To the Members of the House of Representatives and of the Senate of the United States of America,
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I had a college professor in structures who once said, and I paraphrase, Structures don't collapse from the mistakes that engineers design for....there are enough factors of safety to compensate for that...they collapse from what engineers completely miss designing for. - - - - When the towers collapsed, I was shocked and surprised, but attributed the collapse to the idea that...well...the engineers wouldn't have taken into account a large plane hitting them. Years later I discovered that they were indeed designed for a 707 hitting them. That got me thinking! - - Having spent many agonizing hours designing the structure for a church, I felt certain that the engineers of the towers would have overdesigned their structure to, if nothing else, still be standing until the last little old lady in a wheel chair escaped, unharmed. - - - - Call it gut feeling, with some practical engineering experience, but the idea of the tower collapses and especially the building 7 collapse being caused mainly by fires are suspect. The true cause or causes of these total failures certainly need to be re-investigated.

Due to many different facts I doubt the official explanation on the cause of the collapses of WTC building 1, 2 and 7. AE911truth.org listed a lot of undeniable facts based upon structural and physical principles, that are in conflict with the official explanations of public authorities and politicians. Some of these facts are so obvious that it is astonishing that there are not more voices in the world who express their unbelief.

I lived about 12 miles away during the WTC explosion in 2001. Smelled / viewed smoked for several days. My now deceased father worked at the MTA and he was assigned the cleanup process ( underneath the towers were railroads/ NYC subway lines ) in which he caught some kind of cancer from mesothelioma. Jet fuel cannot melt steel beams! It is impossible. Also, WTC 7 didn't just collapse on its own, it was obviously a controlled demolition and in my opinion, that provides enough reasoning to launch an alternative investigation to uncover what really happened on 9/11/01.

I know that our govt was responsible for 9/11. I knew it then and I know it now. The official explanation does not agree with evidence gathered and presented by ae911.org. The 9/11 commission had their hands tied in many ways. More scientific evidence has been analyzed by many more experts with the benefit of time and hindsight. There needs to be a new commission set up to add the credible scientific information to amend the previous 9/11 commission report. Out of respect for so many that died, the credible analysis of the evidence presented by so many in the group 'architects and engineers for 9-11 truth' should be taken seriously.

I have a BA with 12 credit hours (4 semesters) in logic and critical thinking. I have also completed 9 credit hours (3 semesters) in the philosophy of science.
While I am not an engineer, it seems clear that the official NIST accounts of the WTC collapses are in violation of very fundamental principles of scientific methodology. They have excluded pertinent evidence that is incongruent with their hypotheses, and pursued a conclusion without properly comparing the merits with alternative hypotheses that better account for the evidence.

After watching WTC 7 collapse I knew that foul play was involved. I then reviewed the evidence for the destruction of all towers (WTC 1, 2, 7) with explosives and found it to be irrefutable. This fact implicates the U.S. government in the attacks. Justice needs to be served for the murders that were committed on September 11th and in the resulting wars that followed.

As a Direct Care Professional, I see to it that the individuals under my charge receive the best possible care, are treated with all due respect and honor any possible requests, hopes, and dreams. As an armchair expert on explosives, I witnessed in horror the obvious controlled demolition of the three buildings at the World Trade Center Complex. Much more recently, I began reading 'Death of a Nation: 9/11 and the Rise of Fascism in America' by George W. Grundy. I am only one third through this blockbuster. I cannot put it down, nor keep quiet. The rise of the Neoconservatives during the George W. Bush Administration is detailed very well and provides a road-map of the true events of Tuesday September 11, 2001.

I worked in several industries including software development, US Army (public relations) and construction. I earned my bachelor degree from Sonoma State University as a working adult.
Although I didn't have a background in the sciences, I was puzzled as I watched each tower collapse; I'd never seen grey ash and debris from a fire that moments earlier was emitting black smoke. I couldn't understand how everything turned to dust, ostensibly from a fire. I now know that I was watching a pyroclastic explosion of ash and material, which was previously only seen as a result of volcanic activity.
