PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

There are too many unanswered questions about 9/11 in order to believe the official version of events. A more thorough investigation is needed to arrive at a more accurate assessment. There is not enough energy contained in jet fuel to explain the total collapse and destruction of the central core. The molten steel found in the basements of the towers needs to be explained scientifically. The collapse of WTC 7 is also very suspicious.

Thus it is my right to demand to be told the truth - all the people that had to die in the war that followed 9/11 and the people that died in the 9/11 attacks cannot ask for it anymore. In my former life as an obsessive/compulsive banjo picker, I worked at different jobs to support my music habit, including a few stints in the construction trades. As a union carpenter, I worked on various state-of-the-art steel and concrete structures, including two high rises. Tn the course of gaining this experience, I've seen these materials subjected to diverse stresses and I have an understanding of the energy required to reduce cured concrete to powder and to deform and/or cut steel beams.
Have you ever seen someone break up, say, a section of sidewalk with a sledge hammer? Note that the hammer has a metal head. What would happen if we were instead to affix a piece of the sidewalk itself onto a long handle and use it to try to bust up a bigger section? Common sense and Newton's third law of motion both tell us that this kind of hammer head would itself shatter in the process, and long before the task could be completed. By this basic logic we can see at once that NIST's explanation for the collapse of the Twin Towers is a silly canard. The notion that a small section of a high rise can, in two cases, fall upon the much larger, sturdier sections below and so thoroughly destroy them is a fantasy. That's my argument against NIST's theory: The kinetic energy of the small sections is insufficient to wreak the kind of damage observed. Based on the active thermitic residues that are pervasive in the dust of the towers, logic promotes explosives as the strongest candidate for squaring up the huge deficit in the energy accounts.

I feel that the media effectively force-fed the population a misconstrued version of the story. With all the horror and fear and confirmation from experts and eventually war, even I began to replace my initial reaction and knowledge with the thought that stranger things have happened even in the world of engineering. But more so; what would the horrible truth implicate and how would a nation react? Let us not forget that even the Pentagon damage raises questions. Nonetheless; as a member of the engineering society whose duty is to the safety of the public, I believe that too many people have died and too many provocative questions have been dismissed for us to ignore the need for a genuine investigated.

Objects move through the path of least resistance. Towers 1 and 2 collapsed through the path of most resistance. Normally, you would expect the layers to fall with increasing eccentricity as the collapse progressed, rather than through the centreline where the greatest resistance is. NIST's cascade theory depends on mathematical modeling, and as with all complex models, numerous assumptions are needed to get the model to run. An independent review is needed to verify the reasonableness and plausibility of the factors included in the model which was used to support the cascade theory. We need to independently verify whether the NIST analysis was a case of shooting the arrow and then painting the bulls eye around it. Furthermore, films of the collapse of WTC7 show a very improbable event: the symmetrical collapse of a building that was impacted by the WTC 1&2 debris asymmetrically. Both ends of WTC7 should not have begun their collapse at the same moment if left to chance alone. The collapses of WTC 1, 2, and 7, purely from an engineering point of view, and leaving out any political theories or implications, do not make sense without the assistance of explosives or other devices or some other as-yet unimagined factor to remove resistance and control the collapse. I very much recommend that the engineers, whose duty it is to determine the causes of collapse, remain unswayed by speculations and fears about political implications, and make their assessments based on the physics and engineering alone. The claims made by NIST seem to require multiple leaps of faith in highly improbable events. Improbable things do indeed happen, but as all good skeptics know: Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

For a very long time, I rolled my eyes whenever someone would bring up the 9/11 truth movement. I am no longer rolling my eyes. The video, which clearly shows explosions preceding the fall, and the molten steel/micro sphere evidence have changed my mind about the two towers. The free fall evidence about WTC 7, is undeniable. No thinking, reasoning person, can ignore evidence like this if you look at it with an open mind and a desire to know the truth.

A troubled American who has been uneasy about the 'answers' provided to appease us in the tragedy of 9/11 since the very day it happened. I have no expertise or experience-just a terrible, unwavering certainty that we have been lied to all along. We all need to know the truth-why the hesitation to investigate again? What's the harm if there's nothing to hide? We owe it to the families of the people who died on that day and who continue to die every single day as a result.
I knew from the very first moment I saw the buildings 'fall' that something wasn't right. My mind screamed 'controlled demolition' so loudly and strongly (not to mention horrifyingly) that I could never even consider the explanations/excuses given. Although the implications are extremely hard to accept, the questions and doubts all point to a terrible awareness of how vulnerable we all are and how easy it is to cover up the truth. Fact is, there IS no cover up. The truth is so clear-it's been a case of mass brainwashing! I'll take being called a 'conspiracy theorist' over a blind lemming any day of the week.

Having worked for this government for 26 years, I don't trust anything it does. I eventually left as a whistle blower. Before leaving, the Director of a Service Center was forced to leave along with other high ranking managers. I left right before my two years whistle blower protection was to expire.

My first recognition something was not quite right was shortly after the second plane hit the South Tower. The TV switched to a classroom (in Florida, I think) where someone entered and told George Bush about the attack. Bush continued to listen to the students and after a few minutes got up to leave. As he left the classroom a reporter asked him a question. His answer was 'when I saw the first plane hit....'. How could he have seen the first plane hit unless he had access to some closed circuit TV that was focused on the North Tower. As I recall there is still only one picture of the plane hitting the North Tower and that didn't surface until several days later - it was taken by French firefighters who happened to be in NYC. That interview is still available.In '9/11 Revealed - The Unanswered Questions' (Morgan and Henshall), bottom of page 65: There is a picture with the following caption, 'In the midst of the impact crater in the North Tower, where 10,000 gallons of fuel have recently ignited and a furious blaze is supposed to be eroding the entire structure, a woman stands tragically staring ....down at the world below.' She has long hair and is wearing a dark sweater and light pants. Behind her all is dark, obviously no raging fire. I've watched both towers fall many times, and they did appear to pancake straight down - a demolition expert's dream. Just before WTC7 came down, some one was heard(and this too is available on tape) to say 'pull it' - another demolition term. The explosions.......???There are way too many unanswered questions. I've been following A&E's activities for several years. I think you're on the right track.

With all the evidence I have been able to research on my own, there seems to be much doubt on the government story of events of 9/11. In any court of law, guilt is based on whether or not there is doubt. Criminal law says 'guilty beyond a reasonable doubt' and civil law says 'at least 51% favorable/unfavorable'. I look at this 'case' as a trial. Is there sufficient evidence proving the government's story or is there too much doubt? I say there's too much doubt and DEMAND a new investigation with full transparency! It is my right as a citizen to know!

If we want a government that we can trust, we must begin by uncovering the truth about its past actions, hold it accountable, and then operate with a level of transparency that keeps the public informed and that keeps the powers that be in check by an informed and engaged citizenry. I am currently leading the Lifelong Communities Initiative for the Atlanta Regional Commission Aging and Health Resources Division. I have lived and worked in Copenhagen, Denmark, New York City, Miami, Florida, Savannah and Atlanta, Georgia. I lived in NYC in 1986 and 1987 and visited the World Trade Center and Windows of the World. The work I do now involves identifying and securing funds for transportation options for people with disabilities and older adults who can no longer drive. In researching why it is that we spend BILLIONS on private contractors for 'security', never ending wars and the military but are told that the National Transportation Trust fund has dried up so to bad if people who need to go to dialysis but can't get a ride are walking up to five miles, seniors don't have enough to eat, we only spend 1% on education in this country, what the heck are we doing scraping pennies off the ground to make a difference in the Atlanta region. So I began to do my own research, and so many things I was finding about our tax dollars, where our money is going, who is really 'in charge' or in control of our country, led to oil, the military and the NSA, CIA,Bush, Cheney and 9/11.
I always knew that Building 7 was a controlled demolition. That was known the minute it started to fall. What I was not sure of is how the North and South Towers fell. After doing my own research and hearing from experts and the testimonials from workers on the bottom level or in the basements of the buildings, there is no doubt that these buildings were blown up and the planes alone did not cause them to fall. Additionally, I believe that the plane supposedly that crashed in Shanksville was blown up by a missile, by the white military looking plane that residents said they saw that morning, flying around their community. I also believe that the Pentegon was hit by a missile. There is no way a 747 hit the building and left a round whole half the width of the plane. Shocking and upsetting as it is, I believe our own military, CIA, political leaders such as Bush, Cheney and Rumsfield, and Rice, knew about this and were involved in big and small ways in the mastermining of 9/11. I am ready for those who will not believe that their own 'government', i.e. those with the world's money who are in control of us, would or could do this. Citizens of this country need to wake up and take back ownership of their own rights; the right to know the truth, freedom of information act, and freedom to question authority and put on trial our own leaders. It is time to bring the people who did this, some of our own people, to justice.

I studied and work in the engineering department on U.S. flagged commercial ships. I have also studied finance and economics for many years.
The 9/11 attacks were well known by intelligence agencies of the U.S. Federal government. There was overwhelming evidence of this. With that said, the U.S. government allowed 9/11 to happen so we could invade Afghanistan and start opium production back up. Indeed, there were plans to invade Afghanistan put on the president's desk before 9/11 took place. Of course there are many other reasons a group of elites would let this all go down, such as taking away civil liberties of common people who many elite see as inferior. War is inhumane and corrupt. It should always be the very last option, and even then should only be used for defense, not aggression.
