PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

The few debris from building 1 and 2 wouldn't have been sufficient to cause building #7 to collapse into the ground the way it has. The official explanation that 'somebody' installed a tank of fuel in an office building fail to explain how the collapse would be possible - a fuel tank may cause fire etc. but not a collapse.

The official explanation of the the 9/11 WTC tower collapses does not answer many technical questions. Why did the towers hit by planes collapse? Why did WTC 7 collapse without being hit by a plane? Why did the towers collapse as if a planned explosive demolition was executed? How did temperatures inside the building reach levels that could melt steel? Why was the majority of material pulverized? A thorough, 3rd party investigation is needed.

The building 7 collapse was obviously a controlled demolition. There was no direct plane crash, and a diesel building fire somehow caused a perfect demolition internal collapse. This was no accident, and to me, completely discredits the official report, and must be investigated and scientifically explained. I would like a release of any and all evidence related to 9/11, so the public can decide. There are many unanswered questions in my mind. How come raw materials from the demolished building are hidden away in warehouses, and not publicly available? Let independent auditors test metal from the wreckage for nano-thermite. Why is there no open scientific scrutiny and study? Why is the public prevented from seeing an analyzing the evidence? Why were air force pilots kept occupied training for the exact scenario (hijacking exercise) the day of the attacks? (air traffic controller saying is this real world, or an exercise). Where are the black boxes? Security footage tapes? Release the pentagon footage - all of it (there must be some hi-res footage not publicly released), showing the crash, to refute claims it was a cruise missile / inside job, and confirm it was a plane. Explain the Pennsylvania crash - why are there no large plane parts? Explain how black boxes can fail to survive all crashes. These are designed to survive, and yet *all* 4 vanished? This isn't possible. If it were, then there are serious problems with black-box design and a national redesign should be in force. Again, science to overcome this exact scenario (crashes) somehow failed? This contradicts the official report, and must be explained. Explain how diesel can melt steel. Modern material science is advanced enough to show jet fuel can't melt steel (1400 degree jet fuel fires can't melt steel at almost 2800 degrees), so how *did* it melt? Refute nano-thermite questions with evidence. Again, why does science contradict the official report? If it is eventually determined nano-thermite was actually used (contrary to the official findings), then go further, and identify who could have done such a thing? On such a massive scale? Undetected? Open up video security footage from inside the buildings to help identify the individuals involved, expose street camera footage to allow vehicles in/out to be identified so we can understand who could have done this and how they pulled it off. Motive and opportunity. Who stood to profit from 9/11? Follow the money trail. This hasn't received enough investigative attention. The whole affair smells of a cover-up. Too much contradiction with science, too many (easily answered) unanswered questions. If there is nothing to hide, why is all the evidence hidden away in private? All of these issues and many more need serious investigation, openly, by the public, which can only happen with access to the evidence in question. Currently there are too many secrets, too much evidence held in secret, preventing people from analyzing the evidence openly, drawing their own conclusions, and thus determining their own truth. Let's make the evidence public, so people can find truth, get closure, and move on once and for all.

I was always uneasy about the WTC collapses, and the more I saw of the evidence, the less I liked the official explanation. As mentioned in my bio, I have worked with structural integrity and fire standards for rail vehicles, and although different in detail, they have significant fundamental similarities to architectural standards. The official report does no credit to the engineering community and is a slur on high rise designers who have had to justify why a plane could destroy a skyscraper, or a fire break out and make a building fall down. As the tragic events at the Grenfell Tower in London last year showed once again, high rise buildings do not fall down from fires. Grenfell was described as looking like 'a candle' yet still survives, but a 47 story building with some smouldering paper falls in on itself? The official explanations for the three WTC buildings are a joke and the engineering community needs to say enough is enough; it's time for the truth.

Free fall collapse of the buildings is not possible without use of explosives. - - - - As the towers collapsed they were turned in to concrete dust and relatively small pieces structural steel. This combined with the almost free fall of the collapsed floors would have reduced the load on the lower floors that were intact, not increased it. So,what caused them to collapse?

Furthermore, having twice been involuntarily pulled from my profession (once in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and currently in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom), I am disturbed that the sole 'legal' justification for such activations of reserve units is the war on terror declared in response to the events of 9-11-01 (Executive Order 13223). From first hand experience, the process of melting solid iron or steel requires enormous amounts of energy either in an arc furnace or a blast furnace. We did not use hydrocarbon fuel or burning office supplies to melt the iron. There is ample evidence on this website to compel a new investigation: molten iron, chemical signatures of thermate, lack of pancaked floors, multiple eye-witness testimonies of explosions before the collapse. Mr. Gage and others like him are heroes for standing up for our country and telling the truth about what really happened on 9/11.

I'm presently a Senior Principal Design Engineer/Manager with over 24 years of broad industry experience in Product and Design Engineering. My initial year at engineering school exposed me to mechanical as well as civil engineering, although my concentration has been on electronic engineering. I've received over 10 US patents which relate to IC design.
It's my understanding that when a building has been destroyed by fire in the course of a crime, then forensic analysis must legally test for the use of accelerants. I believe NIST did not comply with this requirement and the only rigorous xray analysis of the steel ejected from this crime scene found strong evidence which supported the possibility that thermate was present. NIST's final conspiracy theory that thermal expansion was responsible for the collapse of WTC 7 - a new phenomenon. I also found out today that one of the eyewitnesses to explosive forces emanating from the basement of the Twin Towers, Kenny Johannemann, committed suicide - such testimony I feel was never fully considered by the 9/11 Commission and this evidence is rapidly disappearing, or worse, being swept under the carpet. I would like to see an independent inquiry into the unanswered questions regarding what really happened on 9/11 and full accountability of those who were complicit in the events of that day. I consider diversion of our nation's military to a bogus war in Iraq at the height of our nation's response to this attack with extreme suspicion.

My area of study was civil engineering, more specifically structural engineering.
Based on the facts that all three structures collapsed symmetrically as well as the chemical evidence of explosive material found in the dust/debris from the site, I believe the structures were destroyed by controlled demolition, not impact loads/explosions/fires caused by the airplanes. Also, the steel frame surrounding the impact zones would have deformed slowly after the initial impacts due to the ductility of the structural steel. This would have resulted in a localized failure at the weak points(where planes hit) and toppling of the structures through the path of least resistance. WTC 7 was the mayors shelter and it collapsed at free fall acceleration for about 2.25 seconds into its own footprint with no plane impact. This indicates that all of the potential energy was converted directly into kinetic energy with no additional energy available to destroy the steel frame and concrete floor decks of the structure. Free fall acceleration is impossible without the use of explosives to remove the numerous columns, beams. and connections simultaneously!

This was a staged demolition with no doubt. The plane's impact and the fire that ensued did not bring these buildings down. Being on national TV, too many people's statements illuded to this. It is a crying shame that most people get caught up in the sensationalism and do not look at the physical evidence. I really have no structural experience other than taking structural engineering at NMSU. My experience has been with highways and municipal design.
The official story is that the buildings, weakened by fire, and falling under their own wight, pancaked down. The collapse happened in less than 10 seconds, which is about the time for a free falling object from that height to hit the ground. Resistance of building joints at each floor would have slowed the fall and possibly caused a much less even descent, perhaps even toppling. Pancaking would have left much more evidence. Explosives would have removed all evidence leaving only dust.

The physical evidence pointing to a controlled demolition of the WTC towers and WTC building 7 are undeniable. An independent investigation of the evidence is needed to answer the many outstanding questions that have never been addressed. The official explanation of the events of 9/11 are clearly false, and must be independently investigated so that the truth of the physical evidence can be brought to light.

To me, the evidence shown by Richard Gage in the DVD titled 9/11: Blueprint for Truth clearly shows that the public was not given the real story behind why those buildings collapsed. You just can't ignore the evidence of molten steel, pulverized concrete, U shaped steel I-beams with no stress fractures, and signs of explosions (squibs) 40 stories below the collapsing rubble. The list of unanswered technical questions surrounding this tragedy is just too long to be ignored.

I have been involved in the design and inspection of structures for approximately 30 years, including dams, bridges, roads, canals, pipelines, retaining walls, drainage structures, and other structures.
One of the many things that puts the official story in question for me is the matter of foreknowledge. How could so many people know that WTC buildings 1, 2, and 7 were going to come down when a fire has never caused a complete collapse of a building before. Also, it was well documented that the Twin Towers were designed to withstand a crash of a large passenger airplane.

I studied in the Engineering college of Geneva. My principal subjects were nuclear physic, materials knowledge, and electronics. I'm currently working in measurement electronics.
When I saw the collapse for the first time in 2001, I only thought it was strange that the towers did not fall against the others but only on their own footprint. In 2006 I studied this question seriously and concluded the collapse could not have been possible without explosives put inside the buildings.

To the best of my knowledge and belief the WTC towers collapsed due to controlled demolition. I subscribe to the substance of the Kaminski article, 9/11 was a Hoax. There should have been immediate criminal investigations.

I 'm still unable to find any explanation in the official commission reports that stands...I've just read the NIST, NCSTAR report for public comment pdf for the WTC7 collapse explanation, but there's almost no point about the time to collapse! F.R. Greening report about WTC 1 and 2 seems very well informed but doesn't take into account that the top of north tower lean while falling: that's completely missing in his calculations...whereas it obviously should have had a great importance to calculate the developed strengths in his pancake collapsing theory...but that simply can't be the truth because it's obvious to me that the leaning should have increased unless another strength was applied.

The tragedy to the American people on September 11, 2001 with the collapse of 3 buildings at the World Trade Center in NY, NY that took several lives was deliberately allowed to happen by President George W. Bush, Vice President Dick Cheney and others to justify going to war. This is an act of treason taking a country to war just like it was by Nazi Germany prior to World War 2 that was based upon a lie. Many within the military-industrial-petroleum complex wanted to go to war against Iraq and Saddam Hussein because they are use to getting several million dollars worth of contracts annually and could not tolerate having that public money being spent for other American needs. Americans should know that Saddam Hussein was a Central Intelligence Agency recruit so that the US would have easy access to oil and natural gas just like it was done with Iran years prior. This 9/11 act of so-called terrorism is the Pearl Harbor that was identified in 1992 by the Project for the New American Century after the fall of the Soviet Union in 1991. The group that prepared the PNAC needed to find another enemy quickly. They did and many in the US have been fooled. Americans should understand that having a war against terrorism is very convenient. Any open minded and honest person that would view carefully the films of the collapse of the Twin Towers should conclude this was a controlled demolition when they critically view the periodic puffs of smoke as the buildings came down. Likewise, any open minded and honest person that would listen carefully to the testimony of several people present said there were sounds of explosions should conclude this was a controlled demolition. Any person that knows anything about temperature to melt structural steel utilized should conclude that jet fuel could not melt or weaken the structural steel and cause it to collapse in the manner it was filmed. These World Trade Center buildings are the first high rise buildings in the US that came down due to fire or by an airplane! Any person that saw pictures of the structural steel left at ground zero before it was quickly removed from the premise in a around the clock effort should witness the uniformity of cut angles that assisted with the building collapse. According to the book called Censored 2005, The Top 25 Censored Stories of 2003 and 2004 by Peter Phillips and Project Censored, story #15 that did not get published was called Israelis seen filming 9/11 tragedy. The source is the Scotland Sunday Herald, November 2, 2003. Israeli intelligence may have known the attacks of 9/11 were going to occur, but did nothing to stop them. Five Israeli intelligence agents were spotted filming and celebrating as the World Trade Center fell. All of them had links to Mossad. Finally, Americans should know that the owner of the World Trade Center made a handsome profit from the insurance coverage, which is more than just being lucky or a good business man.

It is physically impossible for buildings to have collapsed in that manner due to the impact of the commercial aircraft and resulting fires. There are many eye witness testimonies of large explosions even before the airplanes allegedly hit the towers. There are simply far too many discrepancies. An international external investigation should be undertaken into the 9/11 attacks.
