PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I have some experience on building and maintaining a steel structure because I worked on the viaduct of Millau for over three years. After viewing documentaries on internet and comparing the official version with facts, I started having doubts. I don't know much about material behaviors due to explosions and fire, but it is no big deal to understand what is true. A building with steel frame does not fall down because of fire. A building does not fall straight unless it is due to demolition, and does not fall at that speed. And where are the pancakes. How metal melted, and concrete turned to dust? And here are only few doubts I have on how the buildings fell. So many questions, so few true official answers.

To me it is obvious both by physical intuition and training that dropping the top 10-15 floors of a circa-100-floor steel-framed building onto the rest intact below can not possibly cause the entire structure to collapse under its own weight, regardless of how much fire is blazing in the building. If nothing more had happened in Manhattan on the morning of 11/9/2001 than airliners each hitting those floors of WTC buildings 1 and 2, it is possible that sustained fire could have allowed the remaining beams supporting the top section of either building to buckle, and for said section(s) to fall to one side into the street below, but nothing more. Within the present spectrum of human knowledge, such a complete collapse, nearly symmetrical, near free-fall speed, can only be achieved using controlled demolition.

I have personally attended 3 implosions, and was on a professional video team at the implosion of a bank building here in Honolulu where I was even struck by a hot fragment from a shape charge. I have been a mechanic for 25 years and though not a scientist I have a fundamental understanding of the behavior of metal, and the effect impact and heat have on it. Even with out all the wonderful information on the construction design of World Trade 1 and 2 and building 7 I felt the way they collapsed was certainly a controlled implosion. I also always thought it odd that there were so many well placed video cameras aimed at the Towers that morning.

I have studied many different successful business concepts and operations in relation to essential multiple departments that operate within a business. I have major concerns over 9/11 after doing vast research, this was not so much about the actual collapses of the buildings, however the concept and business motive behind it. If we are to believe the government are covering up these events then its best to understand and theorize why on pure fact not speculation. After completing numerous projects in Marketing, the current economical climate illustrates that the American government have legal control over a vast majority of the main stream Medias. The government do not have the power to rule out freedom of speech. They do have the power however to deploy their opinion and overlook another in all of the media resources. They can isolate a view against its policies and portray that view to be negative, unpatriotic, Judas, instead of granting it a fair diplomatic judgment to the public. I also have an large understanding of the oil market and the conection beween oil companies and major banking investment controled by the goverment. Greener technologies are being overlooked to oil to keep the major oil competitors in business. There is also allot of speculation in the business world of Oil companies having to harvest there resources abroad due to shortages, while exploiting environmental and social laws to strengthen profit. When I completed the Social Responsibility of Business course I conducted studies of previous government activity in the protection of oil companies spillages, the exploitation of lower income labour, and limited patented greener technology solutions being overlooked. In connection to this the government having a main stream Monopoly over the countries media and currency gives them the power to influence judgement by the public. The events of currency inflation and oil company operations were not portrayed in the media as a major concern or urgent economic crisis. With the events of inflation and the recession being forecasted the government were able to use it's medial powers to distract the public away from crisis that awaited them. Therefore they acted as it is by too much coincidence that the events of 9/11 were conducted by terrorists. The public are still not addressed to why Iraq are not surrendering to America. I Believe the government used 9/11 to gain the support of the public to secretly harvest more oil for profit. The statistics show all the major oil companies found approx six years worth of oil after Afghanistan and Iraq were invaded. Despite this breakthrough and profits soaring the media failed to portray the link between the war and the oil findings on foreign soil.

I defer to the experts in the field. However, I do have a solid theoretical background in the fundamentals of engineering, physics and chemistry. My relevant education includes basic undergraduate courses in physics, chemistry, thermodynamics, materials science, psychology and neuropsychology. I have understanding and respect for the scientific method: the method of following the evidence wherever it may lead without prejudice or bias, to arrive at scientifically-derived conclusions, no matter how unpopular or politically incorrect they may or may not be. Science influenced by politics is not pure science; it is pseudo-science. Pure science MUST be apolitical, meaning independent of political influence at every stage. This is always a challenge for professionals, but an ideal worth striving for, both for the integrity of the discipline of science, and for the service of science to humanity.
I first learned of the twin tower collapses on one of the major TV news networks. My personal experience was one of surrealism. It felt more like a dream than reality. Immediately, the names that came to mind were Bin Laden, and Al Quada, and some time later I realized that I had been psychologically primed by the media with this information. I originally believed the story told by the mainstream media and government officials that very hot jet fuel fires caused the steel to melt and collapse. But I think subconsciously I had some reservations that the buildings could collapse at free-fall acceleration, and fall so neatly into their own footprints. I had seen demolition videos before, and the similarity was not lost on me. Many years went by and I began to see inside job bumper stickers, and internet images and stories, the first of which was the BBC story claiming that the Soloman Brothers Building (WTC 7) had collapsed even though it was allegedly visible in the background. After posting this on Facebook as a curiosity, I was contacted by a friend who had been following 9/11 truth for some time. I began my own informal research effort studying internet materials, tempered by my understanding of scientific phenomena and engineering principles. The more I researched, the more it became clear that the official story was not believable, and much of the 9/11 truth information was very plausible and realistically a much more likely explanation of events. There is much evidence to consider: eyewitness accounts of explosions, large volumes of molten metal observed streaming from at least one building both before and after its collapse, large quantities of residual heat, discovery of steel microspheres, discovery of unreacted thermite, the physics of free fall requiring zero vertical support and thus requiring ALL steel support columns to be severed simultaneously, no history of modern steel building collapses due to fire, WTC 1, 2 & 7 all collapsing in a similar manner despite differences in building structure and in structural damage, black smoke indicating a lack of oxygen and a relatively cool fire apparently not hot enough to melt steel in the volumes observed, the buildings being designed to withstand airplane impact of 10% higher kinetic energy, evidence that the government ignored warnings, and so much more... I believe the evidence supporting the case for controlled demolition is overwhelming. There are also compelling means, motive and opportunity for nefarious elements in government to carry out such an attack. At least one experimenter with videos on youtube has shown that a thermite charge placed on a steel bolt is an effective and efficient means of destruction, and offers a plausible explanation of events, and is consistent with the WTC evidence.

It seems pretty obvious to me as a registered architect that the collapse of the three WTC buildings were too controlled to be anything other than a controlled demolition. I am a graduate of the Architectural Technologist program at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology in Calgary Alberta. I have been taught a great deal about structural engineering and of building designs and construction.
I do believe that there is a great amount of fallacies in the official report from the 9/11 commission and of the US government. It is my belief that there is substantial evidence for proving that the Towers and Bldg 7 did not collapse solely due to the airplanes and/or debris. The sheer fact that there is hard, documented evidence of thermitic spheres and partially reacted thermite in the dust from around the city is proof enough to bring about an official, third party, investigation into the events of 9/11.

On first seeing the collapse videos, it was immediately clear that this was a demolition. The exterior walls of the towers were heavily structured. Small windows was a major criticism of the building. More free interior space was the result. Since the exterior walls were exceptionally strong, the likelihood that they could TOTALLY collapse is a complete improbability. Similarly, one tower sustained symmetric damage[opposing sides] while the other tower sustained damage on adjacent sides. Two radically different conditions that resulted in identical failures. Completely illogical.
