To the Members of the House of Representatives and of the Senate of the United States of America,
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I graduated from University at Buffalo, The State University of New York in 2011 with the degree of Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Magna Cum Laude. One out of five of my college years was spent interning at Moog Inc, the company for which I am now employed. I am now sort of an, 'all-purpose' or 'jack-of-all-trades' engineer, working mostly with the hydraulic and mechanical systems used in the flight controls of major commercial airliners. I'm one of the few privileged engineers who is able to connect together the design and development of a brand new primary flight control system to the full rate production of a new aircraft.
I would like to know the truth of what happened on 9/11 to cause the destruction of three skyscrapers. To this day I have not been informed sufficiently to know what really happened, or why. The publicly accepted reason for the collapse of the twin towers is an insufficient explanation. For the collapse of two modern steel structures to be caused by fire and burning jet fuel in such a controlled manner in such a short time span doesn't make sense to me. I suspect that governmental agencies may have been involved, providing me with false information about such a monumental event affecting American policy and law. I support the demand for a thorough, unbiased, truth-focused investigation using only evidence as a means to understanding these events.

I watched the 911 event on television. Although I didn't see the first airplane strike the first tower, I did watch the second plane strike the second tower and then all the other events at the Pentagon. I wasn't aware of Bldg. 7 until later. At the time, I couldn't believe what I saw, and knowing what I know about steel building structures and airplane airframes and skins, I knew that the building shredded the plane like French fries and as to the weight of the plane, I knew that that would not be a problem. So when the building came down I was speechless. I think I said, 'No, that can't happen', but it did. When I became aware of Building 7, I joined this group of A & E''s. Building 7 came down in a controlled demolishing fashion, it was so obvious. I have been watching Richard Gage's efforts and research ever since. Most of my piers don't want to get involved and I don't understand that, other than it is high stress and they already exist in a high stress industry. High stress such as this event s not healthy, most just want to move on. I understand that but continue to send letters to my Senators to review information on 911 Truth's web page. Did it last week stressing the research and data collected on Building 7 in an effort to get NIST to do the right thing.

When they didn't and wouldn't, I did an investigation of my own. I used my ability to trouble shoot situations where the investigator is even presented with lies, which is often the case, to conclude the buildings did not come down from fire or the damage from planes. The Silvestein interview was the first bad data point concerning the situation. Then I found more than I needed to support my theory beyond any doubt.

I'm a person with eyes and a working brain. Like most I bought what I was sold after such a shocking event, but once I was compelled to investigate, I found that much of what the 'conspiracy theorists' were saying was based on physics and basic science. Sure, there are plenty of crazy theories out there but the facts remain - those buildings were brought down by explosives, we were lied to, and we want answers now.
How they were able to get away with this is beyond me. Everyone that witnessed the events knew exactly what they were seeing, and the evidence - despite the government's lame but best attempts to cover things up - shows this unequivocally.

I am a recent graduate with a Bachelor's in Psychology. I completed a Senior Capstone paper titled 'Why do People Persevere in Beliefs in the Face of Disconfirming Evidence?' I was specifically interested in people's beliefs about what happened on 9/11, and why so many people continue to believe in a story that cannot be scientifically possible. I can send you my final report if needed. I initially faced resistance from my professor when I mentioned doing my paper on 9/11 so I had to write it in a way that focused on the psychological side of people who continue to believe the official story. On a personal level, I have been pushing for the truth to be revealed to the public for many years. I have been following AE911 for quite a long time, and am looking forward to the day when a new official investigation into the events takes place. Even though I am not an expert in the science of engineering or architecture, it is obvious to me, even as a layperson, that the collapse of building 7 could not have been due only to office fires. As Americans, we are on a dangerous slope if the government tells us this was the cause and we choose to believe it without question. Like most, I did not believe these theories at first. We all seem to have the official story pretty comfortably installed, and its hard to swallow anything contrary to this story. However, evidence-presenting documentaries, especially 'Experts Speak Out', present an all-but irrefutable case against the official story. The towers did not fall because of the plane impact alone. Who installed the explosives/ thermite and when? And why did the 9/11 commission and NIST avoid this information when it is clearly relevant? Why did the 9/11 commission avoid WTC 7 altogether? These inconsistencies and many more call for a re-investigation of the events of September 11th. The responsible parties should be tried to the full extent of the law.

Watching television coverage on the day that the Twin Towers, and especially WTC7 which was NOT struck by a plane, collapsed into their own footprints, the immediate question was 'how could such big buildings come down in this fashion? This has all the hallmarks of a controlled demolition.' Having flown in a wide variety of aircraft, including hands-on experience in a small plane (the type on which the alleged perpetrators were supposedly trained) it was evident that none of them could have had the skill to fly airliners into those buildings. Controlled demolition is the only possible answer, especially in the case of WTC 7.

This material showed to me the idea that there were many inconsistencies and doubts about what really happened. If I had received the story of 9/11 in the form of a novel as a manuscript consultant, I would have refused it. The investigation is too straightforward and the solution to the mystery - 'who done it' - is way too easy, to the point of being ridiculous. Also, too many questions are left unanswered.

I am a firm believer in critical thinking, not conspiracy theories. I have a computer science degree and am a professional photographer and videographer. After reviewing the evidence the results are clear, foul play is at hand.
After years of reviewing evidence from videos, photographs, and testimonials the evidence makes it clear that the entirety of the claim that 4 'planes' caused the destruction is not possible. From the too small of a crater and lack of debris in Shanksville, the impossibility of hitting the 35 foot tall pentagon and lack of impact evidence on the building, to WTC 7 being demoed, to the free falling characteristics of WTC 1 & 2, and the airplane high jacking drills that happened to be performed on the same day as well as the confiscation and destruction on of video and audio evidence at the pentagon and air-traffic controllers, foul play is at hand. The people who were murdered deserve better, the first responders who are suffering from diseases and cancers deserve better, the American people deserve better!

Not much to say here. After the initial destruction the 'facts' failed to explain the results and I searched further for answers as to why. What I found is that the entire explanation by the our government and Executive Branch felt contrived and false. After viewing independent documentaries I came to the conclusion that it was an attack planned by members of our own government in order to establish control and power over the people and give the Executive Branch of our government the power to ignore the Constitution in the false name of National Security.

I have no relevant technical background but observed the events of 9/11 from Brooklyn Heights where I was visiting my daughter on her birthday. I am a Columbia University college graduate and, at the time of 9/11, had recently retired from a 35-year career as a film-maker and producer of television documentaries, mostly for public television.
