On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I have a BS in Engineering Technology from Cal Poly at San Louis Obispo. I spent 25 years as an HVAC facilities project and design engineer for high tech facilities. I also spent 10 years as a piping materials engineer in the petro chemical industry.
The evidence is overwhelming that the government's investigation omitted a huge amount of forensic data. Many items were not addressed in the official government report. How did a hit on one corner of a tower cause a symmetric collapse? How did a fire on one end of building 7 cause a symmetric collapse? What about building 7 free fall, all of the witness testimonies that have been blocked out by the media, molton steel, thermite, the whole US defense apparatus failure. Why? We invaded the middle East countries largely because of 9/11. There has been a lot of dying and maiming over this. The truth must be exposed. So far both political parties and the mainstream media are complicit in allowing the cover up of the 9/11 attack. The dead and their loved ones deserve a real investigation.

I was always very suspicious of the explanations provided by the government led commissions. The evidence available at this point disproves much of what the commission has stated. After watching the precision with which the towers collapsed, I was then, and remain today, of the opinion that it was a controlled demo job. I did calculations at the time estimating that the rubble pile was much too small...material had to disappear/ vaporize in order for the pile to be as small as it was. Conservatively, the pile of rubble would have to have been about 30 stories deep (including accounting for the 7 stories below grade being packed tight with debris, no air spaces!); a 'pyramid' with a base of 600 ft square. Anyone who has ever witnessed a controlled demolition would have immediately recognized its 'signature in this collapse. Not likely to cut off all of the columns on only one side of the building and still have it come down vertically, virtually within its own footprint, like it did.

From a scientific point of view, it is absolutely impossible that the 3 Towers collapsed because of fire. The explosion clouds, as well as the free fall, makes no sense at all to me. There must have been resistance by the massive core columns, almost solid steel columns in the lower floors. I want to see the truth investigated about 9/11, which had so many consequences for everybody in the world, even till this day. The people responsible must be found.

I want more research to explain what happened, at least with WTC 7. The video of its collapse doesn't seem to agree with what we are being told. My experience with structural steel in heavy machinery is that it would more likely yield than fracture and I don't think it would free fall.

I am a licensed social science teacher with a masters in secondary education. I hold 2 undergraduate degrees in political science and history. I have taught and tutored students for many years in and out of school. As a history teacher, who hopes history is being presented truthfully and meaningfully, I was very concerned about the 'lies' that surrounded the 9/11 event in our text books and in our media. I have been concerned about how the government treated the 9/11 investigations (by NIST and FEMA) and how the government used this event as a justification for wars and domestic espionage.Finding 'truth' in historical research is very important, especially when it concerns a monumental event (9/11) that is used as a pretext for wars and domestic espionage and erosions of our civil liberties.
Like most American observers, I believed the official story of 9/11 despite hearing some rumors that claimed otherwise. However, in 2006 I saw an educated speaker claiming that certain things seemed 'odd' that day on 9/11. I spoke to a friend about 9/11, and he told me that it may have been (among other things) an 'insurance scam' to benefit the WTC buildings' lease owner and was probably perpetrated by 'insiders'. I did more research and found out that many scientists and credible witnesses claimed the 9/11 official story was not scientifically possible. Just using 'common sense' of physics and math, and finding out about the melting point of steel, I was convinced that the towers could not have fallen in that (near free-fall 'into its own footprint') manner due to just the force of the planes and their resulting fires.I read articles about the insurance deal that greatly benefited the lease owner (a possible 'motive' and/or 'damage-control' among other things).I could not believe that our government-led investigations could not come up with sound scientific explanations for these collapses (particularly about Building 7). Therefore, I believed that this investigation had to be part of a government conspiracy to 'conceal the truth,' detract from those possibly responsible, and lay blame to forces and/or agents that were not possible, but desirable for political/economic motives. The (unscientific) official story gave 'credibility' to the government's accusations that Al-Qaeda was responsible and therefore foreign wars and a heightened 'security police state' would need to be implemented to respond to these 'enemies'. This 'new order' was possibly an attempt to advance key officials' (and/or their patrons') political and/or economic objectives.

Was in my classroom that day. My class was first told due to the parents picking them up. I was able to see it because my school, PS 84, 250 Berry St., Brooklyn, NJ was 2 blocks from the East River. I use the Holland Tunnel and downtown everyday as I traveled from Bayonne to Brooklyn.
