PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I am a retired Engineer. I have a BS and MS in Civil Engineering and a PhD in Engineering Mechanics. I have worked as a structural analyst in the offshore oil industry and as a viscoelastic materials expert working on the redesign of the Solid Rocket Boosters following the Challenger disaster. I have also been on the engineering faculties of the University of Illinois (1967-1970) and Mississippi State University (1970-1980).
It is utterly impossible for a modern, properly designed high-rise building to collapse due to localized fires of only a few hours duration. Steel buildings are required to have fireproofing material on all structural members which is designed to prevent the steel from experiencing severely high temperatures for many hours. I believe that a thorough finite-element analysis of all of the WTC buildings (pretty expensive analysis which I do not have the money or computer facilities to undertake) would demonstrate that no reasonable scenario would cause WTC7 to collapse symmetrically except the simultaneous failure of all columns as in a controlled demolition.

It would be impossible to accomplish that degree of destruction, and the sequence of events, by the relatively mere impact of jet airplanes and the resulting fires fueled only by jet fuel, which could never soften or melt steel support structures. There is also an unprecedented array of events that indicate a carefully premeditated and executed sequence of events that belie the official conclusions of the original 9/11 commission. Why was there such a rush to remove and destroy physical evidence from the scene, to prevent a proper forensic investigation of such an unprecedented disaster?

Army Air Corp B-25 crashing into the Empire state building, loaded with 100 octane AV Gas and only damage a handful full of floors with minor structural consequence. A much hotter burning fuel.

Since the events on 9/11, we have been shown impossible 'evidence' from the authorities, and contradicting, provable evidence from the scientific community which clearly and factually indicates the controlled demolition of the WTC buildings. I do not accept the official story. The independent structural analysis of Building 7's collapse is compelling. The propaganda of the mainstream media about the event has injured the collective psyche of North American and world populations. The trillions of dollars spent on wars that were 'justified' by the mission to 'defeat terrorism' (of 9/11, etc.) represent costs of hunger, misery, and death that would have been foregone had the United States chosen to develop other industries than those for weapons. Any reasonable, thinking human being can see the official 9/11 story does not match the evidence. There should be more intact rubble, for example. I am still in disbelief. I have read a lot of 'ae991truth.org and many other sites and documentaries.. almost all of them..... I have been, since I was stuck in downtown Manhattan on 9/11/01. trying to figure out what really went on that day. I never understood why the towers should have fallen, let alone bldg. no. 7 later that evening.. totally incomprehensible.
