and severe enough to cause the collapse of the building. It is high time that a new, honest, and unbiased investigation of the collapse of the WTC buildings is undertaken.

In 2001, after watching videos of the collapse of the twin towers, I remember thinking that it was a very unusual collapse since it's such a 'clean' collapse and the buildings collapsed vertically even though the towers were hit on the side. Large airplanes striking tall towers and exploding can momentarily lead us to believe that it was the cause of the towers collapsing. However, the vast amount of evidence and testimony to the contrary clearly indicates demolition of the towers and building 7. Building 7 free-fall collapse and the hole in the Pentagon too small to fit the plane is irrefutable evidence of misinformation. I am more frightened by so many people unable to see that building 7 cannot collapse the way it did simply from a fire at one end of the building and that metal beams cannot disintegrate from burning fuel. It should not require a scientist or scientific investigations to see the truth in plain sight. If a government can get away with such obvious lies and destruction then there is no hope for humankind to remain free.

I believe that the destruction of the Twin Towers and building 7 was a controlled demolition and an in-side job, with the help of Israeli secret service using nano-thermite! That a new 'Pearl Harbor' was needed as a pre-text for attacking Iraq, may not be far from the truth! That also saved certain interested parties lots of money that an official demolition would have cost, since the asbestos in these buildings necessitated their demolition, anyway!!!

Modern steel buildings in the US should not uniformly crumble into themselves due to a jet impact. So far, officials have even ignored the question why even a building that wasn't hit by a jet or other external force, collapsed (WTC 7) on 9/11. Architects have thoroughly investigated the evidence and their results indicate that explosives were used to bring all three towers down. Who placed these explosives, and why? So far, the public has been kept in the dark about the facts and real reasons for this tragedy that killed thousands directly and in subsequent military actions. The people of this and other countries deserve the truth.

I have taught English language and cultural studies at the Universita degli Studi di Bari in Italy for the past 30 years. My doctorate studies are in philosophy of education, transforming consciousness.
I have never been much on conspiracy theory, they are generally exercises in speculative thinking that reach a conclusion based on previous convictions. That the WTC towers (3) came down on 9/11 is not in question. How they came down, what happened to the forensic evidence, and the case of building 7 all demonstrate that the causes and process of the destruction have not been fully examined. I do not imagine that I know what happened but having read the government report, it is clear that it is incomplete and does not answer key questions about the events. I am not interested in pointing fingers, I believe it is necessary to find out exactly what happened, only then we might ask the follow up questions of how and who. Before we know what actually happened, until all the events of 9/11 are fully and credibly documented and backed up by evidence where possible and best practice analysis, it is impossible to make any credible judgement.

I became suspicious of the NIST report and 'mainstream' depiction of 9/11 after viewing some videos and imagery of the California fires and the suspected DEWs in starting many of these fires, which led me to investigate other 'false flag' operations by US government and during these investigations (among others), I discovered AE911Truth.org.

The 9/11 investigations and reports (both commission and NIST), as they are, did in no way meet the quality standards for any publication in the scientific community. One has to wonder, if the low quality of the reports, and all the omissions, were the result of inability and lack of competence, or due to the desire to omit and hide relevant facts on purpose.
