PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

These building collapses give every indication of being demolitions. They collapsed into their own footprints and did not destroy the buildings adjacent to them. WTC staff report explosions going off in the building before they collapsed. Building 7 was not hit by an airplane, but it collapsed into its own footprint as well. Owner, Silverstein acknowledges on tape, There was so much loss of life . . . We agreed to pull it. Evidence indicates foreknowledge by government officials given the BBC announced that Building 7 had collapsed while it was still standing. Government officials say they never conceived of an attack on high rises, but the DOD conducted a training exercise that replicated the exact 911 scenario and flight plan on 6/1 - 6/3/2010

I attended community college in the late 90's and majored in physics and mathematics. I transferred to university but never completed my bachelor's degree. I am very well educated about the fundamentals of physics, although not engineering, and I certainly feel that I have the expertise to conclude that there are more falsehoods than truths in the 9/11 Commission Report.
Every element of a controlled demolition that should be present was on 9/11. The fire based collapse conjecture does not adequately account for the amount of dust, the molten metal, the free fall rate of collapse, etc. Occam's razor dictates that the simplest explanation is usually the correct one. Controlled demolition accounts for the entire event. The fire based collapse requires a string of highly unlikely coincidences to be feasible. And, of course, 9/11 was the perfect event to justify two seemingly endless wars that are reaping *massive* profits for a select few defense contractors. All logic points to the unimaginable conclusion that those charged with protecting us were at the very least complicit in the terrorist attack in history.

For a long time I have believed that the world would eventually have no choice but to confront the fact that the three World Trade Towers (one, two and seven) could not have collapsed the way they did because of plane collisions and office fires. This is not a theory. It is scientific fact. It is also fact, not theory, that the events of 9/11 was the result of a conspiracy. The conspiracy theories start to happen when we have the courage, the guts, to look at the fact that the government has lied to us about the cause of the collapses. Lies mean coverups. To accept that the three skyscrapers were brought down by causes other than collision and fire means that threads of questions must be followed to answers and conclusions that many do not want to accept. It is evident that existing investigations into the 9/11 building collapses and destruction commissioned by the US Govt did not address a number of key areas such as testing for the presence of explosives, testing for the failure of the steel infrastructure coupled with eyewitness and film evidence of molten steel on 9/11. The failure to preserve the site of destruction while inspection and investigations were carried out and also the destruction of physical evidence renders an already discredited official investigation incomplete. As such the NIST report has been subjected to professional scrutiny and found seriously wanting in professional standards required of such a report.

None of my educated friends even know about the existence of Building 7, let alone that it was not mentioned in the 9/11 Commission report. The expert input by the scientists interviewed by the Italian production company Telemaco ('Zero: An Investigation into 9/11') - particularly the calm, informed comments of Prof Steven Jones- seems irrefutable, and questions about the role of Mueller, Rumsfeld and others should surely be revisited.

It is impossible to accept that 2 planes brought down 3 buildings. The 9/11 Commission Report states the fall time for the buildings was 10 sec. This is the free fall time for a building approx 1/4 mile high. For a building to pancake down to ground level would have taken more time. No reasonable explanation for this given.

When you're reporting from countries and cultures that are not your own, you get pretty careful about making assumptions about what you see and conclusions about what you're told. It became a habit. Looking back, JFK's assassination during my undergraduate years and Southeast Asia and The Vietnam years (two husbands in the U.S. military) were major watershed moments in my focus on my own country.
