PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

After earning a BS in Electrical Engineering from Montana State University in 1978, and an MBA from Columbia University in 1983, I've have had a 40+ year career operating my family's small telecom utility business in Western Montana.
I now believe the official explanation for the tragic events on 9/11/01 was clearly implausible, certainly incomplete and most likely a criminal deceptive fabrication. All three towers collapsed in close to free fall precisely into their footprints. It was the collapse of Building 7, which dropped with precise symmetry 7 hours after the twin towers fell, officially claimed to be caused solely by fire in the lower floors, that shattered any credence I had previously given to the official story. Specifically, when I also learned not a single similar steel frame skyscraper had ever collapsed anywhere from a similar fire alone, this juxtaposition of implausible claims convinced me the entire narrative was most likely a preposterous and criminal fabrication. Building 7 fell exactly as if it was carefully prepared in advance with explosives for a controlled demolition. Controlled demolition is the only plausible cause for Building 7 to collapse as it did. Explosives had to have been placed prior to the attack, further indicating the official narrative was preposterous. These, and the many other anomalies in the official story, demand a new, independent and honest investigation

As a mathematics major early in college, I attended physics/energy and introduction to engineering classes. I haven't received a degree in these disciplines, but I have some relevant education and have great respect for engineers and architects in general. I've attended symposiums at USC for sustainable design with architects and engineers in recent years. My related technical experience lies mostly in utilizing math to create expressions to animate computer-generated objects as a visual effects artist. I support the call for an accredited scientific investigation of 9/11.
If the laws of physics are true, and can be interpreted correctly to mean that a multi-level structure cannot collapse at the free fall speed of gravity without first having the underlying support structure removed faster than the free-fall speed of gravity...then we have a strong case for controlled demolition on visible evidence alone with Building 7.

The video of the actual collapse of the building shows the building collapsing while intact. The NIST model does not represent the reality of the collapse. Therefore, NIST model assumptions were wrong somewhere. In addition to that, the collapse of one major column would not cause the whole building to collapse, and if it did, it will not collapse symmetrically.

The tragedy to the American people on September 11, 2001 with the collapse of 3 buildings at the World Trade Center in NY, NY that took several lives was deliberately allowed to happen by President George W. Bush, Vice President Dick Cheney and others to justify going to war. This is an act of treason taking a country to war just like it was by Nazi Germany prior to World War 2 that was based upon a lie. Many within the military-industrial-petroleum complex wanted to go to war against Iraq and Saddam Hussein because they are use to getting several million dollars worth of contracts annually and could not tolerate having that public money being spent for other American needs. Americans should know that Saddam Hussein was a Central Intelligence Agency recruit so that the US would have easy access to oil and natural gas just like it was done with Iran years prior. This 9/11 act of so-called terrorism is the Pearl Harbor that was identified in 1992 by the Project for the New American Century after the fall of the Soviet Union in 1991. The group that prepared the PNAC needed to find another enemy quickly. They did and many in the US have been fooled. Americans should understand that having a war against terrorism is very convenient. Any open minded and honest person that would view carefully the films of the collapse of the Twin Towers should conclude this was a controlled demolition when they critically view the periodic puffs of smoke as the buildings came down. Likewise, any open minded and honest person that would listen carefully to the testimony of several people present said there were sounds of explosions should conclude this was a controlled demolition. Any person that knows anything about temperature to melt structural steel utilized should conclude that jet fuel could not melt or weaken the structural steel and cause it to collapse in the manner it was filmed. These World Trade Center buildings are the first high rise buildings in the US that came down due to fire or by an airplane! Any person that saw pictures of the structural steel left at ground zero before it was quickly removed from the premise in a around the clock effort should witness the uniformity of cut angles that assisted with the building collapse. According to the book called Censored 2005, The Top 25 Censored Stories of 2003 and 2004 by Peter Phillips and Project Censored, story #15 that did not get published was called Israelis seen filming 9/11 tragedy. The source is the Scotland Sunday Herald, November 2, 2003. Israeli intelligence may have known the attacks of 9/11 were going to occur, but did nothing to stop them. Five Israeli intelligence agents were spotted filming and celebrating as the World Trade Center fell. All of them had links to Mossad. Finally, Americans should know that the owner of the World Trade Center made a handsome profit from the insurance coverage, which is more than just being lucky or a good business man.

Earlier in my career, I have worked for a City government for 3 years and two different industries. For the last 34 years, I am engaged in my own Engineering firm. Even though my degree and my specialty is electrical, most of my work and income relates to the structural discipline (within expertise limits -- i.e., no high rises, schools, parking structures, etc.) I've worked with and can deal with all materials: soils, wood, masonry, reinf. concrete, steel, aluminum. I've even done forensics; 1 elect., 2 struct.
Well, I haven't read the official report. But I have watched many of the conspiracy theory videos. Also, I distinctly remember, nearly 9 years ago on the news report(s), the symmetrical collapse of BOTH towers, then the very underplayed (by comparison to the towers) PERFECTLY SYMMETRICAL collapse of Building 7. I thought at the time of controlled demolition and, by extension, an inside job. The gov's intent is to move on, but too many unresolved issues deserve proper focus, before all die.

I've spent some time in the USMC also and I also privately study the Bible, so I make an effort to pursue the truth wherever it leads. I have to say something about myself so I am listing these things, not because I am highly successful or that I have accomplished much, but only as evidence that I am capable of thinking for myself and I have a degree of ability to sort fact from fiction without yielding to self imposed biases.
For Bldg 1 or 2 to fall, enough momentum must be gained in the time it takes for the upper portion to travel 1 or 2 stories in order to overcome the resistance of the lower portion of the intact building. Upon impact this force must be transmitted through the lower structure to the ground before any crushing can occur because the floor immediately beneath the point of impact is not suspended in mid air. Therefore, it is not a single floor that sustains the entire shock of the impact but the force must be distributed throughout the entire lower standing structure none of which had sustained any damage (allegedly). Since the bottom most floor is capable of holding up the weight of the entire building and since each floor is constructed in a similar fashion, one can reasonably assume that an upper floor would also be capable of withstanding a far greater static load than was required of it. Although the impact is dynamic I do not see how this excess momentum could be great enough to overcome the static weight bearing capacity of an entire collection of intact internal and external support structures and crush the entire building unless it was dropped from a far greater height. It cannot be argued that any of the lower supports could have sustained any substantial damage from heat or the initial impact of the planes. It is obvious that the greatest number of columns were not severed by the planes even at the impact site. If the remaining columns there were heated enough to bend under the strain it seems more likely that they would serve to reduce the momentum gained by the falling upper portion and that the remaining momentum would be further reduced as energy was transmitted to the ground and consumed in breaking the entire set of undamaged supports all the way to the ground. This transfer of kinetic energy would act on the entire lower undamaged portion of the building and would not act to crush one floor at a time as was observed. One floor could not be directly acted upon without indirectly affecting those below it. In effect it is not only the floor at the point of impact which is absorbing the shock, but the entire combined resilience of the entire lower structure would resist the impact at once, not just the columns of a single floor at a time. The additional momentum gained by the falling portion of the upper floors would have dissipated well before total destruction could have occurred even with the simultaneous collapse of all inner and outer supporting columns at the point of impact. One is forced to conclude that something was knocking the props out from under the upper part of the building as it fell. As Dr Ross pointed out, the indentations and directions of sheared bolts at the ends of the support columns where they connected to lower ones appeared as one might expect if charges had been used to thrust them out away from each other as the building fell. Pieces of columns appear in the films being thrust outward and away from the building where they are not obscured from vision by smoke. This corroborates his interpretation of the indentations and shearing. The NIST explanation depends on both the severing of columns, massive displacement of fire protection, temperatures hot enough to weaken the remaining structures to the point of simultaneous collapse and the successive destruction of each floor below the crash site. None of these factors can be omitted without leaving a severe deficiency in their theory. Not only that, we are expected to believe that this concurrent set of circumstances happened not only once, but three times on the same day. That's a bit much to accept without some other mitigating contribution.

I am convinced, based on the apparent free-fall nature of WTC buildings 1,2 and 7, that they were brought down by controlled demolition. If Osama bin Laden was involved in those events he must have been so in the role of controlled demolition contractor.

I find it truly astonishing that the professional engineering societies can be so cowed by establishment pressure that there is not a groundswell of protest against the absurd official version of the 9/11 Twin Tower collapses as well as the impossible WTC 7 collapse. I didn't pay much attention to US politics before the tragedy of 9/11. Right after 9/11 and without any investigation I believed the government story, but I couldn't shake the feeling that the tower collapses looked like controlled demolitions. When the U.S. attacked Afghanistan for so many weak reasons I started to question what really happened. I found many things that were highly questionable, and have found an enormous amount of information that shows the 9/11 Commission Report is filled with errors and omissions. So what really happened? The only explanation that scientifically answers most of the observed phenomena to date is controlled demolitions. End of story.

I began my career in the 1980's as a Structurally Certified Welder and held various welding positions in a shop fabrication environment. For me the most convincing aspect that the 911 collapse was a controlled demolition is the recorded explosions on the 9/11 Eyewitness DVD. The explosions, along with the uniformity and totality of the collapses, when added to the 100's of so-called coincidences on, before and after that day, add up to more evidence of a Government involved crime than has convicted most people in our prisons today.

The destruction of the Twin Towers that morning reminded me of an overly-exaggerated Hollywood action movie explosion. The early explanation for what caused what I was seeing did not make any sense based on physics and my studies in structural analysis. I kept watching the news for more information throughout the day until I saw the demolition of WTC 7 live and then knew for sure that there was more to who was behind the attack than what the media was telling us. After much rationalizing it took me til the summer of '02 to conclude that domestic involvement had a hand in the events that took place.

Anyone with knowledge of basic laws of physics should question the official explanation for the WTC (all 3 buildings) collapses. The speed of the collapse (near free-fall), the symmetry of the collapse, the evidence of squibs, witness testimony of explosions in the buildings, etc. are all indicative of controlled demolition. The political implications of this are too scary for many to face, but we have a responsibility to our fellow Americans to expose the ugly truth that we are being lied to by the people we trust to steer the ship of state. Any thinking person who cares about preserving the American traditions of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness has a responsibility to investigate 9/11 and to expose the lies that are moving this country towards fascism.

The laws of physics and probability raise many questions with the recorded collapses. The failure of WTC 7 exhibited traits not compatible with a non-assisted collapse scenario but very fitting of an assisted demolition. The twin towers also raise serious questions due to speed of collapse (conservation of momentum), nature of the fall (unprobable symmetry), expelled mass and pulverization (potential energy conservation alone?), temperature measurements (well beyond fire temperatures) and molten metal.

All engineering Student are required to take Engineering Physics, and Engineering Statics and Dynamics Courses, these give us the basic scientific and engineering principles to evaluate technical issues such as this. I have also worked with high explosives in government work in the past. I can state with confidence that the building collapses which happen at free fall such as on 9/11 require the violent controlled destruction of the support structures in order to effect a complete collapse of the structures as occurred on 9/11/2001.

BSEE (Electrical Engineer) RIT I worked years in the electrical construction field before moving on to computers and computer programming. I worked in steel and concrete buildings as they were put together from the ground up.
In my construction work I have seen first hand the amount of redundancy that is built in to steel and concrete buildings as they were being constructed. I have seen extremely hot electrical fires that have completely destroyed the insides of electrical panels yet the steel panel boxes and the surrounding concrete was left undamaged. We heat the construction site with 200,000 BTU heaters (http://www.masterheaters.com/kero/index-2.html) that burn jet fuel. These never even come close to melting the steel. No steel and concrete building has ever collapsed from fire. From my own observations backed up by facts, I know the THREE WTC buildings were not brought down by fire.

Throughout my years in the working world, structured problem solving has always been foremost in approaching any issue. These same principles are the ones used in the analysis of the three World Trade Center collapses.
From the moment the towers collapsed, something didn't seem right when there was nothing left but a pile of rubble and a lot of dust. After becoming involved and researching numerous websites, I added my name to the petition because the evidence is overwhelming. Building #7 is the smoking gun.

In this capacity my responsibility exposed me to all phases of construction practices and procedures from demolition, civil, structural, mechanical electrical controls, and through startup and commissioning.
Based upon the analysis of the telecast video reports, interviews of on site personal and witness testimony, including that of the building lease holder and also those other reports provided by independent engineering observations, I am of the firm understanding that the collapse of the world trade building 1, 2, and 7 were not caused by a plane impact, nor was this collapse caused by a fire from the fuel from the alleged plane impacts.

Near free-fall time, near perfect symmetry ... impossible without explosives. My own thought: Flight 93 was to hit bldg. 7 and went astray. #7 was done in anyway because it was loaded with EVIDENCE. The Mass Murderers are not only FREE but have benefited enormously from their crime...many Americans should be ashamed of their laziness and blank acceptance of a total whitewash.

I did a much simplified finite element analysis of the 9-11 structures (twins and Solomon) using ANSYS w/the autodyn plug in. The speed of the falls and the downward force impulses that would have been created by the plane damage made many at UTA suspicious of the 9-11 investigation report. It is my opinion that a more complete and thorough FEA survey than the one I performed will help erode the credibility of the 9-11 report of record, and provide political pressure to bring those responsible for the 9-11 murders to trial. There is simply no way the heavy box-section columns would have allowed any building to disintegrate without heavy use of explosives. Even if fire softened the columns, there would have been some bending, not disintegration. And of course the demolition of building 7 totally demolishes the official story!

It was apparent to me from the day of 9/11 that the buildings did not fall due to catastrophic failure initiating from the impact by jet planes. If the towers had fallen due to anything but a controlled demolition, they would have taken out several city blocks and most adjacent buildings would have also been taken down by the towers. Engineers and architects know this, which is why explosives are used to bring down large structures in densely populated areas.

I have been questioning the official story almost since 9/11 took place. Even to someone non-technical, the official explanations for the collapses of the WTC buildings are obviously completely inaccurate. No modern steel building has ever collapsed in that fashion before (due to fire), and it does not make sense that they should. The official story is so obviously full of holes, that it requires a massive amount of ignoring the evidence to even come close to convincing yourself that it is true.

There is no way that these 3 buildings symmetrically collapsed the way that they did. Another interesting fact is how empty the 4 planes were. I have never been on a plane that is 75% empty!! So many inconsistencies!!
