On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I am a very successful reliability engineer because I understand the physics of how machines are supposed to work, and subsequently, why they don't work.

I was suspicious of the news stories that said that a jet fuel fire collapsed a modern steel frame skyscraper....as if kerosene had the heat capacity to melt steel or there were even enough calories in the fuel tank of a single airplane to melt the massive steel columns of the WTC buildings... all the way to the basement. It also bothered me that two chaotic events (separate airplanes hitting WTC 1 and WTC 2 in different locations) resulted in identical failures.

For the last 13 years I have lived in Detroit, and for most of this time I have been involved in automotive suspension design, catering to the OEM automotive market. It has become clear to me that the official story, that describes the reasons for the 911 WTC building collapses, is fundamentally flawed. There are hundreds of gaping anomalies and unanswered questions. The most obvious question is how Building 7 collapsed. The much delayed explanation appears fraudulent. Similar very substantial issues remain with the Building 1 and 2 official reports. The most plausible explanation appears to be that of controlled demolition - for the destruction all three buildings. It is important that the truth is known - of what really happened. Most of all, this is owed to the families of the victims, who had to fight long and hard for the first official report - which was a dismal failure. A new investigation is needed imminently.

The collapses of the towers appear to happen in a symmetric fashion at free fall velocity - indicating the use of demolition. Molten metal in the basement and columns sliced neatly at 45 degrees indicates the use of thermite. The collapse of Building 7 is particularly suspicious given that it was only hit by falling debris - and if was going to collapse at all - it certainly would not have been symmetrical - nor complete.Fire endurance tests with actual models failed to cause collapse. The NIST structural simulations - are not full simulations from the moment of impact to final collapse and the failure mechanisms seem to have been manually adjusted rather than relying on the pure physics capabilities of the software. The pulling forces on the perimeter columns by the sagging floors were adjusted' (NIST, 2005, p. 142) to cause yielding. A full and proper non-partisan peer reviewed set of analysis simulations has yet to be carried out. I suspect proper simulation will verify the physical model test results i.e. the buildings would not have collapsed due to aircraft impact alone.

When the Twin Towers fell, I felt that they were intentionally brought down as part of a planned implosion. A number of newscasters, including Dan Rather, even remarked on how much they looked like a planned demolition. Yet the official story said that the floors of the building pancaked because the heat from the planes striking the building had weakened the metal framing. Just recently, I saw a video clip of Building 7 of the Trade Center complex collapsing in the same manner, even though it had not been hit by a plane. I consider it extremely odd that all 3 Buildings fell in the same way (what resembled a planned implosion). For this reason, I believe that an independent investigation into the destruction of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7 is imperative.

How could these Towers come down so identically at free fall speed? I tried to clap my hands 100 times in 10 seconds to roughly simulate the speed of a 100 story pancake collapse and I couldn't get my hands to move that fast. Just that made me sense that there was much more to this than the official explanation. Also, how does an 8 foot long steel girder fly 100 yards horizontally? Even one girder doing this would have been evidence of powerful horizontal vectors of energy involved, but we saw the building uniformly doing this and more in all directions from the top all the way down to the bottom. Pulverized concrete? How did that happen? The Tower that was struck second (South Tower) came down first. Both had damage that was more on one side than the other, but both came down uniformly. The top part of the North Tower was leaning in such a way at the start of the collapse that would have it tumbling down off of the side of the Tower due to where its center of gravity was. Instead it reverses direction and falls into the Tower's footprint, then disappears into dust. The lobby in the North Tower, between the time the tower was struck and when it collapsed, had its windows blown out and other signatures of an explosion or explosions.

I am not an expert about construction or demolition, but I have never understood why the way the Twin Towers and Building 7 collapsed didn't attract the attention of the media worldwide and, consequently, trigger a new investigation. It is just obvious that these Buildings haven't collapsed 'naturally'. A child could understand this! Fortunately, it seems things are changing now and I do hope that a true scientific investigation will be initiated very soon as the official explanation just doesn't stand. An American seeking the truth. I was very suspicious about 9/11 within 24 hours. The political scenario afterward seemed to give the impression that the collapse and indeed the entire scenario was at the least being politically manipulated. For me as the images emerged it became quite obvious the buildings had been ' assisted ' in their collapse. Because the scenario is so terrible to contemplate, many people will not accept the truth, but the more information that is passed on and the campaign continued, the truth must be accepted and those in power brought to justice. The political ramifications are emense, but i believe that in the end this will be good for the entire worlds peoples. When all learn that certain politicians and their backers can not be trusted, then perh`perhaps we shall not accept anyone in political life who is not at the very least, sane.

Within two days after the 9/11 event I took a critical look at the strange and almost perfect way three steel framed buildings came straight down. The official story said fire caused the buildings to collapse and I had never seen a random burning fire burn so evenly that huge buildings would go down the way Las Vegas Casinos do, through controlled demolition. I could also not understand how fighter jets were not on top of this situation as they are always on 24 hour standby. I just could not believe that a guy in a cave, with a walkie talkie and lap top, 7000 miles away could have made such fools of the most sophisticated air defense in the world. Then, there was the nice neat hole in the Pentagon with no wing marks on either side. Something was not right then and remains more so with new revelations. When professionals like Architects, Engineers, Firefighters, Military and Scholars begin to question the official story, I want to know why they would put their reputations on the line to critically question that official story.

Not being an architect or engineer, I always found the collapse of the buildings remarkable and hard to understand. I have always wondered why architects and engineers didn't seem concerned about the knowledge that modern buildings can completely collapse due to fire on some floors, as we learned through the official reports. Why are buildings still built the same way, after 9/11/2001?

Having some metalurgical knowledge, the fire that was burning doesn't make any sense as to why these buildings collapsed. The fact that the concrete didn't pancake but went to dust is proof in itself that it was blown up.

The events of 9/11/2001 were either instigated or facilitated by persons and/or organizations other than those depicted responsible in the official account. Building 7 is indisputably a controlled demolition and therefore planned in advance of 9/11 2001. These facts and other discrepancies pose multiple questions that remain unanswered in official responses to date.
