PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

We need to know what kind of world we live in.

I've worked in Spain and Taiwan, and I now have my own business in the US.
It was clearly a controlled demolition in all 3 buildings: WTC 1, 2, and 7. Nothing can drop to earth at the same acceleration as the acceleration due to gravity, if it has 50,000 tonnes of steel and concrete beneath it, between it and the earth. The top portion of each of the WTC twin towers fell at freefall acceleration and hit the earth in freefall time. This is a scientific impossibility under normal circumstances obeying the physical and scientific laws of nature. The only way this could physically happen following the physical and scientific laws of nature, the way we see it occur, is if the remaining portions of the buildings (floors 1~90) below the impact points, were invisible or just simply not there at all to begin with, so that when the top portion of each building began to collapse, so they could reach the earth, from the height they were at, in the time it took to reach the earth, in just under 10 seconds, is if there was absolutely nothing at all except thin air between the top portion of each twin tower and the earth. Except the floors 1~90 were there; they were not invisible. Therefore the only logical explanation is if the 50,000 tonnes of steel and concrete of floors 1~90 must have been intentionally removed out of the way extremely fast enough, such as to allow the top portions of the twin towers to reach earth at freefall acceleration from the height they were at, in just under 10 seconds. Thus, by deductive reasoning, the only possible explanation, to allow this to happen, is if the 50,000 tonnes of steel and concrete of floors 1~90 must have been intentionally demolished and pulverized in a controlled demolition by either extremely potent explosives or by some sort of high energy weapon, that basically disintegrated the 50,000 tonnes of steel and concrete of floors 1~90, which would then allow the top portions of the twin towers to reach earth at freefall acceleration, from the height they were at, in just under 10 seconds. The exact same phenomenon is the only logical explanation that would explain the collapse of WTC 7, i.e. a controlled demolition of building WTC 7, which also collapsed at freefall acceleration, even though it was never hit by an airplane.

Buildings designed to withstand aircraft collision are unlikely to collapse at free-fall speed, or disintegrate into dust, from energy imparted by collision with an airplane. To my knowledge, no other steel-framed building has burned down, prior to 9/11. Surely the events of 9/11 should be subjected to honest, independent scientific investigation.

Personally i believe that the planes could not have possibly caused the buildings to collapse as they were designed to stand even if a Boeing 707 crashed in them. I have heard how witnesses have said that explosions could be heard in addition to all the evidence provided by your movement. In my opinion the collapses were a result of a controlled demolition.

I became aware of the anomalies surrounding the events of 9/11 in 2005 after an initial period of research into the issue of global peak oil production. These two events for me are linked - 9/11 attacks as a reaction to forthcoming global oil shortages. One of the most compelling pieces of evidence that the events of 9/11 have not been truthfully explained is the collapse of WTC building 7. From the unusual commentary by Larry Silverstein, to the dramatic similarities of actual controlled demolitions, to the existence of nano-thermite particles found in dust samples, to the lack of documentation by official sources, the collapse of WTC building 7 has not been adequately explained. The collapse of WTC building 7, and buildings 1 and 2, therefore, must be re-investigated.

I grew up in NY on long island. I worked in Manhattan, on 5th avenue, when I was young and then started traveling. I worked hard and earned a degree. I was in NY when the towers went down. From day 1 I thought it was an inside job. There is no way that 3 buildings would fall down, free fall, especially wt7 building. My sister in laws twin brother, who had been retired, was called to help out on that fatal day. He was an expert in getting people out of burning buildings. (he had died since of a heart attack) I never believed bin laden had anything to do with it. Please keep working to prove this was an inside job...

My daughter was living in the downtown NYC area on 9/11. She insisted that the area had been declared 'safe', to which I answered, They are lying! If the city and federal governments lied about the air quality, endangering the lives of hundreds of thousands of people, why should we trust their veracity re the collapse of the towers? Clearly calming the masses took priority over investigating the actual event. The removal and disposal of the debris calls to mind the fact that the car in which JFK was assassinated was flown back to DC and scrubbed down, removing all possible evidence. I was born in Scotland and studied at Glasgow University. After leaving the UK, I lived in Italy, the USA and now live in Thailand. I teach English Literature at a high school in Bangkok and have been teaching English language and literature for the past 10 years. I've taught in Universities, language centers and most recently a high school. I first became suspicious about the the 9/11 attacks the day after on 9/12 when the Vice President, Dick Cheney stated on camera that there would be no independent inquiry, and that any inquiry would be done by the White House. Because of the severity of the attack and the prominent world wide coverage that it was getting this seemed like a very suspect course of action for the White House to take. A few years later I came across a news story that referred to a study of samples from the wreckage at ground zero done by Professor Steven Jones, a physicist working at Brigham Young University. He claimed to have found traces of vaporized steel in the samples he took from ground zero and pointed out that aviation fuel and the things found in an office don't burn at temperatures high enough to vaporize steel. It was at this point that I became pretty sure that 9/11 was probably an inside job. I'd already read Project For A New American Century so I knew something was wrong. I started digging and haven't stopped since then.
In the history of the world, no steel skyscraper has ever collapsed due to fire. On 9/11, the official story claimed that three did. The buildings collapsed in almost free fall speed, the top of the buildings plunging through thousands of tons of concrete and steel as if it weren't there. They fell almost symmetrically, imploding in on themselves, creating great clouds of dust. The concrete was pulverized, the steel supports cut and vaporized and traces of nanothermite, a high-tech incendiary used by the military and demolition companies to increase the heat generated in explosions were found in the dust. Eye witnesses have stated that they heard a series of explosions in these buildings and that after they collapsed pools of molten metal could be seen beneath the wreckage 4 and 5 weeks after the attacks. These facts indicate that the World Trade Towers and Building 7 were brought down by controlled demolition and not as a result of structural failure due to fire.

I have been a community college instructor for 15 years; my wife and I have also been involved in real estate investment and property management for 25 years (continuing).
At the time of the events, I thought the destruction of the towers was too sudden and explosive and complete to be the result of fire. But having no experience with steel frame buildings, I had no way of analyzing what had happened. Later I saw the photos of sheered off support members and learned that a BYU physics professor had identified thermite in the debris of the buildings. And I saw the films of building 7 falling in the rapid, uniform way that controlled implosions go down. The whole thing made no sense. It looked like deliberate destruction. So I am glad to see that professional architects are addressing these questions at last.

I am a 59 year old teacher who has been investigating the events of 911 on my own. As I attempt to put the facts together, they simply do not add up. It concerns me that so many Americans do not believe the official story. I believe that we will eventually discover the truth.
There are so many inconsistencies in the official 9/11 investigation that another investigation needs to be gotten underway as soon as possible. Americans must know the truth of this day. Questions I have specifically are why was Norad nowhere near Washington the day of the attack, how were cell phone calls made from such high altitudes when it was not technologically possible at that time, why were certain people told not to fly on that day ie Willie Brown of San Francisco and why were the remains of the event sent off to Europe so quickly? How is it possible that the steel beams melted at temperatures far less than that known to melt steel, why was such an enormous amount of insurance placed on the buildings right before the events?

I have followed the 9-11 disbelief of the official story since the beginning when my principal told of the planes hitting and asked me what I thought. My spontaneous answer was that I was now very worried what the administration would do. I believed the Bush/Cheney election had been stolen in the first place and so this event seemed like another con job on the American people. The evidence has borne this out.

I think the U.S. government's official theory about the causes of the collapses of buildings at the World Trade Center is obviously a lie.
