To the Members of the House of Representatives and of the Senate of the United States of America,
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

The official story does NOT scientifically explain the collapse of WTC 7, the Twin Towers, nor the findings of nano-thermite in the wreckage/dust, nor the molten steel that jet fuel fires cannot possibly burn at temperatures high enough to cause. Ground Zero should have been treated as a crime scene, but the wreckage was quickly removed - why was this allowed?

Richard Gage and others have done respectful jobs presenting so many obvious contradictions - and I applaud them. My genuine, enthused knowledge of all things 1687-Newtonian, coupled with awareness and wisdom I've acquired through the good graces of wise sages/mentors - as well as through completion of many proving-ground practicums in the 'school of hard knocks' - has forever relegated me to the contingent of those who not only question...but emphatically refuse to accept the official story. Besides the elementary, fatal flaw of that 'story' instantly and irrefutably outed by the freefall-speed collapse of all three skyscrapers - I'm troubled by apparent lack of attention to and scientific respect for some other digitally archived evidentiary issues. After the JP8 fuel was consumed and the fires were oxygen/fuel starved (clearly so by virtue of the billowing, black plumes of smoke emitting from both Tower 1 and 2), at the moments just before collapses began - there were clearly significant, circumferential rings of explosions manifested in huge yellow/orange/red fireballs that erupted through the clouds of pulverized concrete that appeared so suddenly. What were the sources of THOSE explosions sans JP8? Then, after one studies the looped-video collapse of the Tower embedded on Richard's AE911Truth site...I would ask that attention be drawn to the lower left-hand corner near the end of the collapse sequence. One can observe several - but one significant - explosive plumes that emit upward and outward from the center of the Tower. These plumes reach skyward, arch and peak, and then fall back toward the earth by virtue of gravity. If every action has an equal and opposite reaction, and when one reflects on projectile-motion properties - I would ask what (obvious) forces existed that created those plumes. I believe aerial pics of this collapse clearly show multiple plumes emanating from the center of the Tower, virtually encircling the core like Medusa dreadlocks. Frankly, there are so many fundamental aspects related to laws of science that prove beyond any reasonable doubt that their was controlled demolition - I'm flabbergasted as to how so many in the engineering/architecture/scientific community can possibly remain on the sidelines when the 'rationale' for far too many hideous, global realities was-is-remains all-things 911.

The chisels have been hit billions of times onto their head with slash hammers during the 18th century while our railroad system was build, where back then the steel was not that advanced as in the twin towers and they got hit and hit and hit and never got any of them pulverized. How come on 911 two steel structures, each sticking out like a huge chisel into the air get hammered once on the side and these 48 chisels shaped like two letters of H molten on two legs together and having a with of 6 inch, get to be pulverized onto their ground. That is not possible without explosives embedded into the sections of the huge chisels. In addition if you look at the videos, evidence captured on that day, you would be very soon aware that the buildings were not collapsing, rather they were exploding in all directions and pulverized extremely similar to material or matter that had been exposed to explosives. It is time for us to open an independent investigation into 911 and bring everything into day light; instead insisting that it was orchestrated by terrorist. If 911 is really orchestrated by terrorists than there shall be nothing to be scared of an independent investigation. Thank you.

Bought into the bush conspiracy immediately and thought nothing more about it until I was looking for some images of the world trade centers towers in July 2007 and came across the vast amount of info on the net about the incidents and the alternate theories (some very wacky and out there) to what happened. Then I saw both Richards slide show and Steve e Jones power point on the net and found the facts presented did not added up to what had been presented as the truth at the time. When you step back and have over view , what Richard is asking for makes complete sense. The research presented by Richard is sound. Buildings do not collapse the way these three did by themselves.

WTC buildings came down in their footprints with behavior of planned demolitions. Why was WTC 7 pulled when it wasn't hit by jet? This comment by Silverstein indicates a pre-prepared demolition of at least WTC Building 7, if not the other two buildings also. Numerous witnesses (Firemen, police officers, citizens, etc.) have testified that they heard repeated explosions indicating bombs planted throughout building. Testimony and evidence used in the official 9/11 investigation seems selective and incomplete and biased. The hole in Pentagon not big enough for a Boeing 757 to have hit it. In my view, numerous unanswered questions and unscientific analyzes prompt me to call for a new and unbiased investigation to get to the truth of this national tragedy.

The morning of 9/11, I turned on the TV as the first tower fell. Not knowing anything about the jets hitting the towers, I thought that it was a local news feed about a deliberate building demolition. I'm glad I'm not the only one that remembers WTC7! What can I say, other than I've always felt 9/11 to have been a murderous hoax? I follow the peace movement in the United States and although I admire many of the people involved such as David Swanson and Ann Wright, I deplore the movement's hands-off attitude toward 9/11, which is the root and cause of the last decade and a half of global conflict. Without exposing the truth about what happened, and naming the people behind it, peace will allude us. There is one thing that didn't get enough coverage when it was revealed, but is just the same of great importance to those of us trying to make sense of 9/11. I was living in Boston at the time of the attack, and can remember my initial reaction to the news reports as the buildings came down: Wow. That looks like a demolition. Upon further research, the facts pertaining to historical precedent surrounding the destruction of steel-framed buildings due to fire (there is none); the temperature at which jet-fuel, paper, fabric, wood, etc. burns compared to the temperature at which steel is compromised; and the odd fact the WTC7 was not even impacted by an airplane and the fire in that building seemed under control-- all these issues bring up deep questions about the veracity of the official story. Further, the events that have taken place on a global stage under the pretense of preventing another 9/11--the Iraq war, the Bush administration's relationships in the region and with domestic corporate entities-- raise further questions about how an event like 9/11 might in fact be advantageous in implementing certain policies that would otherwise not gain public support.

An American 26 years young. I've lived in Saint Louis my whole life and made the decision to become a writer at age 12. Throughout history, there has never been a recorded incidence when an airplane struck a modern skyscraper, and the fires resulting from the crash caused the building to collapse. Those towers were made with construction-grade steel that were tempered to withstand fires hotter than the jet fuel used to fuel the planes could neither maintain nor even reach. Yet the building collapsed at near free-fall speed and landed in a straight line, in the same manner as a controlled demolition. In addition, there are several recorded incidents by both civilians and reporters of explosions being heard in the WTC area after the initial impacts. I also fail to understand why the black boxes of the planes were never recovered, or why weeks after the tragedy there were still hot-spots(allegedly caused by thermite) where the vertical steel supports once stood.

I had a job as a temp on the 80th fl. of the first bldg. I left that job 3 weeks before it blew up. I didn't like the job or I would have been there. I had a friend that encouraged me to leave the job. I was watching it from 20 blocks away - and I thought it odd that one moment I was watching it burn and then it just collapsed straight down in seconds! I thought if it were burning wouldn't it take a long time to burn? Especially made of all that iron? My background is in magazine and directory publishing (10+ years). What I value most from this experience (particularly in trade publishing) is discovering how it is possible to convince the public of something's reality in complete defiance of facts or probability by relying mainly on consensus and unchallenged authority.
I'm as uncomfortable with the implications of why it happened and what has been done in its name, as with the improbability that it could have happened the way it is officially claimed.

I am gravely concerned about the impossibility of the official story, that 2 airplanes somehow managed to knock down 3 steel framed buildings into their own footprints at nearly free fall speeds, but then, all of the evidence was swiftly removed. the repercussions of this official falsehood are still being felt in an ever expanding circle of fear mongering, wars and lies. We need to re-examine as well the policies and actions that were enacted based upon a serious fiction, yet how much easier this will be when the fiction itself is revealed as such, it will be a small but crucial step in reclaiming our ability to breathe easier and think critically and clearly, to bring light and truth to all this terrifying and tortured darkness.

I've been a writer and poet for many years in San Francisco. Active in the spoken word scene, and supporter of the 9/11 truth movement since early 2004. My photos have been in numerous shows, and two books by RE/Search Publications. Also, for what it's worth: four years of college (liberal arts). I have been working as a part-time legal assistant for a criminal defense attorney (specializing in the death penalty).
I had doubts about the official cover-up story of 9/11 early on - the absence of the Air Force made no sense, and neither did the way the buildings came down. There is a photo of a woman standing in the jagged opening that one of the planes made in one of the towers - which suggests that the fires were cooling down and the buildings would have survived the plane crash - except for the fact that explosives had been planted in the building. Nothing else could have made them collapse the way they did. This happened in broad daylight and yet many people still want to believe the myth rather than the truth (partly because the truth is more disturbing). Reminds me of what Galileo was up against - with the church saying people had to be protected from certain facts, such as the earth not being the center of the universe. Somehow we are able to live with that knowledge, as future generations will be able to live with the knowledge of what really happened on 9/11.

Like everyone else I watched the collapse of the world trade center, over and over again on TV. Had no particular theory of how they collapsed, since the media didn't present any of that. Mostly it brought us human interest stories. I must admit, when I look at the pictures now, it seems odd to see such incredible damage resulting from the impact. When that small plane hit the Empire State building, it caused very little damage, and I remember thinking about that. Since I saw the presentation here, (admittedly I have no technical knowledge in this area) I feel quite strongly that that you have shown us is plausible and seems to indicate an engineered destruction more powerful than anything the planes could have caused. It is a chilling story you have to tell!

I am a honors graduate with a degree in English Language & Literature; I am a writer, not an architect or engineer. However, I have reviewed the evidence and arguments put forward by 'Architects & engineers for 9/11 Truth' and find it compelling and convincing on grounds of scientific evidence, not political motivation. The laws of physics, it seems, were suspended for one day only, on September 11th 2001. Only an examination of the physics can explain how that could have happened.
Never before has a steel framed concrete skyscraper collapsed like that due to fire. Never. But on September 11th 2001 it happened three times in one day; and one of them wasn't even hit by a plane. Impossible. Then there's the multiple explosions and nano thermite/thermate residue and pools of molten steel still flowing days later. a building fire or jet fuel fire simply cannot produce anywhere near that kind of heat. The official story tells us one thing, but an alarming body of evidence tells a horribly different story. The appointment of Philip Zelikow as Director of the 9/11 Commission is no coincidence: just look into the man's background in 'using public myths to shape views of history' especially in the context of 'catastrophic terrorism'. He sounds like the expert on false flag operations and how to implant a lie into the public consciousness, doesn't he?

I'm a native New Yorker. I have no technical experience, just intuition and the right as an American to voice my opinion and ask for a legitimate investigation into this. It should not be done under the guise or guidance of those in the government. They are supposed to serve us, the people of America. We pay them. They work for us. Therefore, we should have a private investigation and hold all of them accountable. I'm tired of this rogue corrupt process. Who do they think we are? We are intelligent and awake people, and we deserve and demand the truth and justice!
I watched the collapses live in New York City and just had an internal knowing that it just was NOT possible. I DO NOT believe that the truth of the story could have been delivered so quickly in the media unless this was a staged event.

The free fall, symmetrical, vertical collapse of the towers seems to me to be the most compelling evidence. Also, the evidence of Thermite in the dust, and the pools of molten metal seem to me to be very strong evidence.
