To the Members of the House of Representatives and of the Senate of the United States of America,
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I have a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of British Columbia, Canada and eleven years of professional experience. Currently I am a senior engineer for a Danish company that makes wind turbine blades. I am part of the Composite Mechanics group that is responsible for determining and documenting the mechanical properties of the materials and substructures that are used in the blades. I am also currently attending a masters level fracture mechanics course at DTU (Danish Technical University) in order to become more specialized within my field. Previously I have worked in Vancouver, Canada with hydrogen fuels and their cooling and exhaust gas dilution systems and in Melbourne, Australia as an engineer designing industrial wheels and castors.
From my understanding of solid mechanics, I don't see how a steel constructed skyscraper can collapse under it's own weight at near free fall speed within it's own footprint. Steel is a ductile material and a space frame construction that is overloaded in compression will bend, buckle and twist, but will remain essentially as one structure. In my opinion, the failure mode observed for the twin towers can only be explained by a series of controlled explosions.

After earning an engineering degree following a curriculum that was primarily a hybrid of mechanical/industrial/manufacturing engineering, I worked awhile for a multi-national heavy industrial construction firm. After that, I moved into the software industry, and have worked as a developer/software engineer ever since.
The piece of evidence that I find most compelling is the sudden initial free-fall descent of building 7. This alone demonstrates conclusively that something other than a fire-induced collapse occurred. Some other inconsistencies I find very telling are the molten metal seen pouring out of the south tower just prior to collapse, the sudden and symmetrical nature of all three collapses, the lack of equal and opposite destruction in the towers, the missing jolt principle, the lack of erect core columns in the debris piles, the lack of any historical precedent, etc.

An object falling to earth at free fall speed, by definition, does not encounter resistance along the way. The rigid structure of interconnected columns, beams, and girders provide substantial resistance to physical forces. Indeed, that is their function. This is one of many reasons why I feel a new, independent investigation is necessary. The ramifications from the events of that day are enormous for the people of the world. It is our duty to strive for the truth.

I am very impressed by the extent of the research, the professionalism of the many researchers providing that work, as well as how compelling the results prove demolition of the WTC Buildings. I believe the case for a new, proper investigation with subpoena power has easily been made. The dynamics (accelerations) of the collapse, the evidence of temperatures consistent with thermites, and the explosive features evident in the videos (particularly the South Tower) are more than adequate to prove the demolition hypothesis.

Ask any demolition company, the hardest thing in the world to accomplish is to make a building fall down within its own footprint. Towers topple! Even buildings like building 7 do not simply fall inward, they spill out on one side or one corner. Building 7 is a perfect example of a controlled implosion! Watch footage of demolitions gone wrong, there are some buildings about that size the ended up rolling like a block and ending up on their own roof (and down the street). And the towers themselves, were in free fall. These building should have toppled near and towards the impact areas, especially the second plane that hit the corner of the tower. If you do believe that the towers pancaked, where are the 23 structural columns in each tower? When floors like this pancake, say in parking structure, the columns remain standing. Since not all the columns were damaged, some should have been left standing--all 110 stories! These columns were very strong, after all they did support the entire structure, and even if they had been knocked down in the destruction, they too would have toppled (not pulverized) and fallen into other buildings or down the streets for blocks away from ground zero. Americans are accustom to watching controlled demolitions on the television, this is exactly what we all saw.

The speed of the falls and the downward force impulses that would have been created by the plane damage made many at UTA suspicious of the 9-11 investigation report. It is my opinion that a more complete and thorough FEA survey than the one I performed will help erode the credibility of the 9-11 report of record, and provide political pressure to bring those responsible for the 9-11 murders to trial. As I watched the Twin Towers fall to the ground on live television, September 11, 2001, I knew in my heart of hearts that the narrative that would unfold would be filled with lies and obfuscation. I knew that governments and media outlets could not be trusted to tell the truth about the events of that day. I knew that the citizens of the world would soon be subjected to tyrannical suspicion. Now, looking back, was I wrong in thinking that as I watched the towers fall? For me, the WTC Building 7 event blended in with the rest of the days events on 9/11. At first, it was a footnote. But, now after all that I have seen and heard from countless credible sources, particularly the voluminous evidence presented by Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth, I am convinced that WTC 7 did not fall due to 'Office fires'. I read 'The Big Lie' by Thierry Meissen which was the first book to be written about the 9/11 attacks. Consisting predominantly of news clippings of actual news reports and printed quotations from witnesses of the events, the book was a convincing compendium of journalists reports. I immediately started trying to pass it on to some of my American friends whose reactions were 'I do not want to believe it.' Later, when it was released, I watched the movie 'Loose Change' many times. While on assignment in the Dominican Republic, I expressed my opinion that I did not believe the official story of the attacks of 9/11 and that I suspected that forces inside the United States government were behind it to a group of educated, highly placed and educated officials. Their response was that they thought the rest of the world believes this but this was the first time they had ever heard an American express this view. As someone who actually witnessed on television both the assassination of JFK and Jack Ruby, followed that story, and therefore never believed the Warren Commission, I had already lost confidence in the veracity of governmental commissions. Since studying the material presented by the Architects and Engineers, I have NO CONFIDENCE Whatsoever in the official explanation of the attacks on this nation on 9/11. I hope that one day the truth will be revealed. I am not optimistic that it will be in my lifetime, however.

Although it wasn't my eventual field of work, many decades ago I studied Civil Engineering at Lehigh University, at the time, one of the top engineering schools in the country. Due to circumstances, I didn't graduate, so I still consider myself a 'student'. I have been studying the events of that fateful day in 2001 ever since, and will continue to do so, until we have a truly impartial, scientific examination of the evidence.
Because of my Civil Engineering studies, I knew from day one, that the lightest, weakest, upper portion of the towers wouldn't have the kinetic energy to crush the largest, strongest portion of the twin towers to the ground. Additionally, the free-fall acceleration of the WTC7 roof line is a dead give-away for those without an engineering background. That's not the way physics works, as anyone who had high school science class.should understand.

A technician in audio and visual for the most part, but also hold a degree in motorsport engineering with a large element in aerodynamics. I have spent the years follwoing my high school exams (right when 911 occured) progressing my professional career in varying directions and always coming back to a technical post.
Steel doesn't melt and gravity doesn't work sideways unless it's being forced to. Aerodynamically, there is no way that those vast chunks of steel could travel that far laterally - unless there is one hell of an ejecting force behind it. They don't even spin while the air would be correcting it's natural fall - until much later. There's no question that explosives had to have been used. The question is why?
