PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I started out in the U.S. Air Force working in AMMO PGM (Precision Guided Munitions). Later, I became an FAA Licensed aircraft mechanic (A&P) at East Coast Aero Tech, Bedford, MA. I studied engineering at Allan Hancock College in Santa Maria CA where I received an AS Math w/Physics emphasis. I continued engineering at UCSB, where I received a BS Electrical Engineering in 2011.
In 2006 a friend introduced the 9/11 conspiracy topic to me. After reviewing the evidence about the twin towers I agreed that the jet fuel definitely did not drain down elevator shafts or stairwells. The fuel incinerated on the opposite side of the impact in midair. This is due to inertia. What was truly surprising was that secondary explosions were recorded before and after the second plane hit. You can hear the charges going off in some of the videos. Moreover, the fall of building 7 seemed predicted by many officials.

The speed at which the buildings fell should be the most obvious and least technical indication that explosives were used. Most engineers as well as non-technical people should be able to grasp this.

I remember watching the first tower fall, live. I asked my wife, 'How did the terrorists get the explosives in there?' It was so obvious that it was a controlled demolition. After seeing the video of Building 7, I began investigating further. The more I looked, the more the government's story looked thin on details and engineering science. The rapid symmetrical collapse of all three buildings, particularly WTC 7, is implausible considering conservation of momentum. The South Tower's top portion beginning to rotate away from the center, and then disintegrating, seems highly suspicious considering the inner-core matrix and hat truss structural integrity in a portion of the building not impacted by a plane. The immense pulverization of the concrete seems completely unlikely under a purely gravitational collapse. The presence of spherical, iron rich media, interspersed in the dust, molten metal in the basements, and sulfidation of the areas where the beams were cut, is highly suspicious considering it was only a jet fuel fire.

A severed and falling building segment will decelerate as its kinetic energy is reduced by the deformation of the columns and stories below. The opposite was observed on 9/11. The segments accelerated through the towers towards the ground at nearly free-fall. This is direct evidence that supports a theory of controlled demolition, while proving the falsity of the official explanation without doubt.

The most compelling evidence for me of external forces is the time of complete collapse of both towers - around 10 seconds. There is no way it could plow through 10 stories per second without devices to blow out each floor.

I am still professionally active and my career has been split between academia (teaching, research, and extension) and private consulting and focused on irrigation engineering activities related to water resource development and management.
Without any serious study I had simply accepted that the events of 9/11 were as commonly perceived, although I was not happy with the way the disaster was being used to promote what I felt were illegal and self defeating imperialistic policies in the guise of the War on Terrorism. It was not until early 2006 that I stumbled upon sufficient information to become suspicious of the official and generally accepted 9/11 storyline. This led me to do my own investigation during which I discovered the demise of WTC 7, which I was heretofore unaware of. Obviously it was the result of controlled demolition and scheduled to take place during the confusion surrounding the day's events. I now feel morally obligated to deal with and expose the politically unthinkable issues surrounding the 9/11 phenomena by participating in such undertakings as signing this petition.

Past investigations of the WTC collapses were awash in the concealment and destruction of evidence, the suppression and coercion of witnesses, and the utter abandonment of all sound principles of criminal investigation ' in short, a massive obstruction of justice, certainly in the moral sense, and often in the legal sense, as well. As an American citizen, it is now obvious to me that American authorities cannot possibly conduct an unbiased investigation of this matter, because too many of them are already compromised by their own participation in this obstruction of justice. We therefore need an internationally based investigation, on the order of the Nuremberg trials, in order to find the truth and punish the culprits. Such an international investigative body must have full authority to examine all evidence, extract sworn testimony from all witnesses, issue indictments, and try, convict, and sentence the guilty. Because the events of 9/11 were used as a pretext for two international invasions and occupations, everyone worldwide ' and particularly the citizens of Afghanistan and Iraq ' also have a right to demand an unbiased international investigation of the crime and prosecution of the culprits. If such an event in another country were used as a pretext for invading the United States, we ourselves would demand nothing less.

In 1995, I graduated from BYU with a bachelor's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering (Math minor). Since then, I have worked in the computer industry for over 12 years. I'm an experienced programmer and professional network and system administrator.
There are many inconsistencies between the official explanation and the facts. Here are some observations. 1) The lateral ejection of 20 ton steel beams hundreds of feet from a building--some reportedly in clean even lengths. 2) The beams were ejected in absolutely symmetrical patterns. (see http://911research.wtc7.net/wtc/analysis/collapses/mushrooming.html) 3) The manner and speed of collapse were suspect. WTC1, WTC2, & WTC7 did not topple over as you might expect from a building weakened unevenly due to fire. 4) The mass of a fully loaded 767 with fuel would be less than 1/10 of one percent of the above-ground mass of one of the twin towers. 5) A variety of dust samples have proven the existence of iron-rich microspheres commonly produced by thermate reactions (explosives). In fact, the existence of these spheres has even been documented by the government. Some people may say that it is not likely or highly improbable for the trade center towers to have been wired with explosives due to the difficulty involved. This reasoning is used to dismiss any possibility of this scenario actually having occurred without considering the real evidence. Please find out the facts yourself. Don't let the so-called 'experts' (PhD or otherwise) and network television make up your mind for you. Attempt to understand and evaluate them yourself. Do your best to critically evaluate their statements to understand who has credibility and who doesn't. It is very important to consult experts, in print and on video, but do not let them make up your mind for you. Find out who is trustworthy and well-grounded in scientific principles, such as the founder of this group, Richard Gage and many others in the truth movement. Thank you.

No steel framed high-rise had ever collapsed due to fire before 9-11-01, none since. Yet we are asked to believe that THREE buildings collapsed due to fire on 9-11-01. Many buildings both before and after 9-11 have fallen due to planned explosive demolition. The official pancake theory of WTC1 and WTC2 doesn't hold up. All you have to do is watch a video. The pancake theory posits that the floors collapse one on top of the next. That's not what you see. To say that the three buildings collapsed is not really accurate, the buildings disintegrated. Large amounts of material were ejected laterally from WTC1 and WTC2. Reinforced concrete turned to dust in midair, and the buildings fell so fast that it's clear that the building structure presented no resistance at all. In the words of Dan Rather: Amazing, incredible, pick your word. For the third time today, it's reminiscent of those pictures we've all seen too much on television before when a building was destroyed by well-placed dynamite to knock it down. Where came the energy to slice steel girders and pulverize concrete? Not from a kerosene fire, that's for sure, yet that's what we're asked, no told, to believe. We need to reopen this investigation.

The fact that the whole structures after collapse vanished into dust and small size debris is not characteristic of large concrete-steel structures exposed to fire. The evidence and arguments for controlled demolition are really convincing and one has to falsify these by better arguments in favor of another theory, before one can disregard controlled demolition.

The light shed upon the events of 9/11 by Steven Jones, David Ray Griffin and others like them suggest most strongly that our government's version of the cause of what happened on that fateful day is far from the truth. Further, our government's continued refusal to satisfactorily answer questions about obvious conflicts in their version of causes and its refusal from the onset to allow a full and open investigation of these causes by an impartial and empowered body strongly suggest that certain elements in the current administration were complicit in facilitating the events of 9/11 as well as engaging in a cover-up of that complicity thereafter. Lacking a full and open investigation for cause it is highly unlikely that the truth can ever be proven.

Even though it may not be easy to see at first glance, it becomes quite obvious that the official story we have been told by the mainstream media about the nature of the collapses is a lie, once you look behind the curtain of mainstream media reports. ae911truth comprehensibly summarizes pretty much all scientific aspects of the truth, so I just want to focus on a few specific features of the collapses. There are major indications why all 3 buildings - the 2 trade centers and building 7 - could not have collapsed the way we were told by the official sources: - Unresisted, near free fall speed of all three buildings - Symmetric nature of all collapses - Pulverization of almost the entire building with a complete disintegration of the inner steel core structure Many trustworthy sources indicate that it is highly questionable if the fires had the capacity at all to weaken the central steel structure in the affected sections of the buildings. Let us still assume that the claim of the fires to have weakened the steel structure around the fires, which initiated the collapse, is correct and that a pancaking of the floors occurred as a result. For the following reasons this theory cannot explain the above mentioned characteristics: - The lower structures of the building, with the strong steel core in the middle, were entirely intact and should have generated SOME KIND of resistance for the falling upper sections. This would have resulted in a significant and measurable delay during the collapse. Yet, free fall speed is only possible if the entire supporting structure is simultaneously destructed. - The structure of the WTCs was such that the different floors were mounted between the outer wall mesh and the steel core. A pancaking of floors would not only have been much slower than free fall speed, but would have resulted in a partially remaining steel core structure, which very likely would have leaned to one side eventually and tilt, rather than simply disint
