To the Members of the House of Representatives and of the Senate of the United States of America,
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

Burning fuel inside a cylinder only reaches about 1200 to 1500 degrees. Steel does not fail at such temperatures, otherwise internal combustion engines would be impossible to operate. Having worked at Windows on the World, I know that 20 to 50 thousand workers do not present themselves in the towers at that hour of the morning as reported by the press. These assertions by the press were repeated across all channels of broadcasting and print, and could only have come from a central propaganda feed.

I am familiar with a wide variety of evidence contradicting the official account of 9/11. In particular, I believe that currently available evidence strongly suggests that the World Trade Center towers were brought down with the use of explosives; that one of the explosives used was some form of thermite, or a thermite-like material; that building 7 (WTC 7) was brought down by explosives in a more-or-less classic controlled demolition, also including the use of thermite or a thermite-like material, in addition, possibly, to other explosives. Of particular note, as evidence, was the long burning fires and heat at the three building sites. Of particular note, as evidence, are many facts and situations that strongly suggest a cover-up of evidence pointing towards the explosive hypothesis. I believe that the NIST report on the WTC towers failed to fulfill its mandate, and included significant elements of bogus science. I believe that the NIST report on WTC 7 is inadequate, and fails to convincingly prove that the fires present prior to collapse were the cause of the collapse; that the analysis used has not been shown to be validated; and that the basic theory is a long and implausible scientific reach.

I worked in Tower 2 and was in my office when the first plane hit Tower 1. I was outside, hugging the wall of Tower 2 as the second plane hit Tower 2 directly over my head. With debris raining down, I was forced to re-enter the building to find an alternate exit. As a consequence of my personal experience, I have paid closer attention than most to subsequent investigations and reports pertaining to 9/11. I do not believe that the official report as it now stands is completely accurate. For example, it has ignored and omitted significant forensic and eyewitness evidence, which has perverted its conclusions. Planes alone did not bring down 3 World Trade Center buildings; controlled explosions using thermite did. While my personal experience puts me closer to the events of 9/11 than my fellow citizens, I claim no more right to the truth than any other American; but we do deserve the truth, no matter how horrific, and no matter how many politicians and bureaucrats are brought down as a consequence. Our political class has been acting in its own interests, ignoring the interests of the populace, for far too long. If we wish to maintain our country as a sovereign nation, subject to the will of its people, the corruption in our political class must be eliminated. Getting to the truth of 9/11 would be a start.

During the events on 9/11 I was in 8th grade, returning to class on social studies, to discover my teacher lying on the floor in dismay at what was being presented on the television. Immediately upon viewing the news, I felt strange about what I was witnessing. The buildings were collapsing in upon themselves, not toppling, and having a broad understanding of physics I knew immediately an airplane could not cause an implosion of that magnitude. Buildings at the heights of the twin towers are designed to sway to accommodate for wind, so, at best, if an aircraft struck the upper half of the building it would have come to rest, NOT causing hundreds of floors to explode.

I was home, in Orangeburg South Carolina the morning of 11 September 2001. I was awoken by a friend who shouted to me 'we are at war, turn on the television.' I watched the supposedly 'live' coverage on the television of the destruction of the towers in New York City, and the attack on the Pentagon. And also the report of the plane crash in Shanksville, Pennsylvania. My initial reaction was to believe the accounts of the towers falling under their own power. I was also present when the television broadcast the image of building seven being demolished. Without further comment on the witness statements from the television, I can personally attest that after studiously researching the mentioned book, that the twin towers were demolished through a series of explosions. The construction of the retaining walls and the support walls all the way through the 110th floor incontrovertibly prove that the towers could not have fallen from the heights that the planes hit supposedly. They had been demolished. The construction was too solid for those towers to fall on their own power.

My next door neighbor, a member of Ladder 4 NYCFD was murdered on Sept. 11, 2001. A friend of mine, a member of The Peekskill Police Dept. subsequently died of injuries received during clean-up activities. Another person close to me was injured.
