On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

There needs to be a structural evaluation of the failure of the World Trade Center towers and Building 7 on September 11, 2001 in New York City. The evidence produced as the official story related to the supposed collapse of three buildings at ground zero in New York City simply cannot be true. Much more comprehensive, scienfitic evidence has been independently produced. Mounds of evidence were rapidly removed from the site, and the presence of molten metals and dust particles containing evidence of thermate are too compelling to ignore. The official story, however, does just that. It is an insult to our professional intelligence to take the official story at face value. Too many questions remain as to exactly what happened on 9/11/01.

Even as a lay person, there were parts of the official explanation that did not make full sense to me. Over time, my attention was brought to the various documentaries such as In Plane Sight and Loose Change. I have never been satisfied with the conclusions around JFK's assassination either. Both situations tear me apart because I don't want to be any kind of zealot or conspiracy theorist and I deplore thinking domestic entities regard us as expendable, yet there is evidence and/or the lack thereof which I cannot sanely ignore.

I have long held doubts in private about the collapse of the World Trade Center Towers since I first witnessed it on TV in '01. I was given Mr. Gage's video by a friend and was relieved that I'm not the only professional who feels this way. In my profession, everything you do is calculated to the Nth degree. Everything is precise. Everything is over-engineered for future expansion and controlled for safety. I have built many installations that have met UL, C-UL, CSA, CE, and NFPA standards. Many things I have built have been inspected by federal, state, and local governments. I am very doubtful that the collapse of building 7 was accidental. I have held the belief from day one that the World Trade Center buildings did not implode because of the impact of an airplane. I had watched movies of the remarkable construction of the buildings prior to the attack of 911. To say that the collapse of the towers was due to internal structural failure is a slap in the face of every individual who designed, built, inspected, and approved these structures. That includes federal, state, and local approving bodies. This also includes all standard policy bodies such as UL and NFPA. If I worked for one of these agencies, I would be worried about a law suit.

Only recently have I begun to examine the structural collapse of the buildings. Photos of the steel, evidence about how the buildings collapsed, the unexplainable collapse of WTC 7, evidence of thermite in the debris as well as several other red flags, are quite troubling indications of well planned and controlled demolition.

WTC 1, 2, and 7 show that the official story is false because of the symmetrical collapse, the free-fall speed of the collapse, the pulverization of the concrete to dust, the cutting of the columns to convenient lengths, and the persistent molten pools of steel. The Pentagon event shows that the official story is false because of the improbable flight path flown by the 757. The Shanksville event shows that the official story is false because of the characteristics of the aircraft debris field.

My first doubts about the official story began when I read the heavily documented The War on Freedom by Nafeez Massadaq Ahmed, listing all the public records of warnings to the US government. I was especially alarmed by the fact that standard operating procedure to dispatch fighter planes against a high-jacked plane had been violated. The technical evidence presented since then certainly warrants a full and honest investigation. I know several people in NYC were trying to initiate a suit to open such an investigation in the spring of '07, but have heard no more about their effort.

Since graduating college in 1982, I have worked in the structural engineering field. In 2000, I started my own consulting business as a structural engineer. I have experience with wood, concrete, and steel design as well as some forensic experience investigating collapses of structures. I also have experience as a paid on call fire/rescue worker.
I've done extensive research online, and of videos, and have concluded that at the very least, building #7 was 100% a controlled demolition. Although there are literally hundreds of discrepancies, and unexplained things surrounding 9/11, I consider the collapse of building #7, and the fact that Controlled Demolition (the Company) was hired for site clean-up to be an unexplainable coincidence. The fact that we spent much less than the investigation of Flight 800 is also questionable. The destruction of the crime scene evidence is inexcusable. I did not witness any raging infernos that the media claims existed on 9/11.

One does not need to be an engineer to understand that contradictions cannot exist. If the pancake theory is true then we should sure have seen some pancakes, not pulverized concrete and neatly severed sections of steel. Further, buildings such as WTC 7 do not spontaneously collapse from being hit by debris or from fire. The fact that public officials intentionally destroyed most of the evidence is, itself, as in any crime, a suggestion of guilt or complicity in the crime.

I am trained as an Electrical Engineer. I've worked for NASA and other companies designing control systems for mechanical motion control systems. This background in math and physics of motion have allowed me to do some technical inquiries into the dynamics of collapse of the WTC. I have also spent several years working in hte field of avionics and air traffic control. These experiences give me some insight into issues brought up by Pilots for 911 Truth. We must perform publicly and with peer review an extensive analysis of the WTC collapse. The official explanation stops at the onset of collapse. To even explain the start of the collapse without explosives requires some far fetched ideas. There are lots of energy analyses to do that I have not seen done. How can multi-ton steel beams be ejected with enough force to embed themselves in buildings far away? What explains the symetry of the collapse? Uncontrolled phenomenon are seldom symetrical.

The notion that the towers' disintegration was caused by the impact of airplanes is not consistent with the law of conservation of energy. Received MSc degree in Mechanical Engineering from Technical University of Istanbul. Received PhD degree from Brown University in metallurgy. After a short stint in academia, I worked for the Turkish Technical and Scientific Research Institute. I did research on explosively forming welded truncated-cone steel preforms into hemispheres. Materials subjected to very high strain rates behave similarly to highly plastic materials and can change form (deform) without developing external stress cracks. There is a photo that was taken of some 9/11-damaged steel structures where a very big cross section heavy beam has been bent into almost a 180 degree U-shape without developing any cracks on the tension side of the bend. This could not happen under the weight of the building forcing the lower sections to break up into pieces. It proves that a chemical or physical high energy source was in operation at the time the buildings were destroyed (not collapsed.) No amount of static force big enough to bend the heavy beam into a 'U' can produce this effect without creating multitudinous cracks on the tension side. This can only be done by a 'high energy rate forming' mechanism and by either a chemical or physical energy source with a large enough capacity. - - More recently, I was involved in design and production of castings and forgings in industry, and production plant management until retirement.
I am convinced beyond any shadow of doubt that:1- NORAD could not have been rendered helpless by anyone or any organization but persons in or close to the U.S. government. 2- The two towers could not have come down in near-free fall speed if explosives were not scientifically planted and distributed throughout the structures and sequentially exploded through computer control. Explosions occurred ahead of the advancing debris so that the near-free fall speed can be achieved.3- The 9/11 wars and war on terror were pre-planned and executed according to these plans. The WTC skyscrapers were obviously destroyed by a high energy producing material such as nanothermite, which was somehow placed in the buildings. There is no mechanism known to humans, other than explosives, that can destroy buildings of that size at free fall speeds while converting all the concrete and other office materials into a thick cloud of dust. It is futile to argue whether x number of columns were cut by the planes or Y amount. Even if the upper portions of both buildings were totally severed from the bottom portions and the top was allowed to fall onto the bottom, and even if all the bolts/pins holding the metal skeleton of the bottom portion together were in an un-tightened condition, the destruction of the bottom portion of the buildings by the effect of the top portion could never have been accomplished within the time necessary for a free fall. The fact that the buildings were destroyed at free fall speeds is the greatest evidence that the buildings were purposely destroyed by well placed explosives. No passenger plane hit the pentagon.

Have been in electronics for over 20 years. I was in the Army as an Avionics Equipment Repairer and hold over 2300 hours of documented work in an Aprentiship for Journeyman Electrician Radio Repairer, or something like that, with the Department of Labor. The evidence proves that 9/11 was not performed by merely 19 hijackers. The evidence proves that there is no way that ANYONE could have used cell phones to call people from those planes. The calls just would not have been successful. The plane is acting like a faraday shield and would prevent the signals from reaching the towers, especially with the plane over 4,000 ft and traveling over 200 MPH. The evidence also shows that there was thermite/thermate used in the destruction of the WTC's. The complete and utter destruction is not possible by a natural collapse, and it is not possible to destroy the lower columns completely as they become thicker and stronger the lower you go in the building. It's like a tree, it's bigger at the bottom to provide better support.

I earned my BSCE degree from the University of Massachusetts with a major in structures and later an MS degree in civil engineering from Cornell University. After graduation from UMass, I was employed in the field by two of the nation''s largest building construction companies, first the Austin Company (a design/build firm) and later the George A. Fuller Construction Company. The construction of one of the Austin Company building projects was the basis of my master's thesis. I also taught building design and construction related courses to civil engineering and architectural students at Vermont Technical College for twenty years.
In 2006 I became aware of the unprecedented collapse of WTC Building 7 and the Twin Towers at free-fall speed. Professor Steven Jones' video lecture was a stunning revelation and a wake-up call. My experience and further research confirmed the uncomfortable facts as presented by Professor Jones. I also found it disturbing that most politicians seem to have little interest in exploring any theory other than the official jetliners / fires-caused-the-collapses theory. I was told the following in a response letter from one of our representatives in Washington: Regarding conspiracy theories surrounding the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the Pentagon and the World Trade Center, a number of theories questioning the events that occurred on and before September 11, 2001 have circulated. They are patently false. Several videos have been posted on the internet on this subject, and they too are false.... The 9/11 Commission, a bipartisan group of nationally respected individuals, evaluated all relevant testimony and documents related to the events and provided a detailed account of what actually happened on that fateful morning. However, this nationally respected 9/11 Commission failed to include some very important facts and testimonies in their report even though they had to have been aware of them. For example, the 9/11 Commission Report completely omitted the unprecedented collapse of Building 7. Many of the facts and theories that engineers have learned in such courses as structures, physics, chemistry, metallurgy, etc., have held true for longer than the hundred-year history of structural-steel-framed high-rise buildings and they held true on 9/11/01. Only controlled demolition could have provided the types of building collapses displayed three times on that fateful day.

After viewing the videos of the collapse of Building 7, knowing that no airplane hit that building, I feel that there is a very high likelihood that a controlled demolition was the cause, and it should be investigated.

Despite early claims about fire induced collapse of WTC 1 & 2, evidence suggests that the collapse of the three WTC buildings was due to controlled demolition. WTC 7 was particularly suspect in this regard, as it had never been struck by an aircraft. Pyroclastic-like clouds, symmetrical collapse, and molten steel are all indications of a controlled demolition, and all are seen at each WTC site.

It's strange that there are so many fundamental observations that can be made that prove, beyond a doubt, that the events of that day differ from the generally accepted causes. - - Seems it is more like a religious debate, or a political debate, and many people will take a side and not budge the slightest, even when presented simple observations or facts. For example, - 1. Rate of collapse of the buildings - 2. The projectiles that are projected perpendicular to the force of gravity - 3. The destruction of an entire building, below the impact point by a significantly SMALLER 'hammer' ie, the top part of the building - 4. The repeated observations by credible witnesses, ie the fireman, that observed many, many explosions - 5. In the videos of the destruction, anyone can see the significant emissions of material horizontally out from the building - - And on and on... You don't need a microscope to figure this one out.
