On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

The background of Robert Sogge is unique in that they include training, teaching, research and practical consulting in the specific area of soil-structure interaction. Specifically he has made significant contributions in the areas of anchored sheet piles, laterally loaded piles, reinforced mat foundations systems, and buried arch culverts. His thin-arch designs have been verified by full-scale HITEC tests on a 28 ft span structure. With partners he founded a design-build company to construct such structures.
As to the 'conspiracy' theory, I don't get into it ' instead, I look at the failure of just Bldg #7 that came down at 5:23 pm after only being hit by a small 40 ft by 40 ft section of steel beam. The building constructed of steel came tumbling down. I, as a designing Civil Engineer, would not want to design with such a material if that were the case. So it is said to have failed by 'progressive failure'. Where is the research, conferences and study on this topic. Where is AISC in defending their product as they always used to do in comparisons to concrete structures? Where are our professional groups like ASCE on this topic? I notice that ASCE sponsored a 'paper' on the Pentagon Bldg failure ' but the study was a joke in that concrete walls were replaced by columns in the analysis. When the Teton Dam failed in the late 70's, the cause of the failure was investigated. The failure generated much research and subsequent conferences on Hydraulic Fracturing ' the culprit. Thank you for finally creating a voice for those of us who would like to correct the facts for the public and preserve the profession we work in and love.

Have been in electronics for over 20 years. I was in the Army as an Avionics Equipment Repairer and hold over 2300 hours of documented work in an Aprentiship for Journeyman Electrician Radio Repairer, or something like that, with the Department of Labor. US Army 1988-1991. Have direct knowledge of how RF and the surrounding principals work. I held a N.A.B.E.R. (National Association of Broadcast and Educational Radio) for almost 10 years. Worked as an Assistant Engineer for several radio stations.
The evidence proves that 9/11 was not performed by merely 19 hijackers. The evidence proves that there is no way that ANYONE could have used cell phones to call people from those planes. The calls just would not have been successful. The plane is acting like a faraday shield and would prevent the signals from reaching the towers, especially with the plane over 4,000 ft and traveling over 200 MPH. The evidence also shows that there was thermite/thermate used in the destruction of the WTC's. The complete and utter destruction is not possible by a natural collapse, and it is not possible to destroy the lower columns completely as they become thicker and stronger the lower you go in the building. It's like a tree, it's bigger at the bottom to provide better support.

It indicates that the causes of the WTC building collapses have not been adequately studied to reach supportable conclusions about them. If further scientific studies should determine that controlled demolition was a real factor, the ensuing issues of 'how' and 'who' are fearsome questions.

Anomalies include: uncharacteristic free-fall collapse of buildings, hit or not hit by planes, complete destruction of buildings specifically designed to take impact of large airliners, never-before seen collapse of steel-frame buildings due to fire, persistent molten iron well beyond the temperature of burning fuel, projection of massive debris far from the towers, upward ejection of debris, complete pulverization of concrete and, it appears, even steel, evidence of thermate in dust plus the quick removal of twisted, severed steel columns from crime site. These are professional technical assessment issues specific to WTC 1,2&7. There are a multitude of other anomalies, and a chain of suspicious behaviors and subsequent hasty legal and foreign policy activities with suspicious basis, all which strip validity from all the ad-hominem attack arguments and scientifically untenable studies which have sought to discredit anyone honestly skeptical. Truth and reconciliation came to south Africa. In the land of the free and home of the brave, justice can and must be carried out. If the government story holds water, those who advocate it would only be vindicated and so no objection is reasonable.

I can see every day how a skyscraper is built. There is no way it could crumble like it was made of sand. Those buildings were full of explosives, and there's not enough energy in an airplane to do that kind of damage, is my opinion. Steel and concrete do not turn to dust at temperatures that were present. Additionally, the wasn't enough heat to bring down any of the builds. In my opinion, if the government can get away with this it can get away with just about anything it wants to do to us.

Controlled demolition is a strict design principle on keeping the structure within itself, a process of confinement when working especially within close bounds of other structures. I am focused on fact based evidence. Essentially steel and concrete do not fail in the way portrayed by the official reports. Failure of steel is ductile; it can soften and stretch, but doesn't fail like breaking glass unless extremely cold. A hydrocarbon fire (e.g. aircraft fuel) cannot produce enough energy to compromise an entire building. The building would have partially failed, and the lower unburnt floors would have provided a huge amount of resistance to collapse. The collapse certainly wouldn't have occurred at free fall speeds. Bottom line: Nanothermite? Explosives? Who knows. That's the point. A non-biased, open sourced investigation that actually includes the collapse of building 7 should be done. All computer models, assumptions and input data should be open to the public and subject to peer scrutiny. This is what is called 'science'. We could use a whole lot more of it. We need a truth and reconciliation commission. The people that died that day and are still dying deserve better.

Everything that I have viewed from both sides of this debate and countless documentaries convince me more and more every day that there is something wrong with the official explanation of events. Anyone who has a basic understanding of physics can look at any of the three building fall and know that is simply not possible at that rate. The explanation of the way that the towers fell (specifically the trusses failed) does not make sense to me as someone who has designed trusses.

"I recently watched a presentation on the History channel entitled ""the missing evidence."" It took the view that the whole thing was caused by two airplanes. I have never believed this, but I thought it was wise to watch another opinion by a leading Nuclear Physicist from the US and another expert from the UK. At first I was a bit unsure and that they may be some credibility to the 'Official NIST' version. As the experts got into their presentations it became obvious that they knew nothing at all about metals, in particular structural steels and aluminium. I have been employed in the Steel industry for over forty years and have made thousands of tonnes of Rebar grade on electric arc furnaces in the UK, Germany and Australia so I think I may know a bit about that stuff. I also know quite a lot about Aluminium melting and casting. When I heard what these two Experts had to suggest caused the failure of the twin towers I was staggered. How on earth can anyone who is supposed to educated in sciences come up with such rubbish? An interesting thing was that neither of them mentioned WTC7!"

9/11 was a highly complex, exquisitely orchestrated and scientifically technical operation carried out by extremely professional operatives. State of the art military equipment and highly competent personnel were employed to bring about the destruction of that which was engineered not to be destroyed. 19 barely trained Arabs who were not qualified to fly a single engine aircraft armed with box cutters performed maneuvers in airliners that would have made veteran combat pilots break out in a cold sweat and scored direct hits on their targets...? The evidence is overwhelming. 9/11 was NOT what we were told. The official version just doesn't make any sense. WTC 7, what made it fall like it did? The Twin Towers, blown to dust. By what action? The steel melted beams. How did they melt? How could these three buildings fall so fast, practically disintegrating on their way down? The world needs to know. The official version is obsolete.

I am a software engineer by trade and have studied metallurgy although not certified in any (structural) discipline.
I do not believe in the official explanation of the events of 9/11. I believe buildings 1, 2 and 7 were brought down by controlled demolition. I had visited WTC 2 several months prior to 9/11 and thought it odd that the elevators would not take me to all floors. At the time I believed that it was because the spaces were being built out, but now I believe that it would have been necessary in order to strategically place thermite charges. I believe a serious investigation is necessary.

For the past 12 years I've been directly involved in the fabrication of large scale industrial oilfield equipment. Specifically metallurgy and structural integrity, weldability, and compatibility of different grades steel.
On 9/11/2001 I was 15 years old. At the time I believed what I was told regarding the event. That 'bad guys' hijacked planes and crashed them into the towers causing them to collapse. However upon completing high school and college and entering the workforce I ended up in structural fabrication. After being surrounded by steel & fabrication for over a decade now, and conducting my own tests and experiments on fatigue and failure I've come to my own conclusion regarding the collapse of the two towers and WTC 7 which is seldom spoken about. I've researched the grades of steels used in the World Trade Centers construction, and found they were standard materials such as ASTM A36, and ASTM 242 among about 10 other grades. Knowing the yield point of the steel grades in question in addition to fact that melting point is around 2700F and that jet fuel burns at a maximum temp of 1500F, I can say with 100% certainty that it's physically and mechanically impossible that the steel was weakened to the point of collapse due to fire caused by the jet fuel weakening the steel beams (which were also coated with fire retardant). Granted plain Jane carbon steel and even HSLA steel can lose some of its strength at temperatures much lower than its melting point, but there were pools and rivers of molton steel. Fire just can't do that to steel. When we weld HSLA plate it had to be preheated for extended periods of time depending on the specific material. I'm talking about a propane rosebud placed an inch from the surface of a plate and burning at high temps for more than an hour just to prepare the piece for welding. Regarding WTC7, which I had never even heard of until about 3 years ago (thanks to AE911), it's unbelievably obvious that the building fell at free fall speed which would be impossible to do unless there were no lower floors adding resistance and slowing the fall. Meaning those lower floors of resistance had to have their structural support severed. At the very minimum the citizens of the United States, especially the victims and their families of 9/11 deserve an outside investigation of what really happened to the three buildings. I believe the two towers and building 7 are the only buildings in the history of modern construction that have been brought down due to fire.

Being a carpenter for some time and now a machinist, I have basic knowledge on structures and metallurgy. I have worked on and understand how large commercial buildings are constructed and built to be fire resistant and almost fireproof. With this knowledge I believe it is impossible that the Twin Towers and Building 7 were brought down due to fires.
It is quite clear that the three buildings on 9/11 were brought down in a controlled demolition. A proper and honest investigation on the events of 9/11 needs to be done so the world can know the truth.

I highly doubt the structural integrity of the buildings were heated beyond a yield point that would cause near free-fall speed of the towers' destruction.
