PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

As I learned in school and in the industry about Material Science that for the towers to fall, the steel in the towers needed to reach their yielding load before reaching their tensile capacity and then they could finally fail..I hope that a new investigation addresses these basic concepts!

I hear from both sides and more and more people begin to lean toward the something wasn't right about the event side. I have studied building destruction, for visual effects reasons, and have found that the way the buildings' collapse just doesn't make any real sense. There is something behind all of this that doesn't add up. Too many holes in the 9/11 commission report. I just want, like everyone else on this site and elsewhere, another investigation that just shows the WHOLE truth in written plain black and white American-English. That's all.

World Trade Centers 1 and 2 fell at the speed of gravity, with none of the concrete supporting below the fire line impeding it's progress in ANY way. The buildings did not simply just grown, roll and break over the edge of the fire line level as would be the natural expectation. There has been much not said about the subterranean explosions heard prior to the buildings falling into their own footprint. WTC7 was far more blatant in that it was imploded. Early (same day) reports from the ground, to clear the area by foreign accent troops that were recorded, played, and never shown again by it's own right show prior knowledge of the planned destruction. Not to mention the obvious way that this building was de-pillared and forced to drop straight down, (where the claims are that 60-some pillars would have had to strategically given way simultaneously). Educated, savvy, and average people raise an eye to the fact that never before, and never since Sep 11 2001, has any concrete and steel building ever fallen due to fire, let alone fire only burning for 1 to 7 hours. CRITICAL THINKING IS NOT A CRIME!!!

The formation of my technical understanding and political awareness were formed primarily during the time I spent in Berkeley, California (1968-1973) while I was an undergraduate student at U.C. Berkeley. While I was studying computer science, I was also working on a communications controller for the Department of Civil Engineering that became the nucleus of the remote job entry system to the campus mainframe computer in a number of campus departments and service entities (Dept. of Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, School of Business, Survey Research Center, Space Science Lab, etc.). During the time I was working on that project, the country was in the throes of fighting the Vietnam war against the Soviet empire, and much of my education took place in observing what was happening in the streets adjoining the Berkeley campus, near where I was living. Through classes and late night conversations, I became aware of the reality that the U.S. government and political system is not at all like what I had learned as a child in social studies classes. I subsequently moved to Canada, though I had by then become exempt from the draft (initially due to a student deferment and then by having declared myself eligible to be drafted and requesting to be placed into the 1A category through the end of the current calendar year). I lived in Vancouver, British Columbia, where I worked for Simon Fraser University as a technical assistant in the Computer Science Program and took classes at the University of British Columbia. I later worked for the University of Waterloo in the province of Ontario, working for the Math Faculty Computing Facility and taking additional Computer Science classes. (It was at the U of W that I first learned about the UNIX operating system, being responsible for system administration duties on a departmental machine.) Since returning to the U.S. in 1978, I have lived and worked in the Washington, D.C., Rochester, New York and (presently) Boston, Massachusetts area, where I now work when possible on a contract basis doing web-based software development. I have known of the work of Richard Gage since about 2007, by means of low-quality video images I downloaded from a Bittorrent source. I have been formally affiliated with the organization since October, 2010, following my attendance at a presentation Richard made at the Unitarian Church in Harvard Square in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
I cannot reconcile what is known about the actual collapse of buildings 1, 2 and 7 of the World Trade Center complex on 11 September 2001 with what has been said in reports of the 9/11 Commission, NIST and other government sponsored or sanctioned investigations, analysis and studies concerning the cause of those buildings' collapse. In particular, the symmetrical collapse of all three buildings, freefall acceleration and lateral high-speed ejection of heavy structural members, among other things, is completely inconsistent with what we have been told about fire and impact related weakening of structural supports. As to the collection of explosive residue at the building site, if what has been collected is in fact from the site (or even highly likely to be from the site), it must be accounted for and investigated by competent investigators in the body we are demanding be established to investigate all aspects of the 9/11 events. I would expect that a forensics investigation would be capable at that time of establishing a clear provenance of evidence trail with respect to that material. I support A&E for 9/11 Truth in its bringing to public attention the research now being done to examine and attempt to understand as much as possible about the material that has been collected by various amateur investigators, some of whom (e.g. Drs Niels Harrit and Steven Jones) are highly qualified to offer expert opinion (especially in the case of Harrit and Jones the exotic nano-thermite material) as to its possible role in the destruction of the WTC buildings. The simple high degree of probability that this material has in fact been collected from the site and what appears to be clear, if not completely convincing evidence of its role in the building destruction is an additional reason to demand the new investigation. I am, however, unsure whether the analysis done to date meet the standard of beyond a reasonable doubt which AE911Truth is presently claiming, or whether such a standard, taken from the lexicon of criminal law, is appropriate in what is presently an informal forensics examination being conducted by intelligent, competent, yet non-authoritative volunteer investigators. I am also concerned that in advancing such a claim, AE911Truth may be exposing itself unnecessarily if additional facts are later discovered that serve to bring the specifics now being talked about with regard to that evidence into question. In addition, I feel that by advocating any theory, rather than positioning itself primarily as a critic of the official theory, AE911Truth puts itself in the position of being called on continually to defend propositions the details of which lie outside the primary expertise of the architects and engineers whose voice it claims to represent in this matter. I feel that the public must be informed about the existence of explosives evidence and how that evidence might explain certain observed phenomena concerned with the WTC building collapses. I feel that AE911Truth is as well positioned as any other organization to describe this evidence and tentative conclusions made on its basis, even if there are a number of good reasons to avoid issuing proclamations involving words like proof. I recognize and acknowledge that knowledge of this aspect of the matter is likely to be effective in drawing public attention, especially in this age in which there are so many demands upon that attention. However, I feel that the work of this organization would not be seriously compromised were this evidence and the arguments made for it by those who have done first hand research simply laid out in as much detail as might be necessary to explain the implications of such material being involved in the building's destruction. I feel that a proper investigation, with full access to all relevant evidence, in the context of the new investigation we are calling for is the proper venue for doing the sort of analysis that can lead to such definitive conclusions, and I will do what I can to assist in establishing the conditions under which the new investigation I join in calling for can become a reality. I am an adult IT student who takes pride in using research and fact. I find too many inconsistencies between the official findings and the known scientific data to accept the official public explanation of 911.
Until someone can explain the free-fall-like speed with which the towers fell, I will not accept the official explanation. Building 7 is highly suspect as well, and I also believe that the insurance payout due to the destruction of these building should be researched more heavily.

If the steel were softened and with the structural fractures from the planes the top of the building should have fallen off to the side not straight down. Also what about Building 7? Take a semi trailer full of new cars and stand it up vertically. Take 2 other cars and drop them from a distance of 30 feet onto the top of the semi. Watch the 2 cars crush down the semi trailer to a pancake size. Then watch the two cars subsequently flatten to a pancake size from the crush up. Ask a first grader if that could actually happen.

I have worked in civil architecture and land survey (engineering), am an inventor/designer and professionally create 2-d and 3-d AutoCAD drawings and photo-realistic renderings. I have taken basic engineering courses and have a good working knowledge of physics and construction. I understand the buildings to have been brought down and out by controlled demolition through the use of high-powered and timed explosives, and that the evidence was subsequently removed from the scene of the crime to the best of the perpetrators abilities.

Being an avid fan of the truth and history research, I have always been very skeptical of our government. Our forefathers warned us about exactly what is happening here in America (private centralized banks gaining all monetary powers when the constitution forbids that type of practice, unconstitutional & un-apportioned taxes being implemented to tax our labor, such as the income tax, Obama and his zombie administration trying to cripple the first and second amendment, etc. etc.) and hopefully, we the people and our elected congress will not take what they warned us about in vain.
I just find it very odd that low-heat burning fuel, like kerosene based jet fuel, can burn hot enough to melt steel and concrete columns, NEAR THE TOP OF THE TOWERS, to sufficiently weaken the structural integrity to bring those two towers falling at free-fall speeds. Any grade-school-er can see the collapse physics just don't add up to the official story. Then, on top of that, you have the CHIEF ENGINEER expressing his doubts of the official story as well, not to mention ALL THE WONDERFUL ENGINEERS AND SCIENTISTS that also express their doubts.

Having watched the two hour presentation I don't see how any other conclusion can be reached about the buildings. If the science is correct, the buildings were demolished intentionally.

I've grown up in San Jose California and lived here all my life. I attended Tracy Elementary, Hoover Middle School, Lincoln High School, took Jazz improvisation at San Jose City College and computer aided drafting at Evergreen Community College. I've worked as a part time musician for 20 years and have had a few full time jobs, ranging from construction, meat cutter to independent contractor for water damage restoration. I never gave much thought to how the Twin Towers came down until recently, I always thought it was staged but wasn't going to react unless there was solid evidence. A few weeks ago my cousin sent me a CD of the Architects & Engineers for 911truth and there it was, plain as day, solid evidence. I thought the specialist did an outstanding job explaining how the Twin Towers and building 7 came down using architectural engineering expertise, science & physics to explain how what we've been told as true needed to be reexamined.

I am an average citizen. Married, children and work hard. I have reviewed NIST, FEMA and 9/11 commission report and find all lacking. The need for a true and independent investigation is needed. I have worked in the field of computers and construction for many years. I attended LaGrange high and Lee College. I have intently studied the issue of Bldg 7 and in now way find NIST report with merit.
These events were the darkest in this Nations history. The destruction of the WTC will forever be embedded in my mind. What will also be embedded is the fact that i feel there is very strong evidence that this was conducted or facilitated by members of the United States Government. Through NIST, the Federal Government has committed one of the most incredible crimes in history. It is time that those responsible, those truly responsible, payed for their actions.

The sudden, huge amount of energy demonstrated, such as instant, complete pulverization of about everything and cutting of the major steel beams (not heating and bending), can only be accounted for by a large amount of explosives. The official 9/11 story smelled rotten to me from the beginning. I have examined the government's official 911 report, and it completely omits any mention that WTC-7 collapsed a few hours after WTC-1 and 1 collapsed. I believe all three buildings were demolished by explosives.
