To the Members of the House of Representatives and of the Senate of the United States of America,
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I started my working career as a piano technician. I went through the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard Machinist Apprenticeship. Later got a BS in Mech E from Seattle University, then spent 4 years with Boeing as a Liaison engineer in the Wing Responsibility Center. Finally worked 16 years with US Navy as a Nuclear/Radiological engineer.
The NIST scenarios are not believable. The WTC 1 collapse is equivalent to crushing two US Nimitz class nuclear carriers in 10 seconds, given that they have about the same amount of structural steel. It's simply not possible. The NIST explanation for the WTC7 collapse is even more ludicrous. Their model shows massive failure at the back of the building, but somehow that doesn't distort the glass windows on the front of the building. I used Working Model 2D to model the effects of the conservation of momentum on WTC1. It showed that the upper stories would be significantly slowed by impact with the lower stories, adding several seconds to a free fall collapse, which takes it outside of the actual collapse time. Ergo, the lower floors were already falling when they were hit by the upper floors. Frankly, I'm extremely disappointed by the almost total lack of curiosity displayed by most of my working colleagues over the years. Lots of really smart guys who lacked the courage to ask a few rather obvious questions.

In fact, in Structural Engineering classes at Montana State, the scenario of an airliner hitting one of the WTC Towers was actually studied, (and determined to be safe). The professor discussed that this scenario was actually considered in the design of the towers, and they were designed to withstand it.

We must recall, or learn, that Dick Cheney made NORAD stand down during the attacks; that the Air Force was running drills simulating the attacks while they were happening, that missiles hit the Pentagon and the field in Shanksville, PA; that nanothermite residue and molten steel were found in all three NYC buildings' rubble, that jet fuel does not burn hot enough to melt steel, that all three WTC towers collapsed in on themselves as near free-fall speed, that witnesses recorded during and after the attacks consistently reported hearing multiple explosions in all three buildings, that the BBC reported the WTC collapse 20 minutes before it occurred, that Larry Silverstein got rich off of freshly acquired insurance policies on the buildings, that Mayor Guiliani ordered the crime scene evidence to be bulldozed and shipped overseas, that the official 9/11 Commission Report never mentioned WTC 7, that Osama Bin Laden was immediately identified as the boogieman culprit and that mainstream media hyped Americans into a fear frenzy that allowed the Hitler-esque Patriot Act to install the command and control police state which we now endure at home, while we pay for endless wars on terror with our liberty, labor, and lives.

Since last year I have not been following the main stream media and watched a lot of documentaries on the internet via Youtube etc. This is how I got to know the Truth movement. I also watched the documentary of Naomi Wolf (Ten Steps) and War on democracy by John Pilger. Combined the two documentaries reveal a lot about the US and also what is going on in The Netherlands. I am currently an associate professor of Mathematics at the Del Norte campus of the College of the Redwoods. My B.S. and M.A. degrees were earned at the University of California at Davis. My review leads me to believe WTC 1, WTC 2 and WTC 7 could not have collapsed as the NIST and FEMA have concluded. The energy necessary to turn the concrete to powder as the buildings fell was not present in the fuel and gravity present. The conclusions of NIST and FEMA cannot explain the columns breaking into relatively short lengths. We cannot be certain we have identified all the conspirators in 9-11 unless we know how the buildings fell.

It is physically impossible that the towers were brought down by a single airplane. I remember watching the news the day it happened and all the news reporters were saying that the collapse was caused by explosives in the building. You can see explosives going off on the news footage. So many first responders have become sick. They have been exposed to a toxic substance. There is much deadly toxic smoke rolling out of the building almost immediately. The fire was too intense. The destruction was too immense, the devastation was too great. Afterward, the American people were brain washed. The speech made by Bush that evening should be enough proof in itself. Looking back, there was no investigation and too much certainty about what happened and who was responsible, they couldn't have known that, too much mystery, too much propaganda, too much Patriotism ??? shoved down our throats, esp. in our schools and to our children Nothing was left and the ashes were completely disposed off, yet they found the ID card of one of the terrorist in perfect condition. I saw this on the news that very night. All the stories of the brave citizens that overtook the plane in the air and nothing was left but a black hole in the ground. No bodies were recovered yet calls were made from cell phones from planes traveling at such record speeds. I bought it at the time even though I knew there was something off about it but looking back it amazes me that anybody could believe such outright fantasy and not demand answers. It is really an insult to anybody who has eyes to see and a brain to think with, everything about it is fake, they didn't even take the trouble to try and make it believable, they did a cheap and shoddy job in even trying to cover it up. There is so much more but this is enough.

I teach 7th grade Social Studies - early US history, including the Constitution - to youngsters in Westchester County. We followed the Congressional debate on the Patriot Act -- and how Congress was balking (Separation of Powers in action!) -- until Congress was targeted in the anthrax attacks. Specifically, democrats Leahy & Daschle, were targeted. Then Congress fell neatly into line.
Jupiter Yambem, killed at the North Tower on 9/11, was my neighbor and friend. Other acquaintances who worked at the WTC told me how, the Thursday before, the explosives-sniffing dogs were suddenly removed. That weekend, bank employees were told they would have to reboot their computers on Monday (9/10) because, over the weekend, all electricity was to be shut off. I remember on 9/11 Larry Silverstein on TV saying they decided to take down Bldg 7 because there's already been such a loss of life. On that day, it seemed reasonable to demolish the building. That's how I took it, and clearly what he meant.

I have been actively involved in art/history/cultural museum work and public school teaching for over 45 years, mostly in northern California. I am mostly concerned about the speed at which the official investigations took place and the rapid rate the debris was removed. Granted, a return to normalcy is attempted by a rapid clean-up but a more thorough closure could be anticipated for the victims' families, and the country as a whole, and would be better served if the evidence hadn't been removed so fast providing for more thorough analysis. I just don't believe the official story is the official story.

For me, WTC 7 is the game-changer on 9/11. Before I became aware of this third collapsed tower, I believed some within our government had allowed the attacks to occur, but the idea that the buildings had been demolished by explosives seemed implausible. The incredible collapse of WTC 7 opened my eyes. After attending a national social studies teachers conference in San Diego in '08, I realized that even among these teachers 80-90% had never even heard of WTC 7. The more that one studies the unprecidented collapses of the three towers, the more preposterous the official explanation becomes...With JFK's assassination, we were asked to believe in magic bullets--now with 9/11, we're supposed to believe in magic buildings...

However, like anyone else with common sense and critical judgment, I can recognize a strong argument when I hear one. Although I quickly dismissed the numerous conspiracy theories I've heard over the years, the evidence presented by AE911 Truth was compelling enough to hold my interest and troubling enough to encourage my taking action. It is my sincerest hope that the efforts of this organization will be successful in obtaining justice and restoring peace for all who have been so deeply affected by this clearly controversial tragedy.

I am an Art Teacher, with a 22 year long career, at Hendrick Hudson HS, in Montrose, NY, 10548. I do volunteer work in the community where I live, Ossining, New York, and outside of it too.
Clearly it was a demolition job and we are not being told the truth. This destruction was not from the planes' fuel. I don't really know if this was a way to make us go to war but when we went in, I could not connect the dots from this act, to war. It didn't make sense to me and yet it was considered unpatriotic to say so. I remember Joyce Carol Oates writing about the war's connection to oil in The New Yorker, and that's all that made sense to me. Hearing now how George Bush's brother's company benefitted from the towers' collapse, if this is indeed true, is really chilling. So many lives lost. Obviously real answers are needed.

If there is reason to believe that explosives were used inside the building, this would mean something truly atrocious. We should not forget that 9/11 was the straw that broke the camel's back for starting the war in Iraq. So it could be that this war was started and is still continuing on false grounds. There are far too many inconsistencies from the reporters and eye witnesses to the damage caused by the airplanes. The camera shots of the twin towers do not add up. There was no plane in front of the Pentagon. The statements from people at the Pentagon and witnesses do not add up to the report. There is absolutely no reason why Building 7 collapsed.

I have no professional expertise other than study of basic physics, but after repeatedly viewing the collapses of the Twin Towers and Building 7, it is clear to me that the airplanes could not have caused the buildings to collapse in the way they did. They fell straight down upon themselves without resistance. These were a controlled demolitions.

I am a sculptor's assistant. We build large steel sculptures so I have some experience with the physics of building contraction.
Two things: Building do not implode on themselves without help. They do not crumble to tiny pieces if a large object hits them, particularly the building that did not get hit. Either the buildings were so poorly made in the first place that they were an accident waiting to happen, or something is terribly wrong with this whole scenario. Why were the ruins removed so quickly.
