PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

The NIST reports on the collapses of the Twin Towers and WTC7 ignore key scientific data (nanothermate, near free fall collapse) and eyewitness testimony (of explosions in the buildings before the planes hit), and are based, not on objective physical evidence, but computer simulations whose inputs have been tweaked to somewhat agree with the video evidence of the collapses.

The official explanation in the NIST report violates the laws of physics. It is physically impossible for a building (or anything else) to fall at near-free-fall acceleration and do work (smashing steel and concrete) on the way down. An external energy input (like explosives) is absolutely essential. In addition, for the top of one of the towers to tip about 30 degrees and NOT continue tipping and falling off violates the law of conservation of angular momentum. The symmetrical collapse of building 7 due to highly asymmetrical damage is also unbelievable. We have not yet been told the truth. If the government has nothing to hide, why continue to hide everything? Why not a new and truly independent investigation?

I have 20 years post graduate experience as a structural engineer working in the offshore oil and gas, and laterally, renewable energy sectors. I have been running my own consultancy company for the last 10 years providing structural engineering services to offshore wind, wave and tidal energy projects.
The collapses of the towers appear to happen in a symmetric fashion at free fall velocity - indicating the use of demolition. Molten metal in the basement and columns sliced neatly at 45 degrees indicates the use of thermite. The collapse of Building 7 is particularly suspicious given that it was only hit by falling debris - and if was going to collapse at all - it certainly would not have been symmetrical - nor complete.Fire endurance tests with actual models failed to cause collapse. The NIST structural simulations - are not full simulations from the moment of impact to final collapse and the failure mechanisms seem to have been manually adjusted rather than relying on the pure physics capabilities of the software. The pulling forces on the perimeter columns by the sagging floors were adjusted' (NIST, 2005, p. 142) to cause yielding. A full and proper non-partisan peer reviewed set of analysis simulations has yet to be carried out. I suspect proper simulation will verify the physical model test results i.e. the buildings would not have collapsed due to aircraft impact alone.

I would like a thorough investigation in to the events that occurred on 9/11. There is not enough irrefutable evidence to suggest that the towers collapsed the way they did because of the events that are explained in the official reports that are available. The fact that multiple university studies and reports have differing theories and conclusions means we do not have enough concrete evidence to draw such conclusions.

A very high IQ defines this girl as 'genius,' though my own definition would be artist/musician pacifist/healer--an extremely bright, creative and thinking person. The official line on what occurred on 9/11/2001 is an impossibility. All three buildings were taken down via controlled demolition. Chemical analysis of samples revealed nanothermite residue. How a fuel fire could produce a pool of molten steel cannot be explained. There is much more physical evidence refuting the official line, as outlined in the Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth website and other sources. I would add that former NY Mayor and Federal prosecutor Giuliani committed one of the greatest criminal acts in US history by arranging for the destruction of physical evidence in the 9/11 tragedy, namely the removal and destruction of WTC steel.

If an airplane collides with a building, striking just one side, were to impact with enough force to compromise the load bearing integrity of the concrete, then it stands to reason that such impact would create an asymmetrical compromise. In plain language, the building would topple sideways, not fall straight down. A side impact could, perhaps, cause one level of concrete to crack. But it would not allow many floors of concrete blocks, stacked on top of each other, to fall directly through each other. And of course, no plane struck the third tower, WTC7.

I've read numerous reports, articles and books, as well as viewed many documentaries and videos all related to 9/11. I have a fervent interest in promoting the truth about this event. I'm convinced that the official government version of the events of 9/11 and the 9/11 commission report are erroneous at best, outright lies and deception, at worst.
Excepting the three 9-11 building collapses, no fire, however severe, has ever caused a steel-framed high-rise building to collapse. High-rise fires that were far more severe than those in WTC 1 and 2, and Building 7. In these precedents, the fires consumed multiple floors, produced extensive window breakage, exhibited large areas of emergent flames, and went on for several hours. The fires in the WTC towers did none of these things.

I was there. I saw the towers fall and smolder for over six months, while Mayor Guiliani and then-head of the EPA Christine Todd Whitman told the public the air was 'perfectly safe' and to 'go back to work.' I went to work 4 days later, walking on ash as slippery as ice.

I'm a graduate of The Evergreen State College in Olympia, WA. I freelanced for a while before being hired on full time with Skate Slate Longboarding Magazine, where I am currently the art director.
The evidence left at the site of the World Trade Center buildings very obviously points to explosive devices being used towards their destruction. The fact that NIST didn't even consider that possibility shows their is corruption and a cover up of some sort. A full unbiased, independent investigation is the only way to heal and investigate who else was involved in the destruction of the three buildings. The fact that so many of our personal and privacy rights have been stripped away since this fateful day pains me, considering the fact the truth of the situation is so blatantly brushed away.

Something is deeply wrong. The conventional picture, of the formal explanation of 9/11 painted by the mass media and the government, is simply inadequate. The consequence of being able to use the US, the number one leader in the West, to knock out Iraq, Israel's most potent enemy. That's something else that smells. In order to get to the truth we have to have an investigation.

I am a 20 year old graphic artist! I have no engineering skills or notions but I have a minimum of logic and I perfectly understand how a 40,000 ton steel structure could not fall in a symmetrical way!
I just hope one day this investigation will reveal the truth about 9/11. American people and people around the world deserve to know what really happened that day.
