PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

Try to melt a steel pan on a gas stove. s = 1/2 g t(square). If t is ten seconds, s is 1600 feet. Those buildings fell like Niagra Falls water as any student of Gallilei Gallileo can verify for himself. One needs to study the Gunpowder Plot, the Popish Plot, the Maine. the Lusitania, the Purloined Necklace. and The REICHSTAG FIRE, not physics to understand this miraculous event.

The video of the actual collapse of the building shows the building collapsing while intact. The NIST model does not represent the reality of the collapse. Therefore, NIST model assumptions were wrong somewhere. In addition to that, the collapse of one major column would not cause the whole building to collapse, and if it did, it will not collapse symmetrically.

Have been designing building structures for 35 years both in the UK and the Middle East with local UK based consultancies and with a large project management company in Saudi Arabia. For the last 14 years, I have owned and run a structural design consultancy in Edinburgh, UK specializing in steel framed, masonry and timber building designs.
From the outset, watching the collapses on television, it was clear there were very serious questions to be asked about how three robust steel framed buildings collapsed into their own footprints, one of which had not been struck by an aircraft and had been subject to a relatively minor fire. Given the evidence from multiple witnesses regarding explosions in the buildings before and after the planes struck, the stand-down of the US air force, the admission by the owner of the buildings of the decision to demolish Building 7, the immediate removal of structural evidence, the high temperature fires in the basements, the evidence for explosive residues in dust and obvious unwillingness of US authorities to offer a reasoned and full engineering explanation for the collapses. Since 911, the two relevant UK engineering institutions have failed to provide an analysis or to offer advice to structural engineers on progressive collapse and fire protection in steel framed buildings in complete contrast to previous serious building collapses. In my opinion, the official report on the collapses, or any other that I am aware of was entirely inadequate and should be reopened to fully investigate the reasons for these building failures and offer advice and guidance on limiting risk in future, and existing, structures.

I'm a person with eyes and a working brain. Like most I bought what I was sold after such a shocking event, but once I was compelled to investigate, I found that much of what the 'conspiracy theorists' were saying was based on physics and basic science. I am a recent graduate with a Bachelor's in Psychology. I completed a Senior Capstone paper titled 'Why do People Persevere in Beliefs in the Face of Disconfirming Evidence?' I was specifically interested in people's beliefs about what happened on 9/11, and why so many people continue to believe in a story that cannot be scientifically possible. On a personal level, I have been pushing for the truth to be revealed to the public for many years. I have been following AE911 for quite a long time, and am looking forward to the day when a new official investigation into the events takes place. Even though I am not an expert in the science of engineering or architecture, it is obvious to me, even as a layperson, that the collapse of building 7 could not have been due only to office fires. Like most, I did not believe these theories at first. We all seem to have the official story pretty comfortably installed, and its hard to swallow anything contrary to this story. However, evidence-presenting documentaries, especially 'Experts Speak Out', present an all-but irrefutable case against the official story. The towers did not fall because of the plane impact alone. Who installed the explosives/ thermite and when? And why did the 9/11 commission and NIST avoid this information when it is clearly relevant? Why did the 9/11 commission avoid WTC 7 altogether? These inconsistencies and many more call for a re-investigation of the events of September 11th. The responsible parties should be tried to the full extent of the law.

Watching television coverage on the day that the Twin Towers, and especially WTC7 which was NOT struck by a plane, collapsed into their own footprints, the immediate question was 'how could such big buildings come down in this fashion? This has all the hallmarks of a controlled demolition.' Having flown in a wide variety of aircraft, including hands-on experience in a small plane (the type on which the alleged perpetrators were supposedly trained) it was evident that none of them could have had the skill to fly airliners into those buildings. Controlled demolition is the only possible answer, especially in the case of WTC 7.

I have been working professionally in broadcast media, film and theatre since 1988 and have written three crime novels published by a major publishing house. For the past 10 years I have also worked extensively as a manuscript consultant, reading and analyzing several hundred novels, mainly crime stories.
If I had received the story of 9/11 in the form of a novel as a manuscript consultant, I would have refused it. The investigation is too straightforward and the solution to the mystery - 'who done it' - is way too easy, to the point of being ridiculous. Also, too many questions are left unanswered.

I am a firm believer in critical thinking, not conspiracy theories. I have a computer science degree and am a professional photographer and videographer. After reviewing the evidence the results are clear, foul play is at hand.
After years of reviewing evidence from videos, photographs, and testimonials the evidence makes it clear that the entirety of the claim that 4 'planes' caused the destruction is not possible. From the too small of a crater and lack of debris in Shanksville, the impossibility of hitting the 35 foot tall pentagon and lack of impact evidence on the building, to WTC 7 being demoed, to the free falling characteristics of WTC 1 & 2, and the airplane high jacking drills that happened to be performed on the same day as well as the confiscation and destruction on of video and audio evidence at the pentagon and air-traffic controllers, foul play is at hand. The people who were murdered deserve better, the first responders who are suffering from diseases and cancers deserve better, the American people deserve better!

Not much to say here. After the initial destruction the 'facts' failed to explain the results and I searched further for answers as to why. What I found is that the entire explanation by the our government and Executive Branch felt contrived and false. After viewing independent documentaries I came to the conclusion that it was an attack planned by members of our own government in order to establish control and power over the people and give the Executive Branch of our government the power to ignore the Constitution in the false name of National Security.

I have no relevant technical background but observed the events of 9/11 from Brooklyn Heights where I was visiting my daughter on her birthday. I am a Columbia University college graduate and, at the time of 9/11, had recently retired from a 35-year career as a film-maker and producer of television documentaries, mostly for public television.
Almost immediately after recovering from the shock of the events, I found the official stories that quickly surfaced to be unconvincing and suspicious.
