PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

this space is too limited to list all of the structural issues and laws of physics/nature that have been violated by the official story, let alone go into the non-physics related issues (ie motivations, who was involved, etc). however i will state as follows: i often ask people 'how many buildings came down on 911 in New York?'. when the answer is (almost always) 2, i then ask them 'why the did not know about the 47 story building, which was not hit by a plane, yet it collapsed approx. 7 hours after the twin towers'. Even with this fact, they still cannot accept that the media has withheld the truth from them and it seems that they wish to remain (willfully) ignorant. As many others have stated, this is the definitive smoking gun. It is impossible for an unoccupied building, which only has 2 very small fires, to collapse. 2 points which i have not seen raised to date: If the pancake theory is correct, then as each floor truss disconnects from the steel RHS columns (both the ~47 core columns and the ~200 perimeter columns), it would mean that the columns should have remained in one complete length (ie over 100m/300 feet long) and as the building was demolished, oops I mean collapsed due to planes hitting them, the columns should have at least remained erect (especially the core) for that height. Or they should have fallen onto the adjoining buildings, at 100m long, causing major damage (in a plan view leaving a shell type of appearance, or like holding a bunch of straws vertically and letting them fall). Second, in the docs I have seen to date, I have not heard anybody talk about the actual floor loads on the building floors, just prior to collapse/demo. As an engineer, I know that every building on earth is basically designed to support floor loads (usually live, furniture/equipment & dead). A 'factor of safety' is included in the design, thus making the completed structure easily able to remain erect, even if each and every floor was loaded to its capacity (ie the building was jam packed with people in every room on every level and each floor was loaded with the maximum amount of furniture weight). Yet the twin towers were nowhere near their floor load capacity, just prior to collapse, (many people didn't go to work that day and many people managed to exit the building prior to collapse, (I don't know the official number of people that each floor could support)), and no people were present in WTC7!!! So, the issue is; How is it possible for empty (or almost empty) buildings, which are not subject to the live load component and hence not experiencing stresses anywhere near their elastic limits or ultimate limits, collapse at free fall speeds, as a result of fire?

I have read several books that discussed the questions regarding the collapse of all the buildings, including #7, 5 hours later after the owner called for it to be pulled. The Buildings did not collapse they exploded! Thanks to Richard and all the other professionals that can explain why that happened. When I watched those buildings turn to dust the first thing I thought was they were blown up and I was not the only one. All the news stations were saying the same thing. Then a day later all I herd was that they collapsed due to the fire and I believed it. Going back and watching the towers explode again and then listing to Richard made me realize that there is no way that these building did not have explosives in them. I did not even know about building 7! We were lied to and the truth about the way those buildings exploded is undebatable. How else could that 47 story skyscraper (that was not hit by a plane) turn into dust? I watched, on television the collapse of the twin towers on 9/11/01. To my intelligent citizen's eye the collapse looked like a planned demolition, not the result of a collision of an aircraft with the buildings. I agree that the manner in which the 9/11 events took place should be questioned further... The collapse of the buildings hit was not logical, given the historical precedents of building construction; there is evidence on film to suggest that more was happening behind the scenes than a terrorist attack - that the government itself may have been complicit, in order to trigger further events advantageous to its foreign policies.

I have been interested in architecture and visual art for as long as I can remember. I first saw the WTC at the age of five. On September 11, 2001, I had been home from New York only a month after studying visual art at NYU. I found the collapse to be fascinating and extremely disturbing. The events of that day stay with me as they remain with all of us who watched them unfold. The reports from what is known as Ground Zero, never made much sense at the time. Everyone was in a state of disbelief. Now that some time has past and the distance from the tragic events are slightly more distant, we can be objective. My critical mind and intelligence guide my signature.

Knowing what I know about how metal reacts to force and after seeing the explosions from the towers before and during the destruction, I knew we were lied to. We have no option but to have a thorough, fully independent investigation of the event and prosecute the individuals responsible for the planning and the cover-up after.

I hold an undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and two graduate degrees from the University of Washington and the University of Oklahoma. Although I am neither an architect, nor a structural engineer, a thorough review of the very large number of sources on the Internet have demonstrated to me that the US government and the national and international press have failed in their mission to inform the citizens of the United States and world at large in a manner that accurately describes the events of September 11, 2001. In light of the way in which these events have been used to justify other subsequent events on the world stage I urge most enthusiastically a more thorough investigation with the full force of national and international law into the events of 9/11.
