PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I've been working in the construction field for more than 3 years now, on an structural design approach, for public and private organization in Colombia. I studied six months structural steel design in Mexico as well.
We design buildings that can resist even the worst earthquakes. So, local fires due to an airplane crash can't cause enough energy to make a building literally disappear in a few seconds. So, I strongly believe that the WTC destruction was planned and caused by a different force, the same force we use to demolish an old building. I hope one day that those lives will be redeemed by the truth so they can finally rest in peace.

The fall of WTC 7 did it for me. The fact that BBC had announced it prior to the collapse, and that it had not been hit by any airplane. Then if fell perfectly...the third skyscraper that day that just fell perfectly into its own footprint. No way...Then the media blackout on that building and not a word in the commission report...WTC 7 was very obviously a controlled demolition and no one puts that together on the day of 911...It had to have been planned. Then about 2 years ago I watched some videos and read more info about American history that I absorbed much better than the brainwashing I was taught in school. Not even realizing at the time the buildings fell at nearly free-fall speed. You don't have to be a physics wiz to understand that! I'm ashamed that our political leaders are not in total outrage over the Commission's final report! That in itself is more of an atrocity than the day of 9/11. Until this is resolved America will live in shame! The evidence appears to be overwhelming. The videos don't lie...what they show us is TRUTH! I like so many others didn't realize a 3rd building had even fallen. When you watch and read and the dots start to connect...you will realize what the true meaning of ignorance is bliss really means. I have a BS in Computer Engineering from Tufts University Engineering School. I believe that everything has a scientific explanation, and anything that defies a scientific explanation is either bad science or something that is not yet conventional science. In other words, if science can't explain it, either the effect is something that exceeds current methods of scientific measure or your data is bad and/or your assumptions are incorrect.
Seeing that the collapse of all three WTC structures can be explained with classical chemistry and Newtonian physics, any evidence of molten steel would indicate that a form of combustion much hotter than the burning of jet fuel caused the failure of the steel structure. When approaching maximum oxidation efficiency, such as in the inside of a jet engine, jet fuel will burn at close to 1500 'C, however, fuel burning under normal atmospheric conditions, even with significant updraft, could burn no hotter than 1000-1100 'C. The melting point of high carbon steel is about 1350' C, depending on the specific alloy. Even with prolonged exposure to the the heat of that burn could cause steel to weaken enough for it to bend and collapse under its own weight, it would not produce 'rivers of molten steel'. That sounds more like something that would have been exposed to a much hotter flame for a short duration, such as thermite. A rapid burn would also better explain the collapse that resembles that of a demolition. It stands to reason that if the twin towers failed due to steel failure due to heat, it would have fallen at an angle as it would seem highly unlikely that the entire structure at the burn floor would fail simultaneously. What is harder to explain is the notion that the collapse of the twin towers not only caused the fire at 7 WTC, but that it was enough of a fire for the building to collapse as though it were demolished as well. Finally, there is the cold fact that none of the gold which was in the reserve at 7 WTC was recovered. Gold doesn't disappear regardless of whether it was melted or not. Put simply, there are just too many 'strange' facts in this incident for the standing explanation to be acceptable by any person of science, regardless of discipline. The fact that the report was rushed and debris was removed from the site with what can only be described as haste, one has to think there is more to the story. A lot more.

I am a Minnesota native and am politically active in my city precinct. I am also an architecture and engineering student through the Minnesota State College and Universities system. I recently published a book title Organized Chaos which outlines in detail how 9/11 could not have happened how the government said it did and how 9/11 is being used as a pretext to invade the countries of the Middle East to get the Military industrial Complex cranking and to convince the American people to give up their civil liberties in exchange for security.

I have built houses in 3 countries and been part of high rise condo buildings and we in the field know that if a plane hit a condo, it wouldn't fall like that. And these are made out of reinforced concrete, some steel (in comparison) and is built in a developing country (so not as advanced)!!

I was able to believe that a plane hit the twin towers, but could not comprehend any forces including localize heat at a high level that could bring the towers to collapse. I have never seen any explanation of why building #7 collapsed. In fact, I was not even aware that a third building had been destroyed ... based upon any mass media coverage. I only learned about the third building and evidence of explosive remnants years later. I know we have more to learn about what really happened.

As the dreadful events on 9/11/2001 unfolded I was keenly aware that I was watching a planned spectacle, much like the Kennedy assassination. It was poorly coordinated, in my opinion, because there were so many glaring inconsistencies with the common assumption that we were under attack (an opinion formed too quickly and too emphatically to evade close scrutiny), such as the very obvious fact that two jet planes under human pilot control could not strike such relatively narrow targets so consistently (the first one I almost accepted as blind luck, but when the second hit in just the same way I knew they were electronically guided). The really obvious thing for me was the ill-disguised detonations timed (poorly in my opinion) to suggest that it was the planes that brought down the towers when this was not possible. I remember remarking to my engineer colleagues that there was no way the buildings would collapse: They withstood impact and the thick black smoke was clear indication that the fires were oxygen-starved and relatively cool (well below the melting point of steel). Sounds of explosions could be heard over several news feeds, each building collapsed in a very rapid and controlled way, and the demolitions were performed too soon after the planes struck. A third building, much smaller than the towers, was brought down even though it was not hit. I am sure there were good reasons for bringing it down, but did the people who did this really think no one would notice?

The circumstances regarding the insurance policy taken for Bldg. 7, the statements made on record by emergency personel, reporters, and the owner of that bldg. all point to a pre-planned demo. Obviously the way it failed without being impacted pretty much proves that explosives were used. My obvious opinion is that this was without doubt a controlled take-down of the towers. Working in the steel industry for years, we all know that jet fuel cannot produce temperatures high enough to melt or weaken steel beams to the point of a total collapse. Debris of a collapse cannot fly upwards and collapse in free-fall speed - it is impossible! WTC #7 was not hit by a plane! WTC must have been demolished by explosives, as many eye witnesses testified. Beams were welded to the core, joints would rather have been broken by pancaking floors, than having impact on massive core columns to destroy them. The core should have remained, but it did not! The structure was calculated for hurricanes (category 5: 155 mph or 250km/h). Kerosine-fire cannot melt steel, only weaken it. Wind forces were far away from category 5 on 9/11.

Although I have studied electronics, and not construction I have still had many of the basic physics-courses offered by DTU. Although university level physics is not necessary to understand the very basic physical laws involved in the collapse of buildings. And in my opinion there is no doubt, whatsoever, that the official story - especially around building 7 - is invalid. When one starts to look at the evidence presented by my colleagues around the world, it becomes absolutely clear that a fresh, INDEPENDENT, investigation is necessary. Even if one subtracts the usual conspiracy-theories around such event, and even if only 10% of the evidence is valid, it is still more than enough to initiate another inquiry.

Modern steel-framed skyscrapers have never totally collapsed due to fire alone, much less at near free-fall speed in a straight-down fashion. The presence of numerous audible and visible small explosions lends credence to the theory that WTC 1,2, and 7 were all brought down by controlled demolition.

It seems from video tapes that there are many inconsistencies with the official Government opinion about this event.

I'm grateful to AE911 truth for upholding the principles of evidence based science that are consistent with those I encountered during my early undergraduate studies and training. Their questions are my questions and I believe that the institutional ethic is undermined by its implicit endorsement of the destruction of valuable data sets, its dismissal of independent inquiry and its bad faith deployment of institutionalised science to subvert the scientific method. The negligence of a single professional, be they medical, scientific or otherwise can result in a custodial sentence. The negligence of a generation of professionals may result in the loss of faith in evidence-based engineering as a tool for good. As such I feel that AE911Truth better represent me in what I was trained to be 'science' than the institutions do at present. I trust this situation will resolve itself eventually to the benefit of all as it always does, hence my membership.

Immediate suspicion of the 'official' narrative was allayed by BBC and media reports that special design features of the towers might have made them unusually vulnerable to aircraft impact. It was a couple of years before I learned that Building 7 came down in free fall. This information started me on a search for truth...David Ray Griffin's series of books on this topic have been my best source of well-referenced evidence.

Knowing the basics of structural engineering, controlled demolition appears to be one of the only explanations of why WTC building 7 fell--and possibly the towers. Building fires do not cause steel-framed buildings to collapse. I am unclear why the government would not want an independent scientific investigation involving some of the most respected architects and engineers to take place in the absence of solid conclusions drawn in the official 9/11 report.

I graduated in 1983 from the New Jersey Institute of Technology with a Bachelor degree in science and in civil engineering. I have been working in civil engineering/construction for over 22 years.My main area of work has been in infrastructure construction. I have built with concrete and steel and am very familiar with their physical properties.
It should be evident to all that buildings of such magnitude, which were built over a period of years, can not be brought down by fire and structural damage due to a small portion of these buildings in such a short period of time. (If at all!) The two World Trade Center buildings 1 and 2 were structurally damaged only in a small area compared to their over all foot print. If they were to collapse, it should have been an asymmetric collapse, centered around the corner of the building with most damage. The symmetric collapse of these buildings have been accomplished by other forces. The nature of the damage does not support the official theory. World Trade Center building no. 7, which was not hit by a plane, may have had small structural deficiencies, mainly due to office fire.This building (or parts of it) should not have collapsed under these circumstances.There have been many credible eye witness reports of explosions, as was also being reported at the time by the news media as well, coupled with other evidence, least of which being the apparent chemical foot prints of explosives found throughout the site.The official report is a white wash and a lie. We need a credible investigation by credible impartial parties to discover the truth and bring to the full light of public disclosure.

Never heard about building 7 till now. This is definitely a demolition job. I've taken static class, which is for mechanical engineers to understand how structures are supported in college, and from what I see in the video of that building coming down so synchronously, this must have been a controlled demolition.

This was obviously a controlled demolition. Videos of the collapse show a series of explosions blowing debris outward from the structures.

As an engineer, I can say the buildings collapsed via demolition. You will find a small handful of men who properly masterminded this or allowed it to happen. I'd like to know the truth about the 9/11 tragedy, what really transpired within, who shall be responsible for the lives lost, and when will the truth come out? Based on some technical and scientific analysts I've searched and seen on the net (testimonies and videos), it seems that the 9/11 tragedy was planned and executed almost perfectly (before, during, and after). This is evidently shown on the collapse (demolition) of Building 7 and mysterious flight 77 which allegedly hit and damaged the Pentagon. I believe everyone deserves to know the truth.

The many witnesses who heard a multitude of explosions coming from the Twin Towers, the unburnt Koran found in the street, the Arizona and Minnesota FBI reporting of Arabs taking 747 flying lessons before the attack, the fire inside and subsequent collapse of WTC7 after Mr. Silverstein said Pull it., the fairly quick removal of debris from the site before local authorities had a chance to examine the evidence, fuel fires are typically low temperature fires when steel needs 2900 degrees F to melt, and the hundreds of engineers and architects stating the bldgs. shouldn't have collapsed.

I am an engineer and was working at ground zero 9/11/2001, and witnessed the destruction of WTC 7. It was clear to me it was a controlled demolition. The fire department and NYPD were telling us it was coming down all day. There was no structural damage to the outside of that building, with fires from some of the windows on the 3rd floor. I saw this with my own eyes as I was working their on 9/11/2001.
