PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

My brother (Shawn) and I are historical researchers, primarily in the 20th and 21st century in American politics. We have met with many 9/11 researchers. We live in Manhattan, New York and indeed witnessed the collapses of WTC I & II from a few blocks away.

Through our research and what we saw on 9/11 it is our informed opinion that the collapses were the result of high-tech means not associated with NIST's conclusions. It doesn't take a degree in engineering to know what this looks like and how it would be different than any other event. There is a clear particular signature to a demolition. If there is something about the nature of the design and construction of these three buildings that would allow them to perform the magic trick, of the appearance of being a building demolition, than this would clearly be of prime importance to the world architectural community to figure out how this slight of hand actually occurred. Clearly, this has yet to be done.

Why did the building fall straight down - like all buildings fall when detonated from the inside? Why did the president continue to read a children's story when our country was under attack? Where were ANY of our military personnel during this attack? And why hasn't there been an investigation? Surely, if there was nothing to hide, an investigation would have shown that by now - but of course, there has been no investigation. There is obviously much to hide.

The speeds of the collapses of all 3 buildings are so close to theoretical drop speeds under gravity with zero resistance. How come these steel framed buildings collapsed with so little resistance? Specifically the roof WTC7 can be observed to accelerate downward at near free fall speed. How is this possible when the roof of WTC1 can be observed to descend with lower acceleration? Where is this structural resistance in WTC7?

It should be obvious to anyone who has ever taken high school physics that the WTC buildings collapsed faster than an object could have fallen from the top of either building to the ground. The acceleration due to gravity at sea level is 32.174 feet/second**2. Given that the structural damage caused by the initial explosions was near the top of each building, the only way the buildings could have collapsed that quickly and neatly was with a sequence of timed explosions on each floor. Many buildings have been demolished by using that method.

Regardless of the extent of damage to the areas of the twin towers hit by planes, the remaining structure was completely intact. The obliteration of the entire structure is impossible. Building 7's omission from the commission's report is unacceptable.

Seeing what the official investigations by FEMA and NIST either left out or were unable to explain pointed to the fact that there was something unusual about the collapses of the three WTC buildings, especially building 7. The most compelling evidence I've seen that we need a real investigation into the events is the molten metal found in the basements of all three buildings. Also important are the uniform way in which building 7 collapsed into its footprint, the way the twin towers fell as if the standing building did not cause any resistance to the falling floors, and the testimony and evidence of explosions occurring before the collapse initiated.

I own a business the restores demolished automobiles involving welding and body work. I work with metals, bending and straitening and heating them; and testing the structural integrity of automotive framing and uni-body.
There is no way that the WTC buildings collapsed due to fire. The buildings fell too fast (at almost free-fall speed)!!! The melting temperature for steel is much too high to even be weakened by the temperature that jet fuel or office materials could produce. The evidence that 9/11 was an inside job is overwhelming!!!

I attended Texas Tech Univ. from 1988 to 1997 and graduated with an MS in Electrical Engineering. My first engineering job was for Agri-Tech, Inc. in Woodstock, VA from 1997 to 2000. I believe the 3 WTC buildings that fell were demolished with explosives. We have many things working against us trying to get the word out about 9/11: 1. The public education system has moved away from teaching technical skills and is deliberately dumbing us down. 2. There is less respect for human life today than there was at mid-century, though respect for human life now is better than it was in ancient times. In order for people to want an investigation into 9/11, they have to care about the people that died. Many people I've met simply don't care about the deaths on 9/11. 3. There is less social capital today than there was at mid-century. Read the book 'Bowling Alone.' When people become aware of 9/11, their network of acquaintances are so limited that the word can't spread. People rely on the media for information and opinions rather than each other. 4. The lemming effect gives people the instinct to appeal to authority and follow others. Almost the entire argument against the 9/11 Conspiracy is the appeal to authority and the reluctance to look at the information and form an independent opinion. If most of the 80,000 architects in AIA don't agree with Richard Gage, then he must be wrong.

A mere 14 million dollars was spent on the investigation into 9/11 by the Official 9/11 Commission. They rushed to judgment, overlooking a myriad of serious items such as the collapse of WTC7 (not even mentioned), Transportation Secretary Norman Minetta's testimony that Dick Cheney was advised of the approach of Flight 93 bearing down on the Pentagon far in advance of it's crash (not even mentioned), and the dozens of First Responder witnesses testimony that there was flowing red-orange rivers of molten steel in the sub-basements of all three towers (not even mentioned). These are just a few of the many serious and important anomalies that were completely ignored by the Commission. As I first mentioned, they spent 14 million dollars investigating the bloodiest attack on our soil, an attack that was used as justification to launch a war on terror around the world, bankrupting this nation in the process, yet over 350 million was spent on the investigation of the crash of the Shuttle Columbia, 40 million on Clinton's peccadilloes, 35 million on the JFK assassination investigation. We deserve a new and impartial investigation into 9/11, and we must stand up for ourselves and our country and demand it.

In late 2001 I happened upon an article which included testimonial statements by a WTC employee regarding a convoy of trucks loading precious metals from a vault at or near the Towers. This occurred as the sun was rising on September 11, 2001. She also noted hearing explosions in the subterranean levels of the structures much earlier than the official story time line suggested. After reading it, I felt in my heart that something was wrong. It stayed foremost in my mind and after a couple days I began to dig for more info and eyewitness information. (By the way most of these eyewitness accounts can not even be located anymore, the links are Not Found ) - but there was a common theme about hearing and avoiding the lower level explosions which were taking place though out the the buildings, in most of the eyewitness accountings. I embarked on a research expedition ever since that time which has astounded, bewildered, and caused a whole host of other feelings ad infinum.... Thousands of hours of History Lessons... Evil non compassionate treatment of fellow humans for greed - far greater in number than I could ever have imagined.... Those cold greedy hands carefully calculated the demise on 09/11/2001..... The evidence is overwhelming and I'm no Einstein.

I have researched the collapses extensively for more than 3 years. After seeing the collapse of WTC 7, it simply cried out for attention. I have no professional background in engineering, but relied on the testimony of credible engineers, architects and sound logical thinking to determine that this was simply not possible. To accept it is to assume that every building with fire damage can collapse at free fall speed, symmetrically on its own foot print. The fact that there has never been a case history of this since or after 9/11 is enough of a red flag. I think the most important compelling evidence is the statements of professionals on this petition. That, to me is reason enough to warrant a real independent investigation.

I'm a computer engineer who got his Bachelors degree in Holland and was always very good in math, physics, science, computers etc.
When I saw the live report on CNN and saw the towers collapse, my first impression was **IMPOSSIBLE**. This was completely against everything I learned about science. Since then I started researching the internet and showed my family/friends and got in arguments with them to the point they called me naive and stupid to believe in 'conspiracy'. When I show them the 'proof', they show me some 'debunking' docs that would proof me wrong. My strongest argument was that if the 'pancake effect' for the twin towers was correct, how do you apply that to building 7 a block away?!?! If somebody would throw a rock from a any height it would never pulverize and certainly not in mid-air. Everything I learned in college/university and life I would have to throw away after 9/11. From that day on I've become a moron?!?! I don't think so. I've never believed in the Bush administration and the media, even though I'm not an U.S.American citizen. The US has a huge influence on the whole world and I consider myself a world citizen. I would like to express my thoughts about this issue someday so that you all realize that this is global issue and does not only effect the US citizen but the whole world.

On 9/11 I watched the images on the TV one of those twin towers coming down and I said out loud, they've demolished that tower, they don't fall down like that' 7 years later I'm still trying to open peoples eyes and minds to the facts that you others are defending on this site' I hope I will see the truth in my lifetime'
