PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

How is it possible that such a massive structure with steel core, collapses by fire strictly vertically? How is it possible that material gets blasted out of the building so far if fire is the cause of the collapse? Why was there such a high temperature at the base of the building several days after 9/11? Why could comparable buildings resist fire over more time an did not collapse?

Past investigations of the WTC collapses were awash in the concealment and destruction of evidence, the suppression and coercion of witnesses, and the utter abandonment of all sound principles of criminal investigation ' in short, a massive obstruction of justice, certainly in the moral sense, and often in the legal sense, as well. As an American citizen, it is now obvious to me that American authorities cannot possibly conduct an unbiased investigation of this matter, because too many of them are already compromised by their own participation in this obstruction of justice. We therefore need an internationally based investigation, on the order of the Nuremberg trials, in order to find the truth and punish the culprits. Such an international investigative body must have full authority to examine all evidence, extract sworn testimony from all witnesses, issue indictments, and try, convict, and sentence the guilty. Because the events of 9/11 were used as a pretext for two international invasions and occupations, everyone worldwide ' and particularly the citizens of Afghanistan and Iraq ' also have a right to demand an unbiased international investigation of the crime and prosecution of the culprits. If such an event in another country were used as a pretext for invading the United States, we ourselves would demand nothing less.

From the day it happened, the WTC Building 7 collapse looked suspicious. Seeing the collapse for the first time seemed surreal and caused me to wonder how this building could possibly collapse and come straight down. There didn't seem to be sufficient damage to WTC Building 7 for it to collapse especially when considering that the entire building came down virtually within its own foot print. Therefore, if this was a planned demolition, then there is suspicion cast on the events of 9/11.

I'm a civil engineer and project manager for the FAA. I have 25 years experience building National Airspace System critical facilities, including the construction of air traffic control towers.
I have serious doubts about the cause of collapse of WTC 1 and WTC 2, as well as WTC 7. The indications are that they came down in a controlled-collapse manner, and this casts a dark shadow over the official published story. I have worked on projects involving controlled demolitions of decommissioned air traffic control towers. My opinion is that the twin towers and building 7 were brought down by controlled demolition, contrary to the official story.

I have experience in architectural design and management for commercial and residential projects. I remember being very surprised by the collapse of the Twin Towers after the planes struck. Despite the damage and fires, it did not seem possible. I also remember reports of Building 7 being evacuated because it was expected to come down from sustained damage. I accepted the explanations given by the media. It wasn't until years later that I started examining the research of experts on this and other websites and rethinking my discomfort with the official account. From an understanding of steel failure, I would expect any collapse to be gradual and asymmetric. If the official story were true, it would be a major embarrassment to the US design and construction industry that these towers failed so catastrophically, especially Building 7. I want to stand on the right side of history. We all deserve a real investigation with subpoena power, that explores every possibility.
