To the Members of the House of Representatives and of the Senate of the United States of America,
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I am retired from Saudi Aramco where I was a Loss Prevention Engineer for 12 years. I conducted several major industrial investigations at Saudi Aramco. Previously I was an investigator with a forensics engineering firm in Kingwood, TX (1993-1997), a research engineer with Amoco in Naperville, IL (1985-1992), and a design engineer with UOP in Des Plaines, IL (1972-1981). (Between 1981 and 1985 I was at Northwestern Univ completing my MS and PhD degrees in Chemical Engineering.)
I was always more skeptical about the collapse of WTC7, i.e., as compared with WTC1&2 which pancaked down. WTC7 seemed essentially whole in its upper floors, as it fell, indicating failure of support columns lower in the building. However, after reviewing ae911truth films, I'm now no longer so sure about WTC1&2, i.e., thermite/thermate evidence. I certainly would support an unbiased thorough investigation. I would volunteer to be on it, but I have a strong bias after my years in the Middle East, i.e., very much anti-Israel, which could hurt the investigation.

I am a degreed mechanical engineer working as a product engineer in the field of civil engineering (post-tensioning and cable stay bridges). I am also an Infantry Officer in the US Army National Guard currently mobilized in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
As an engineer (EIT) I am unable to accept the mainstream conclusion of the collapse of the three World Trade Center buildings. Furthermore, having twice been involuntarily pulled from my profession (once in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and currently in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom), I am disturbed that the sole 'legal' justification for such activations of reserve units is the war on terror declared in response to the events of 9-11-01 (Executive Order 13223). The cause of the building collapses is immediately relevant to all our current foreign campaigns and policies.

I tend to view conspiracy theory material as a skeptic, and this is how I approached this issue. After reading peer reviewed studies done at Brigham Young University, I began taking the issue seriously. The fact that many other high-rise structures have sustained fires for long durations without structural failure really makes me question how Jet A fuel burned at atmospheric conditions (sustained fires, post-explosion) could possible generate heat necessary to compromise the structural integrity of the steel to result in structural failure. The near free-fall collapse speeds (documented on video) of the buildings doesn't seem possible from a localized structural failure. If there was structural failure as a result of fire and impact, I would expect an asymmetrical failure of the buildings however the buildings almost entirely upon themselves. I would like to see some more research done upon this subject.

No high rise building in the history of civilization has been brought down by an airplane or a fire. Pictures of these buildings falling at free-fall speed, prove that these buildings were intentionally brought down by set charges. In any large building, implosion charges must be set at least two weeks in advance, indicating that rogue elements in our government planned to bring these buildings down before they were hit by planes. And World trade Center Building 7 wasn't hit by any airplane, yet was intentionally brought down. Why? And by Whom? We need a real, open, honest, impartial investigation to discover the truth of what really happened on September 11, 2001.

I think this is a travesty which there is clear evidence that citizens of this country had pre-knowledge about these events including people who didn't go to work that day, the contractors that left the building before the collapse, the fact the evidence was destroyed that would have been helpful to a real investigation, and the alarming #'s of put options placed on American Airlines before 9/11-- to name a few. I agree with the basic premises set forth by the Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth organization. The big issues for me are Building 7's collapse and the pools of molten steel in the basement. If the two towers collapsed from the fires caused by jet fuel it does not account for the molten steel. Sure the fires may have weakened the steel but they would not have melted it. Building 7's collapse looks identical to a controlled demolition. I would say it does not look like a steel frame building collapsing from fires but before 9/11 no steel frame building has collapsed from fire.

Three of the worst structural building failures in history and no conclusion as to how these buildings collapsed in the manor they did as the result of fire. No data calculations, no working computer animations that resemble any of the collapses. I am no engineer but the manner in which the buildings collapsed is suspicious. From my research thus far, this is the first time in history that buildings have collapsed like this due to fire, event jet fuel. What makes this even more suspicious in my mind is the fact the building 7 also fell in the same manner but without being hit by a plane. The reasoning behind why the North and South Towers were able to fall as they did was because no metal could withstand the heat of a jet fuel fire... then why did it happen to building 7?

Lots of evidence points to all 3 buildings collapsing through controlled demolition. But, even if we were to just look at Building 7, it seems pretty overwhelming through structural and witness testimony. Reports state planning such a demolition would take weeks to set up so if just this one building is proved, then why not WTC 1 and 2.

I am a former journalism student, sales manager and worked in finance for 16 years and had acquaintances that were in the Twin Towers when it fell. Just seeking the truth.
My opinion is that all visible evidence points to controlled demolition...how could a building fall straight down unless its supporting structure at its base was compromised. It seems sketchy to the world.

I'm a filmmaker/actor/singer with a degree in music education and also a project manager for an investment firm.
I just think it's very strange that, not only did those massive buildings fall when struck so high up, but that they fell straight down. It looked like all the controlled demolitions you see of old buildings on TV. You can also go back and watch news reports on youtube from channels like CNN where eye witnesses reported hearing explosive, popping sounds before the buildings fell.
