PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

Formerly, I worked for 28 years for Eastman Kodak as a building design engineer, construction manager, construction division department head, and Corporate Real Estate Director. I am a mechanical engineer by education. Part of my training was in statics and dynamics. I participated in the design and construction of a 26 story high rise building. Additionally, I was licensed and taught Kodak management executives a proprietary process for problem analysis and decision making. As such, I am a logical thinker that reacts to data rather than emotion.
Because of my experience with the design of a box frame high rise tower, I have always (from day one) been troubled by the official explanation for the 9/11 building collapses. Based on what I know from my experience, these buildings could not collapse in the pattern that they did from the heat of a plane crash. Simply stated, it is not physically possible. I have kept my thoughts mostly to my self. But when my grandsons questioned the truth, I decided to look into the available data to help them form their own conclusions. I do not yet know - just as anyone else - exactly what was the cause. But I do know that the cause is not as supported by our government.

I am a licensed mechanical engineer with 20 years of experience in the areas of mechanical design and combustion.
I have spent a lot of time researching the WTC failure modes and the one conclusion I have drawn is that the official explanation fails to explain the events of 9/11. Some example questions I have are: 1) Where does the recent finding of the explosive thermite in WTC dust fit into the official explanation of the WTC collapse? 2)An open fire consisting of office debris and jet fuel will burn with a maximum temperature of ~1800F. (as a side note, on 9/11, the fire was much cooler as proven with the orange flames and black clouds of soot). It is well known that structural steel will lose ~1/2 its yield strength at 1800F. So my question is how does a structure designed to be 100 to 1000 times stronger than required fails when only 50% its strength is compromised? In other words, the structure would have had to lose over 99% of its strength to have failed when in fact worst case it lost only 50%. 4) What are the odds of all three buildings failing with the same symptoms and questions as outlined in questions 1 through 3? If someone can find answers to these questions that is supported by physics, I believe we will be heading in the direction of truly understanding what took place on 9/11.

I run heavy equipment and help in the planning of demolition of building and factories around the country and in Buffalo, NY I know what it takes to bring a building down, I am a 20 year member of local #17 of the Operating Engineers and often work for a national demolition company. I have worked at several nuclear facilities around the country including Connecticut Yankee, West Valley Demonstration Project and Rocky Flats.
I am 100% sure the official story is a planned made up fantasy! There is no way any of those buildings fell because of fires, it would take a lot bigger fires and a lot more time to drop one of those buildings -- like days not hours then when they did fall they would have dropped and contorted, not imploded. This was a planned demolition in all aspects, the planes were just a nice diversion from the truth and that is what these people fear the most!

It seems obvious the collapse of the twin towers and particularly WTC 7 was controlled demolition given the near free fall speed, debris pattern, eye witness accounts, presence of thermite and molten metal. The most recent NIST report, having taken 7 years to conjure, is a baseless, poorly reasoned case for a new phenomena known as thermal expansion. Totally implausible.

The collapse could not naturally occur along the path of maximum resistance at free-fall speeds unless it were a controlled demolition. Essentially, a solid cannot pass through another solid without being affected in someway (either speed or direction). The answer is to change the state of the solid being passed through into particles small enough as to not effect the path of motion of the other solid. By sequentially exploding each solid floor into dust, the collapse occurs at the same speed as if passing through empty air. Also, most photographs show unburnt paper, mixed with dust from the buildings debris. Where is the evidence of intense fire as in the official story? Wouldn't some of the paper at least have a charred edge or two?

Suspicious. Studying the videos and photographs, I noticed material flying out of the side of the building below where a floor would collapse onto the other. The firemen on the scene reported explosions before a fell onto another floor. To me it looked like a pre organized demolition. I studied the plans in an engineering class during the construction of the twin towers. It was built to withstand the impact of two of our largest jetliners. Due to the unique construction of the towers, it is absolutely impossible for them to fall in any way, let alone free fall speed.
