PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I have been at MTSU for the last 16 years and taught a variety of courses mostly in electronics, microprocessors, and analog and digital systems. I believe there are many lingering questions about the 9/11 report and investigation. Many of these questions are based on very basic and fundamental laws of physics. I have a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Penn State University. I worked for a developer (commercial and residential) for two years after graduating. During my engineering courses I studied structures with Harry West, an excellent structural engineering professor. During that semester, we did a case study on the disaster that happened at the Hyatt Regency in Kansas City in the 80's. I recently looked up the information about the event (in particular when I was watching Mr. Gage's videos about WTC 7 and the 9/11 disaster in general) and was surprised to discover that the Kansas City disaster was the biggest structural steel failure, in terms of loss of life, until 9/11! I wonder what engineering students have to study now when the facts about 9/11 are so unclear and decidedly incorrect in the government version that NIST released. Why can't we get a proper investigation into these events that addresses the real facts presented to us, like free fall collapse through path of greatest resistance. It's nonsense that the government would even have high school students believe such stuff, let alone advanced university engineering students. Please include my name in your petition. I think the victims of this disaster and the subsequent victims (both US soldiers and Iraqi citizens and US citizens in general) deserve the truth.
I was shocked to see the scientific facts that Mr. Gage presented regarding the collapse of WTC 7. It should be obvious even to laypeople that the collapse was a controlled demolition. Even newscasters of the day reported they thought that was what they were seeing. Why is the government hiding the truth from us? It is obvious that explosives, at the very least, were used; more than likely, based on the finding of the microspheres of iron in the dust, the incendiary thermite was used. I am not a 'truther' or kookspiracist. I simply have an engineering background and am amazed that people who see Mr. Gage's presentations would think that he is making things up: that the laws of physics took a break on that September day. I now think and feel so differently about our government and even about agencies like NIST and the ASCE that have failed the engineering community on this incident. Why didn't these agencies explain the obvious fallacies and discrepancies present in those events? I feel betrayed by our government. I also feel a deep sense of distrust for such agencies that have the responsibility to protect the general public by providing unbiased and truthful investigations into incidents that harm and kill us citizens. I remember studying the Kansas City Hyatt disaster in engineering school. We were taught about the consequences of negligence in our work as engineers, how loss of life and property can occur as a result of poor work on our part as engineers. How can current day engineering students look at 9/11 and learn anything when so many paradoxes and controversies surround it? Our government needs to reopen the investigation and find out what really happened. So many lives have been lost and continue to be lost as a result of the rash decisions and outcomes based on what was perceived to have happened, most of which is unsubstantiated by facts and scientific laws that must not be disregarded. I wholeheartedly support Mr. Gage's movement to get a new investigation, and I hope he is able to achieve what he has set out to do: reveal the truth.

I am very concerned about the official story about the collapse of the towers in New York. The reasons are many. One reason in particular is that a similar sky rise in Caracas, Venezuela caught on fire. The fire could not be contained and therefore the fire department had to let it die on its own. The building burned for 18 hours straight with an intense flame. After the fire, the steel structure remained standing. I was shocked to see that the Twin towers in NY collapsed and pulverized so quickly after the planes hit them. About building 7, why did it fall? No plane hit it. They said they had to pull it. How long does it take a crew of demolition experts to prepare a building to implode it? As far as I understand it takes about a month to 6 weeks to prepare a building that size to be pulled down.

In my private life, I'm a student of history and science, particularly in the areas of physics and math. As someone who has always been fascinated by physics, I could not believe from that fateful day to today, that not one but three steel buildings fell from seemingly negligible, albeit, horrible looking, damage. When reports came out that there was little remaining of the buildings with the exception of steel, I was shocked. I expected that large chunks of the building would have remained intact in the rubble pile. And, when the official report came out that fires were responsible, I was flabbergasted. If this is true, I thought, wouldn't the thousands of other steel structures around the world be in jeopardy as well? The way that the three buildings were summarily destroyed has never sat well with me.

Doubting the official story is easy. What is especially troubling is that collapse generally implies a dropping down and, notably, without a clear exploding outward in all directions. The word collapse should not be the primary term to describe the demolition of the two towers.

About 4 years ago I learned about building 7 that came down at 5:20. I instinctively new at that moment it was fraud. The other red flag I've always tried point out to people is that we are to believe that known terrorist groups who have a long long history of using bombs as a weapon of choice suddenly 1 day out of decades of using bombs they manage to get a hold some airplanes fly them into our building and then go back to using bombs. There is compelling scientific evidence that WTC 1 and 2, as well as Building 7, fell as a result of controlled demolition. Considering the heat, the block, pulverized material test results, velocity and acceleration of individual reference points as well as actual video footage and its resultant comparison with videos of other controlled demolitions - how can this be ignored? How can a study stop with initiation of impact? An independent study is clearly warranted.

g, the standard value of Earth's gravitational acceleration at sea level (9.81 m/s2) is a well known constant. Because any student can time the free fall and see that the roof of all 3, especially building 7, falls at near free fall speed, the most logical conclusion is there was zero resistance. That combined with a neat fall into its own footprint leads to one conclusion: a controlled demolition.

To anybody who read George Orwell's 1984, our post 9/11 world must seem a familiar place. We now have the Ministry of Truth, NIST, rewriting history and telling us 2+2 equals 5. It is this perversion of simple science by NIST that makes me very suspicious, especially their refusal to share data models, which makes no sense other than to support a cover-up. As a programmer, I know how software can be buggy, and how tiny input problems can lead to garbage-in / garbage out. However, even though it seems that with the towers came down our freedom to question authority and openly discuss the events of 911, the fact that it left behind many smoking/loaded guns and a growing army of courageous people speaking out for what's right gives me hope.

Looking at the heat data from NASA, it's clear that molten Steel existed after the collapse. In my opinion, the building was demolished. I'd like to see an official explanation for this based on solid research, not some vague explanation, as if this is not important. I will be very interested in seeing the full building model from Alaska results. The NIST partial model was not based in reality. That is disturbing.

These collapses can have no other explanation than a premeditated deliberate destruction. The implications are dire for the official account and for our democratic society. The WTC7 collapse simply cannot be conjured away by NIST's embarrassing public statements, and that leaves us with the breathtaking conclusion that something similar took place at the buildings actually hit by airplanes. I would prefer not to believe this evidence, it hurts my heart, but the facts are the facts.

I am a Property / Business Developer who actively and intimately participates in the design and construction process of my projects. Over the past 15 years, I have developed more than $186 million in medically based fitness centers, medical office buildings, clinics, etc.
The official version just doesn't add up. As for the twin towers, the straight-down nature of their collapse suggests careful planning and intent. The fact that the columns were of different sizes to support different loads would have caused their initial failure to occur at different rates, thus causing the portion of the structures above the primary damage to fall with some lateral movement. The straight down failure of Building #7 is even more problematic given that external inducement of the damage was asymmetric to the structure.

I am a computer programmer/developer and a local, progressive, peace and justice activist in Sonoma County California.
I watched the entire TV coverage of the planes hitting the twin towers and their subsequent collapse. I was home sick that day watching a show on TV when it was interrupted for news and pictures of the trade center events unfolding. Upon witnessing the collapse, I knew immediately that it was a controlled demolition because I worked for years for nuclear and earthquake PHD engineers and watched several demolitions of large buildings, including the destruction of the old domed stadium in downtown Seattle. There is no way the twin towers in NY came down in under 10 seconds completely into the building's footprints because of fire. In fact, it is still true today that no steel-framed building has ever been caused to collapse because of fire. On top of that, the charges going off at the corners of the building were noticeable, particularly for someone who knows what they are seeing. I do not make any presumptions about who was responsible for any of this or how the building was prepared for the demolition. It is just obvious to me that a demolition is what happened. Therefore I do not believe the government's explanation for the collapse of the building. Because I do not believe the government on this issue, it makes their explanations of anything else suspect. That is very bad for the American people and is one of the major reasons that an investigative inquiry is vital for the American people and for our democracy to be able to move forward.
