PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

Supposedly there had been a major structural steel frame building collapse at near free fall speed due to very minor structural damage and fire only (WTC 7). If that was actually the case then at the very least the structural building codes should be reviewed and revised as needed. And then with that new code in hand every steel-frame high-rise building in the country should be evaluated with probably most of them requiring retrofitting and redesign. Do you see any of this activity? Wouldn't that be the responsible action to take if WTC 7 and the other buildings had actually failed as the official government story? - - - - The buildings were brought down - that's not a conspiracy theory, that's a fact.

I'm a software engineer, who has worked for a decade on project for the UK's National Air Traffic Control Systems.
Although software engineering is quite far from architecture, I can follow scientific arguments, and have helped with the writing of a number of research papers in which theories were suggested, then tested with experiments and conclusions drawn. While I do not posses a degree, I do have the equivalence of a BSEE degree specializing in RF (Radio Frequency) with satellite communications. My current title is Engineer II. I have worked at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory from 2002 to 2009 and have a 27 year career in RF propagation. It is clear from my own research into the matter that the government is not telling us the whole story about 9/11. This does not imply 9/11 was a government conspiracy, but it does mean that important facts are being withheld from a public that has a right to know them. I believe the focus should be on Building 7, which underwent a symmetrical collapse that did not account for the mass resistance of the vertical pillars that were designed to hold the building up in the first place.

Since about a week after the 9/11 bombing, I have thought that it was an inside job, by our own government. You might ask, why would our government want to do such a thing? My theory is that they knew we would be entering a protracted period of war in the Middle East to maintain control of world oil. The American public was very much against going to war, ever since Vietnam. The 9/11 bombing did, to a great extent, ignite war fever in this country, especially since they have conducted the war(s) without reviving the draft.

During 9/11/01, I was away on business in France, working with a partner company there. Not knowing French (I was escorted around work with translators), I could only understand the photographic TV accounts in my hotel room for the days that followed. Having previously seen many times the free fall nature of purposely demolished buildings, I instantly surmised that the terrorists had somehow accessed the buildings and planted charges to ensure that they would fall. What didn't make sense to me was, if the terrorists had gone to that kind of trouble to plant demolition charges in the building, why would they even bother flying a plane into the buildings? When I finally got back to the US, I was amazed that there was no talk or investigation of this possible cause of the buildings' collapse.

I read once that very tall buildings were equipped with explosive devices that would actuate on sufficient impact to ensure the structure would pancake down instead of falling sideways and taking out everything next to it. Might this not be a heat activated system instead to weaken the steel causing flat descent? That would explain the sulfur, and might be viewed as more earthquake proof.

Concert sound engineer for 22 years. I understand resistance and that there should have been some resistance to slow the buildings' collapse. I also understand that no other steel structures have collapsed due to fire; they are built to withstand fire to prevent loss of human life and property.

Grew up in the 60's/70's with conservative parents who believed there was an invisible government. Attended Trenton State College for 2 years majoring in biology. I don't believe the story we've been told. I believe our own government either was in on the planning or knew about it and chose to ignore it. I believe thermite was used to bring them down because it makes no sense otherwise. I believe building 7 housed a lot of the intel that went into how it was planned and carried out, and that it (bldg 7) was a controlled demolition in order to destroy evidence. We need to know the truth so we can stop the partisan squabbling and move forward as a united country that strives for nothing but peace in the world.

Looking at the video and photos of the rescue workers, it all seems clear to me now: the first responders are seen working in a relatively short pile of rubble where a huge 25 story high mountain of rubble and compressed floors should have been. I can't subscribe to any one 'conspiracy theory', but after looking at the data, history of building collapses, and views from those in the architectural/engineering/science professions, I strongly urge our government to seriously and objectively look into 911. This would be money well spent. Our country needs the truth. Even if we find facts we don't want to face, we have always had the ability as a nation to get up, brush off, make corrections, and move on. To bury the truth for ""the good"" of the country would be a huge mistake."

From day one it was clear to me that the kerosine fires could not be resposible for the total colapse of the two buildings, nor for the almost free fall. Al three towers show the karakteristics of controled demolition. That would mean that everything was prepared long in advance. The many questions that occure ask for an explenation and further investigations wil have to give the answers .

I have a Bachelor of Science degree from Brooklyn College, and have thoroughly researched the events of 9/11 and its aftermath.
There is no doubt in my mind that the events of 9/11 were either allowed to happen or made to happen. I don't believe in coincidences, and if the Twin Towers did not go down, along with Tower 7, then there is a good chance that the attacks and regime removals of Afghanistan and Iraq would not have been allowed to happen by Congress and the American people. Those two events have reshaped the entire world in this century. As Fareed Zakaria said ten years after 9/11, ''The day on 9/11, the world was at peace, and the United States strode that world like a Colossus. It posted a large budget surplus. Oil was at $28 a barrel. The Chinese economy was a fifth the size of America's. Today, America is at war across the globe; it has a deficit of $1.5 trillion and oil is at $115 a barrel. China is now the world's second largest economy.' The Towers had to go.

Regarding 9/11/2001: on Sept 10, 2001, Secretary of Defense Rumsfeld announced that $2.5 trillion had 'mysteriously' disappeared from the Pentagon and ordered an investigation to begin the next day, and all the witnesses to appear at the top of the Twin Towers in the World Trade Center at 9 AM on 9/11/2001. All the witnesses died when the towers collapsed, and later that day all the documentation in that investigation was destroyed when Building 7, a third tower that was not hit by aircraft, collapsed just like a controlled demolition about 5:20 PM. No witnesses + no documentation = no investigation!

Born the son of a chemical engineer who became a construction tycoon. Former AT&T Programmer (1971) turned into a builder. As a 1st responder, I did rescue and recovery at the WTC for 19-days until I became disabled with a lower back injury from a fall into the pile.
WTC #7 was pulled at 5:17 pm - NOT 5:20 pm. I was about 500 feet from there. I ran into a building and laid 'low'. I was diagnosed with COPD in 2002.

It has taken me years to accept even the possibility that the destruction of the Twin Towers was anything more than a foreign terrorist attack. But the degradation of the morality, loyalty, patriotism and intelligence of our elected officials ' across the board -- that has come to light over the past 20 years has made me question everything. The clear, unambiguous, scientific analysis of the events of 9/11 by so many architects and engineers has me convinced that the buildings had been engineered (or retrofitted) to take advantage of such an attack, of which one or more intelligence agencies had foreknowledge. It shames me to think our government capable of such treasonous acts. And, it leaves me to wonder what other buildings/monuments across the country have been so designed to take advantage of other similar attacks. Living downwind of a nuclear power plant just north of NYC makes that possibility all the more frightening.
