PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

Like many other professionals I'm concerned about the visual evidence of controlled demolition of the three WTC buildings seen on many videos. This concern is reinforced by Niels Harrit et al's recent scientific analysis of the dust from the site finding nano-thermite - an advanced military explosive. It is furthermore reinforced by Hamilton's ignorance of the fact that the collapse of building seven is not mentioned at all in the report from the 9/11 Commission as expressed in a Canadian TV interview. He apparently had not read his own report. What I find especially alarming is the claim put forward by former Vice president Dick Cheney that an even greater similar catastrophe will happen again soon and then with nuclear explosives. This might become a terrible reality if a real investigation is not performed soon and the truth brought to the surface.

My instant reaction, on seeing the Twin Towers destruction was: 'My God!! It is definitely a controlled demolition'. Only a few months ago, I had seen with my own eyes the controlled demolition of a multi-storied Fulton Skyscraper, at Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.' I am now convinced that 9/11 was an insiders job and fear that one of its' consequences is to put the world's 1.25 billion Muslims on a collision course with the Western world.

I was very traumatized. I later was informed of the propaganda through TV and public discourse. I always felt the blame did not fit, that the attacks by Muslims was incorrect. But just being a gut feeling and busy with life I suppressed these feelings. After the initial report came out my feelings strengthened to action and I investigated more. Looking back I found the basis of my doubts. The buildings collapsed in a way that my mind could not accept. With my knowledge of steel the official story could not be true. Then, seeing the Pentagon damage, I was convinced knowing that a plane cannot crash through walls and have enough velocity to crash through several more walls . I personally do not want to leave this event open for my children to wonder about as was done with the JFK assassination for my generation.

The WTC7 collapse was actually reported before it happened by the BBC. On 9/11 Newton's Third Law of Motion, which says 'To every action there is always opposed an equal reaction', was violated. There was no opposing and equal reaction in the collisions of the airplanes with WTC 1 & 2. There was no opposing and equal reaction in the collision of the commercial aircraft in Pennsylvania. How many times in the history of flight have aircraft flown directly into the ground and vanished? The 'Official' 9/11 Report makes no mention whatsoever of WTC 7. All three buildings collapsed in a free-fall manner. No pancake type collapse as the Government claims. New investigation must have authority to initiate prosecution of those responsible for events on 9/11, and the investigation must NOT be done by government cronies, present or previous politicians, or anyone with a history of being a war monger.

Buildings designed to withstand aircraft collision are unlikely to collapse at free-fall speed, or disintegrate into dust, from energy imparted by collision with an airplane. To my knowledge, no other steel-framed building has burned down, prior to 9/11. Surely the events of 9/11 should be subjected to honest, independent scientific investigation.

Personally i believe that the planes could not have possibly caused the buildings to collapse as they were designed to stand even if a Boeing 707 crashed in them. These two events for me are linked - 9/11 attacks as a reaction to forthcoming global oil shortages. One of the most compelling pieces of evidence that the events of 9/11 have not been truthfully explained is the collapse of WTC building 7. From the unusual commentary by Larry Silverstein, to the dramatic similarities of actual controlled demolitions, to the existence of nano-thermite particles found in dust samples, to the lack of documentation by official sources, the collapse of WTC building 7 has not been adequately explained. The collapse of WTC building 7, and buildings 1 and 2, therefore, must be re-investigated.

I grew up in NY on long island. I worked in Manhattan, on 5th avenue, when I was young and then started traveling. I worked hard and earned a degree. I was in NY when the towers went down. From day 1 I thought it was an inside job. There is no way that 3 buildings would fall down, free fall, especially wt7 building. My sister in laws twin brother, who had been retired, was called to help out on that fatal day. He was an expert in getting people out of burning buildings. My daughter was living in the downtown NYC area on 9/11. She insisted that the area had been declared 'safe', to which I answered, They are lying! If the city and federal governments lied about the air quality, endangering the lives of hundreds of thousands of people, why should we trust their veracity re the collapse of the towers? Clearly calming the masses took priority over investigating the actual event. The removal and disposal of the debris calls to mind the fact that the car in which JFK was assassinated was flown back to DC and scrubbed down, removing all possible evidence. I first became suspicious about the the 9/11 attacks the day after on 9/12 when the Vice President, Dick Cheney stated on camera that there would be no independent inquiry, and that any inquiry would be done by the White House. Because of the severity of the attack and the prominent world wide coverage that it was getting this seemed like a very suspect course of action for the White House to take. A few years later I came across a news story that referred to a study of samples from the wreckage at ground zero done by Professor Steven Jones, a physicist working at Brigham Young University. He claimed to have found traces of vaporized steel in the samples he took from ground zero and pointed out that aviation fuel and the things found in an office don't burn at temperatures high enough to vaporize steel. It was at this point that I became pretty sure that 9/11 was probably an inside job. I'd already read Project For A New American Century so I knew something was wrong. I started digging and haven't stopped since then.
In the history of the world, no steel skyscraper has ever collapsed due to fire. On 9/11, the official story claimed that three did. The buildings collapsed in almost free fall speed, the top of the buildings plunging through thousands of tons of concrete and steel as if it weren't there. They fell almost symmetrically, imploding in on themselves, creating great clouds of dust. The concrete was pulverized, the steel supports cut and vaporized and traces of nanothermite, a high-tech incendiary used by the military and demolition companies to increase the heat generated in explosions were found in the dust. Eye witnesses have stated that they heard a series of explosions in these buildings and that after they collapsed pools of molten metal could be seen beneath the wreckage 4 and 5 weeks after the attacks. These facts indicate that the World Trade Towers and Building 7 were brought down by controlled demolition and not as a result of structural failure due to fire.

I have been a community college instructor for 15 years; my wife and I have also been involved in real estate investment and property management for 25 years (continuing).
At the time of the events, I thought the destruction of the towers was too sudden and explosive and complete to be the result of fire. But having no experience with steel frame buildings, I had no way of analyzing what had happened. Later I saw the photos of sheered off support members and learned that a BYU physics professor had identified thermite in the debris of the buildings. And I saw the films of building 7 falling in the rapid, uniform way that controlled implosions go down. The whole thing made no sense. It looked like deliberate destruction. So I am glad to see that professional architects are addressing these questions at last.

I am a 59 year old teacher who has been investigating the events of 911 on my own. As I attempt to put the facts together, they simply do not add up. It concerns me that so many Americans do not believe the official story. I believe that we will eventually discover the truth.
There are so many inconsistencies in the official 9/11 investigation that another investigation needs to be gotten underway as soon as possible. Americans must know the truth of this day. Questions I have specifically are why was Norad nowhere near Washington the day of the attack, how were cell phone calls made from such high altitudes when it was not technologically possible at that time, why were certain people told not to fly on that day ie Willie Brown of San Francisco and why were the remains of the event sent off to Europe so quickly? How is it possible that the steel beams melted at temperatures far less than that known to melt steel, why was such an enormous amount of insurance placed on the buildings right before the events?

My spontaneous answer was that I was now very worried what the administration would do. I think the U.S. government's official theory about the causes of the collapses of buildings at the World Trade Center is obviously a lie.
