PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

If the collapse of WTC 7 was totally unanticipated, then how many other buildings in the world are in danger of seven second complete collapse due to a few small fires? Foreknowledge includes Gulliani's interview where he states that he was informed that the first tower (south tower) was going to come down in 10 minutes. Additionally, there are the elevated levels of stock put options on United Airlines, American Airlines, and Boeing; Larry Silverstein's comments on pulling WTC 7; Silverstein not eating breakfast at the top of the north tower on that day which he did daily otherwise; and CNN and BBC's anouncing that WTC7 had collapsed 20 minutes before it did.

I have been in the mechanical and electrical field of repair and modification for about 12 years. I have worked closely with engineers of many disciplines. I was in the military for 4 years. I have been involved in the root cause analysis of many accidents. Some of failed structural steel and other composite materials. I have studied metallurgy and what can cause fatigue in metals. I have also studied the live and dead load of flooring and the stresses caused by each to different materials used.
Steel buildings do not naturally collapse in the manner that was witnessed on 9-11. It is not possible that 2 would have collapsed in the same manner, yet we are told to believe that 3 collapsed in that manner. (within their own footprint and at near-free fall speed) We have had much smaller incidents that have been better studied than this world changing event. It has lead to laws being passed and conflicts with at least 2 nations. Yet the study of this incident has been incomplete and in most cases compiled of flawed testing... which is shameful.

Controlled demolition is the only scientifically plausible explanation of the collapses of the three buildings. Recall that in 1945 a 10-ton U.S. B-25 bomber hit the 79th floor of the much older Empire State Building. The building remained and remains fully intact though 3 crew members and 11 office workkers died. The 9-11 investigations were scientifically shoddy and much important evidence was prematurely disposed of. A fresh and unbiased investigation is urgently required of this, our new Pearl Harbor.

I began my career as a Geodetic Surveyor in the US Army in Germany from 1979-1982. I studied Civil Engineering at and graduated from the University of Vermont with a BSCE from 1982-1985. In 2005, I first heard the WTC controlled demolition idea and became interested in the collapse mechanism of the WTC buildings. So far, controlled demolition provides the most complete explanation for the collapse mechanism. The crucial missing piece of the controlled demolition explanation is who did it. 9/11 study is a fascinating puzzle and mystery.

I was shocked to learn that Bldg.7 was not even mentioned in the 9/11 Investigation Report, as it is in my mind the key event in questioning all of the happenings on 9/11. But when few people even know that the building existed, it is difficult to discuss with them what happened to it and how it relates to the overall picture.

Since the Oklahoma bombing I lost faith in getting the truth from nat'l. media and our gov. I felt strongly when the WTC fell that it was impossible (and argued with colleagues for years), with my knowledge/ understanding of alloy and structural steels. Then heard later another building fell but no one talked about it... Why? Then the Pentagon and PA... TV reports explained the alloy steel and titanium in landing gear and jet engines vaporized because they hit so hard... Bull, these metals do not vaporize no matter they were traveling at 500mph or 1000mph... So, where are they? No one answers... Letters to congressman and the local TV investigators gets you no response or something unrelated..... why? I'm glad someone has put this site together, finally, people who see the same things I've seen and been scorned for all these years.

I have been an engineer working mostly in casting metal foundries for the last 20+ years. I have poured plenty of iron and iron based alloys in my career. Liquidus temperature for construction type steels is around 2735F - 2750F. It is impossible for the steel structure to have been compromised to the point of the type of failure that was experienced. There are many different technical things from material science to metallurgy to computer science issues that are obviously incorrect and or fabricated.

When I found the information about the collapse of the three WTC buildings, I noticed that it is clear that the official account of what caused the collapse does not explain all of the observed behavior of the buildings before, during, and after their collapse. I accepted the government's conspiracy story as given out by the main stream media and did not give much, if any, thought to it until a neighbor on March 1, 2006 brought me a story from the Desert Morning News in SLC, Utah. It was dated 1-28-06. I contacted the journalist and asked if there were any other stories and she sent me two others. After reading them and finally thinking about it and based on my engineering education and experience, I realized that we have been lied to and that there was a coverup. For instance if the floors pancaked and fell one on the other from the fires, which could not possibly melt and cut the steel, the 47 massive columns over a quarter mile high would still be standing! There was no forensic investigation and the steel fell in lengths that could be loaded and trucked to the west coast and shipped to Asia. Also the R9/11 Commission report did not mention the 47 story WTC 7, which fell the afternoon that the two towers fell in the morning! A sure sign of a false report. My opinion is that the 3 WTC buildings fell as a result of planted cutting charges - an inside job. Regarding the Pentagon, I believe from the size of the hole in the ext. wall and lack of airplane debris, that it must have been a missile. As for the 4th plane that supposedly crashed near Shanksville, PA, there was only a smoking hole in the ground and all the debris was scattered over a very wide area so it must have been shot down.

The nearly free-fall velocity and the symmetrical path of collapse of Building 7, the confined footprint of the building's debris, the lack of any external force applied to the building's exterior are suspicious. Coupled with these factors, a visual comparison of the collapse with that of buildings being leveled by professional, controlled demolition suggests that the cause officially attributed to the failure (weakening of the structural members due to fire) is exceedingly unlikely. The true cause was likely an intentional, controlled demolition using explosive thermal charges typically employed for such purposes. The failures of WTC Buildings 1 and 2, likewise, are suspicious due to the inherent design strength of the buildings' cores to withstand aircraft impact; the relatively low temperature of a kerosene fire v. the temperature required for structural steel failure; the presence of subterranean molten steel, suggesting that a high-temperature cutting material was employed (thermate or a derivative); the debris cloud, which resembled that from an explosion; and like Building 7, the near free-fall velocity of collapse. Together these factors suggest that the cause of collapse was an intentional deployment of a professionally designed and executed demolition process utilizing systematically and remotely detonated, thermal cutting charges strategically situated throughout the buildings on key structural support members and their joints.

It is clear from my research into the collapses of the WTC twin towers and WTC7 that the official explanation as reported by FEMA is not the whole truth of the matter. I hope that the truth regarding these collapses, whatever it may be, comes to the public's attention. I therefore support further investigation.

Mr. Brookman is a licensed structural engineer in the state of California. He obtained B.S. Civil Engineering (1984) and M.S. Structural Engineering (1986) degrees from the University of California at Davis, and has over 21 years experience in structural analysis, design, evaluation and rehabilitation of buildings in northern California.
One of our primary responsibilities as architects and engineers is to ensure public safety in and around our structures, and we take this seriously. It is also our responsibility as concerned American citizens to ask questions and seek honest answers. I encourage everyone to read the numerous books, technical reports and papers about the WTC; look closely at the photographs and videos; listen to the speakers with an open mind. Decide for yourself, and take a stand for what you believe. As a structural engineer I believe in the laws of physics and rely on them every day. - - - - After much reading and studying it is obvious that NIST, FEMA and the 9/11 Commission have all fallen short of a detailed accounting of the catastrophic collapses of the three World Trade Center buildings in Manhattan on 9/11/01. A few examples of unexplained details include the severe high temperature corrosion attack on the steel as described in Appendix C of the FEMA Building Performance Study, the complete symmetrical collapses following asymmetric structural damage and short-term fires, and the chemical signature of incendiary compounds found in the toxic WTC dust. - - - - I would really like to know why complete collapse of the twin towers became inevitable as expressed by NIST without any scientific analysis to substantiate it. Why would all 110 stories drop straight down to the ground in about 10 seconds, pulverizing most of the contents into dust and ash - twice? Why would WTC 7 fall straight down to the ground in about seven seconds the same day? It was not struck by any aircraft or engulfed in any fire. An independent investigation is justified - and necessary - for all three collapses.

I was a city engineer for 34 years for the cities of Jefferson City, St. Joseph, and Raytown, Missouri. Graduated from the University of Missouri at Rolla in 1972 and received PE license in 1978. Designed bridges, roadways, storm, sanitary sewers, and traffic signals. Also, served 20 years with the United States Navy Reserve Civil Engineer Corps and retired as Commander, USNR.
Being a civil engineer and understanding the laws of physics, I know that a building cannot fall a free fall speed without the floors already falling also giving no resistance. I wish our congressmen were as smart, and also showed some backbone and got a truly independent investigation going. Also, this 911 truth movement has shown to me that our press is as every bit controlled and spits out as much propaganda as I thought Pravda did for the old Soviet Union. My eyes have been awakened to many things, and I have come to learn that we do not live in as free a country as I thought we did, and with the passage of the Patriot Act, the Military Commissions Act, it has become even less so. Let's elect Ron Paul and bring our country back under the Constituion!!

Since then, I have researched pretty heavily via books, web sites and videos, to try to understand what happened on 9/11/2001.
Building 7: No way that building fell due to fire. The fires were small and limited and the building fell symmetrically into its footprint exactly as a controlled demolition.

From a technical point of view it is not explainable that a steel structure sinks down into its own footprint with obviously no resistance after intense fires or even a plane crash.

The official report describing the cause of the collapse of the three structures at the World Trade Center seems to reach conclusions not based on the evidence presented and does not address evidence that does not support the conclusion. It is not credible. Many actions, costing many lives and billions of taxpayers money have been initiated based on the story repeated in that report. The American People, and the people of the world, deserve a thorough review of all the relevant data and facts and an open analysis and conclusion from a reputable and diverse professional group. Please find the courage to support revisiting the facts surrounding the collapse of the buildings on 9/11. Thank you.

After reviewing several videos and documentaries it is clear to me that there needs to be an independent, comprehensive investigation, and subsequent education of the general public of the actual cause of the so called collapse of the world trade center buildings. I am certain if engineers and scientists work together the real cause of the destruction of the buildings will be understood. The official explanation by the US government is not supported by the superfluous evidence of what occured that day.

A rudimentary knowledge of physics and in particular Newton's laws of motion is all that is needed to realize that all three collapses could not have happened as we have been led to believe. It is simply not physically possible for a structure to collapse at near-free fall speed and, at the same time, pulverize all of its concrete and steel into tiny fragments; there is not sufficient energy available to achieve both results simultaneously. A collapse at near-free fall speed would require that there be absolutely no internal resistance within the structure to hinder its acceleration under gravity. Buildings such as these are designed for combinations of extreme loads that include earthquakes and hurricanes with a sizeable factor of safety thrown in. On a calm day, for buildings with lower than full occupancy, each of the WTC towers' strength capacity was quite likely five to six times higher than that required to support its actual applied loads. Each of the plane impacts were toward the tops of each of the Towers and, of course, the buildings get very considerably stronger toward the lower levels to support the loads applied from above. For this massively strong support structure to just crumble away at near-freefall speed would have required immense amounts of explosive energy; the 'collapses', quite simply, cannot have occurred any other way! There is no doubt that there were vast quantities of extra energy applied to the structures to achieve both rapid collapses and complete destruction of their components. This energy can realistically only have come from explosive charges. Anyone who views the videos can see that the Twin Towers exploded outward and upward during their collapse, quite simply impossible in a pure collapse scenario. The chances of the three buildings collapsing symmetrically into their own footprint, at near-free fall speed, by any other means than by controlled demolition, are so remote as to be beyond even consideration. 9/11 is an event that has changed world history and the lives of millions, mostly for the worst. I do not want to sit back and pretend it was one thing, when I know with 100% certainty it was something quite different. The greatest crime of all time must be subject to the best investigation of all time!

I hold a Master of Science (Engineering) from the Technical University of Denmark in environmental chemistry and pre-press technology. I have spent the last decade developing enterprise software, mainly in business intelligence. I lived on the US west coast 2005-2009 where I got involved with the 9/11 movement. Currently I am back in Copenhagen, Denmark, but still working for a new investigation.
The work of Dr. Steven E. Jones and other researchers in the Journal of 9/11 Studies shows clearly that the NIST investigations of the WTC collapses did not answer the question of why and how the buildings collapsed. The NIST investigations were based on unfounded or ill-referenced assumptions, and have been carried out with an unacceptable set of restrictions and a lack of professionalism. The refusal by NIST to discuss the obvious and severe issues regarding their findings incriminates them.

I have spent five years researching and discussing the events of 9/11. The reason I would like to sign this petition for a new investigation is due to the unanswered questions, informational gaps, inconsistencies and discrepancies of the 911 Commission Report in general, and because of the unacceptable work of the NIST in investigating the collapse of the towers specifically. The tragedy of 9/11 and the mass of civilian deaths that occurred that day demand a proper investigation, unbiased fact-seeking, and full-disclosure. The American people have been charged $16 million by the NIST and received nothing of value in return for that price. I would lose my engineering license if I pulled that stunt.
