PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

How did the 3rd building (WTC7) fall? It was not hit by a plane. It had relatively minor fires burning within and its collapse was reported by the BBC approximately 1/2 hour before it fell with a picture of the building in the background of the reporter's reporting of the story. That clip used to be on YouTube before they pulled it off. It fell completely into its own footprint and looks exactly like a controlled demolition. A building is similar to a tree. If you weaken part of it; for example. by chainsawing part of the trunk then it will fall to the ground on an angle. However, if you take it down in a controlled way, by cutting off pieces at a time then it will come down in a controlled fashion. The same thing had to happen with the 2 large towers. The airplane strikes were a foil or a smokescreen for the controlled demolition explosives placed throughout the buildings. If the airplanes were responsible for their destruction then both would have fallen on an angle into the surrounding city blocks. Instead, they came down at near free fall speed into their own footprints.

The collapse of the WTC towers on 9/11 was a remarkable and puzzling event. Several aspects of the collapse have yet to be satisfactorily explained: the collapse was extremely rapid (near free fall); the destruction was nearly symmetrical (in spite of highly asymmetric structural damage); the collapse generated significant explosive upwelling pyroclastic-like clouds of pulverized material. The most widely cited explanation is a Progressive Collapse Theory published by Ba'ant and colleagues. This model however has significant weaknesses. It is 1D (hence ignores the WTC towers' excellent capacity for load redistribution); it is not able to explain the highly symmetrical nature of the collapse; nor can it explain the generation of clouds of pulverized concrete and other anomalous aspects of the collapse. In my opinion the hypothesis of controlled demolition needs to be seriously investigated.

I am no expert, but as a kid, I found controlled demolitions fascinating so I've seen many of them. When I saw the first trade center 'collapse' live on TV in 2001, my first thought was, 'I can't believe a plane can do that.' Then the second one came down exactly the same way. Then I thought, 'Wow, I guess a plane CAN do that.' Then I saw building 7 come down and thought, 'That looks exactly like a controlled demolition.' Years later and sifting through much evidence, analysis, and demonstrations, the most plausible explanation of what I saw is that they were all deliberate controlled demolitions.

There are so many questions about 9/11 once you open your eyes and start digging into it. The question of why the 3 towers in New York fell is a central one to the whole of 9/11. Given the many issues that have been raised, a true and thorough objective investigation is certainly called for. Provided software design support for mechanical engineers in the CAE center of a major aerospace corporation earlier in my career. Worked with various finite element and thermal modeling software packages (late 1980s). Software Engineering and Technology Infrastructure Consulting since that time have been with non-mechanical high-tech environments.
Several things bothered me about the events of 9/11/01 but the epiphany finally came when I saw slow motion videos of the WTC building collapses and realized that there was no way catastrophic failure could account for the synchronized and total destruction of all 3 buildings. Logic, experience, and a small amount of research now backs up my belief in what now seems obvious. The shock and awe to me is how ignorant I was and the extent to which the deception has been perpetrated.

I have never met anyone who's looked at the plethora of evidence available and still believes the government's story. I wish very much that I could be that person -- it's far more comforting to believe the government has our backs. But having done extensive amounts of research, I agree that our government is lying to us, and that it's up to us as citizens and patriots to seek the truth and demand justice. Experience in design, marketing and writing drew me to look at the spin -- the packaging of the events -- which is used to manipulate the masses on a very subtle level. From the Press: MSNBC was using a large Attack on America logo after only one block in NY had sustained damage -- an unusually exaggerated extrapolation of this one event. This wasn't called WTC Crash nor Attack on New York. This is way out of line with previous event monikers like the Oklahoma City Bombings or the World Trade Center Bombing in 1993, and was far too soon to be designated as such by the corporate media. From the White House, I was struck by Bush's speech at 12:36pm on 9/11: Freedom itself was attacked this morning by a faceless coward... Many stuck on the coward reference which does seem subjective to say the least (as opposed to the brave kamakazi pilots or our brave men and women fighting for what they believe in as opposed to some cowards fighting for what they believe in), but I was more astonished by the singular use of coward. He can't possibly believe that one person flew all of the planes, which certainly indicates a group effort of some sort. However intelligent you might believe Bush to be, the idea that he could've solved the biggest crime in our lifetime in 3 1/2 hours and traced the acts to ONE person -- and yet claim no previous knowledge or warnings -- is absolutely ludicrous. Equally disturbing was his immediate plea to not entertain outrageous conspiracy theories. What real investigation starts with a command not to consider anything other that the first hypothesis?

There is no way to account for the pulverization of the World Trade Center buildings other than Controlled Demolition! I watched the film Building The World Trade Center at the Brooklyn Museum - the film proves that the building was not hollow; rather, it indicated the immense amounts of construction steel that was used to erect the building. Other indications are: evidence of thermate, preannouncements of building failure, and prevarications and conflicts within the official explanation.

I am a civil engineering student with a 20-year interest in physics. I worked for many years in the design, communications and pre-press industries, as well as a developer of content managing web applications.
The WTC collapses bear no resemblance to the official explanation. Furthermore, the events of September 11, 2001, have been used as a justification for horrendously oppressive, violent, and destructive policies which were clearly planned before the incident. Only an independent international investigation with unfettered access to all relevant documents will constitute a believable investigation. The conflict of interest between the purported victim and the de facto beneficiary of the acts (i.e. the Bush administration, who never would have been able to justify their actions without 9/11) implies any of their findings are devoid of meaning.

Building 7 wasn't even hit by a plane, yet it collapsed at near-free-fall acceleration, straight down against the path of greatest resistance, totally symmetrically, and neatly into its own footprint. Everyone looking at WTC 7 must conclude the following: At least World Trade Center 7 was brought down by controlled demolition. That leads to a very inconvenient thought process: there were explosives in the building, the explosives were pre-planted -> the attack was known in advance. I think that the Bush administration was directly involved in the crime of 9/11 and the wars of aggression following it. I would like to see a truly independent investigation and the prosecution of the war criminals Bush, Cheney, Bush Senior, Rice, Wolfowitz, Perle and all the other war criminals.

Disregarding the actual collapse for a minute, you only have to look back through history to see other such events. For example, the Omagh bombings in N.Ireland - which was carried out by the IRA - but it was later found out that two British MI5 double agents were working in the IRA undercover and that they were largely responsible for the bombing. One of the agents admitted involvement. And the many unexplained co-incidences and conflicts in the story of the 7/7 bombings.

I watched the 9/11 events from the very begining and was stounted by what happened as almost everyone (from EU), who had been in america and made many friends there. Of course, I believed the official story although there was some suspicions especially about the flight 93. Years passed and I happened to get to download some videos about the what really happened at WTC. Steven Jones' one made the greatest impression. Upon seeing all the evidence I truly believe that the buildings have been deliberately torn down by a controlled demolition or other managed way of destruction.

I am 25 years, and I have been investigating the events of 9/11 for about a year with 100's of hours invested in my personal investigation. I am currently working on my associates degree for computer programming and am a Dean's List student.
The official version of the collapse of all three buildings on 9/11 which NIST has changed 3 times simply does not add up in the face of the evidence. No high rise structure has ever collapsed due to fire, yet 3 did on one day. How did they fall at free fall speed, when the resistance of the lower floors would slow it down? The biggest question in my mind has always been why does NIST absolutely refuse to look at bombs being in the buildings, when there is plenty of evidence to support the theory.
