PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I have been a practicing electronics hardware engineer in the tech field in Silicon Valley ever since receiving a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of California Santa Barbara. Though the BSEE ultimately focuses on electronics, electronic devices, and materials, like most engineering degrees it also requires significant background study in physics, mechanics, and mathematics to sufficiently ground the recipient in the general discipline of engineering.
You hardly need college physics to show that the mechanics of NIST's collapse model doesn't fit the evidence collected on that day. A simple conservation of energy problem (taught in most high school treatments of mechanics) suffices. Take the twin towers for example: if the tops of the buildings accelerated towards the ground at the rate of free-fall, which I believe has been adequately established through video and seismic analysis, it follows that all of their stored gravitational potential energy is being expended accelerating their mass towards the surface of the earth. From whence came the energy responsible for dismantling the steel support structure below the falling mass then? How can one source of potential simultaneously be totally expended in the acceleration of mass earthward while also providing the energy to pulverize hundreds of thousands of tons of structural steel and concrete? It simply can't... and that's one of many reasons why NIST's explanation is totally unacceptable.

The very fact of the rapidity of the collapse in relation to conservation of energy and momentum defies all known physics. In addition the NIST report in relation to collapse initiation is faulty and opposes the known material properties of structural grade steel and the associated heat transfer processes.

There's simply too much to ignore or dismiss. Conjecture about the US Government being involved in the destruction on September 11th, 2001 is insensible, and ignoring new questions and scientific evidence is equally insensible.

I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in architecture from the Oxford School of Architecture, Oxford, UK. I then moved back to the US to work as an apprentice in the Master of Architecture program at the Frank Lloyd Wright School of Architecture, Scottsdale AZ. During this time, my interest in the connection between landscape and architecture grew. After spending a year as an apprentice, I met a multidisciplinary designer named Pliny Fisk in Austin, Texas. I then moved to work with Pliny on the Texas A&M solar decathlon project, and I eventually attended Texas A&M where Pliny was signature faculty in the architecture department. While completing my Masters degree in architecture, I constructed my off grid shelter in Tuscola, Texas near where I grew up. To AIA members who voted down AIA Resolution 15-6: Why wouldn't you investigate a circumstance indicating that current best practices in steel building construction are endangering the lives of everyone in and around the building? How could you assert that you are upholding the reasonable standard of care if NIST says that low temperature fires in steel buildings can and do lead to free fall collapse scenarios as seen in Building 7? While some of you may suspect that NIST is being deceptive, you may view the incidents of 9/11 as disconnected with your own life and practice. If so, you're wrong there. If you let building 7 go uninvestigated, you set the stage for a repeat scenario (and in so doing fail to uphold the professional standard of care), as it could be your building next. We don't know how to safeguard against the real threat until we investigate a circumstance and determine the cause. Anyone with university level education in architecture in the U.S. has no excuse for not demanding an investigation into the collapse of WTC 7 in the interest of improving design factors and codes for steel construction.

One does not need to be an engineer to see the twin towers and building 7 could not fall at free-fall speed without extra energy. The media kept saying steel does not need to melt (2750F) in order to be weaken to fall. The max temp of jet fuel of ~1350F, (fire was black, so ~300-600F, most of the fuel burned outside). At ~1600F, steel holds 50% of it's strength. And, I have read that skyscrapers are designed 10 times stronger than physically required. So, impossible even if you grant the highest jet fuel temperature. It is evident to the most simple-minded person that studies it for any length of time that it was completed by the government. Rumsfield stated on 9/10 that they 'lost' track of $2.3 trillion dollars. And, the Pentagon was hit in the very department that held on the staff and computers for audits. Now come on.

He had not yet heard that the two towers had collapsed, and couldn't believe, from the simple facts we knew at the time, that aircraft impacts could precipitate a collapse of the World Trade Towers. Soon the President announced names of the highjackers who had crashed the planes, and propagated the story of Al Qaeda as the terrorism perpetrators. Right, and a highjacker left a passport that survived the pulverization of the Towers! Too many plain tall tales and improbable explanations surround the circumstances of that day. Now we can begin to understand that, as Barry Zwicker's Towers of Deception book sketches out, the traumatic shock of the spectacular experience makes the mind need explanation, and the initial propaganda catapulted by Bush and the media that most people did accept as explanation even if tentatively, causes pain when contradicted by countering evidence. Statements of the A/E professionals here provide ample brief summary of that evidence.

I find it amazing that 2 high-rises with asymmetric damage both pancake into their own footprint in such a short time after impact. Why did they not topple over at the impact level? The collapse of WTC 7 was the most difficult to ignore for me. I live in NYC, was in Manhattan on 911, and was unaware until two years ago that this building collapsed. Although I am not an engineer I do have a science background and a forensic background. What was most galling to me was the poor way in which the forensic investigation was done. Tests that were not done, evidence that was destroyed. You assume that they will spare no expense to investigate this crime and then you learn otherwise.

The damage to all the WTC buildings at the World Trade Center complex could not have possibly been destroyed by two airplanes. The planes were supposely engulfed by the buildings and their airplane wings cut through concrete and steel beams like a hot knife through butter. There were obvious explosions which raced before the falling buildings which fell too fast even with explosive charges. Where did all the debris go and why were there no office items to be seen in the wreckage? This was an attack done from the inside. Those buildings just didn't fall down.

The destruction of the three buildings on 9/11 clearly needs a full, open public investigation. Many people are put off by people saying 'how can you do this to the poor families of those brave firefighters, the brave police, the regular office workers who were killed, how can you bring all this up again why don't you just leave it all alone and we can move on, leave it in peace, let them rest in peace'? There is no better way to honor the lives of these innocent men and women than to present the truth of what happened on 9/11. There is no other way that they and their families can have peace, for there is no peace without justice, and there is no justice without truth. We already know the official narrative of the events on that day is at best incomplete and at worse a fabrication and distortion of what actually occurred. The people demand justice in all areas of our collective life together, and the perpetrators of this crime must be exposed and brought to justice so that they can never again commit such acts of violence against humanity.

I would correct the mission statement above to read 'must investigate the obvious use of explosives'. What really happened on 9/11, is a mindlessly guarded American state secret. For future generations the question arises: are America's children to be brought up unquestioningly to believe in a physically impossible and world deranging myth - that hijacked planes brought down two structures built to withstand such impacts, and that a third building collapsed miraculously due to 'al qaeda' (?) office fires, though the CIA was also stationed in the third building - what a horrific farce! When the complete truth be told of 9/11 will go down in history as one of the greatest crimes against democracy. It's perpetrators are guilty of mass murder, deception, conspiracy to pervert the course of justice and guilty of initiating a reckless, destructive, fascist foreign policy bringing far greater harm to the American public than the wrongs the initiators thought to redress. America needs its own Perestroika! 9/11 truth is part of realizing this! It was totally unbelievable the coincidence and testimonials and just did not make any sense that some hijackers carrying box cutters could have flown commercial jets into steel buildings. The cover-up that followed was a disgrace. All the steel being immediately shipped to China. It was a professional demolition job orchestrated by the government and other foreign interest. Just look at the results and who benefited and you can find the ones that committed the crimes.

The pulverization of the two big towers cannot be explained by fire. Kerosene temperature does not reach the required melting temperature for structural steel. WTC 7 cannot collapse into itself without any visible damage to its structure before the 6.7 - 7.0 second collapse. Almost vertical and symmetrical collapse can only be achieved with expertly placed explosives charges. WTC 7 was not struck by any plane or other object. Minor fires in upper floors cannot cause a building to collapse. No high-rise building of this type has ever collapsed after a fire.

I am appalled that the 'nist' (I employ lower-case letters to show my disrespect) has chosen to overlook the physical evidence as well as verbal testimony concerning the destruction of towers 1, 2 and 7 on September 11, 2001. The Scientific Method would surely uncover the 'criminal' actions of some in the United States military/government . The evidence clearly shows that controlled demolition brought down the towers while killing 3000+ people.

After a year of research online it appears something is amiss. I did not believe the conspiracy stories at first. Then it was amazing to see nanothermite residues. And a engineering friend told me how MIT students in the early 60s 'welded a train' to the tracks as a prank using thermite they made at MIT. He worked for NASA and thinks Bush did the attacks with Israel. He thinks they must have known something we do not know and had to do the false flag attack in the nation's best interest. The Israeli students who lived there prior to the attacks looks like a good place to start an investigation. They were caught and records must exist on their activities.
