PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I was still in college at Mines when the towers came down. I remember going to one of the 'presentations' that they had on campus to help explain how it could have happened... how the first steel structured building in history had suffered a full collapse due to fire damage(and 3 of them ta boot!). It was some expert from somewhere, and he was quite convincing in the fact that the fuel from the planes had burned hot enough for the steel to fail, and then the 'pan-caking effect' and weight from the stories above caused the accordion type collapse of the towers. Not really being an expert in melting steel (or anything yet, for that matter...) i bought this explanation without further investigation and got back to my classes and trusted it in the hands of the expert investigators. Ever since then, when I truly began to critically think about the disaster in 2001, I cannot bring myself to believe the 'official' explanations of what was reported to have happened on 9/11. It is obvious to me that all 3 buildings were brought down in a planned/controlled demolition, and that there is way more to the 9/11 story than we have 'officially' been told. Please re-open the investigation, and let us not be victims of repeating such dark pasts... by not letting our history be such a dark lie...

With a focus on structural engineering and design, I received a Bachelor of Science degree (with honors) in Architectural Engineering. I assisted in the design of bridge structural components for a large project for the Texas Department of Transportation. I designed reinforced concrete and steel components for bridges. I carried out laboratory and field research to better understand the mechanisms of premature failure of reinforced concrete structures. I received a Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering, with a focus on construction materials. I have also worked as a project manager for a foundation construction company.
I have spent hours listening to eyewitness accounts and analyses by engineers and scientists on the topic of the causes of collapse of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. I can only come to the conclusion that the commission for the official 9/11 report was grossly negligent in its investigation. Not only were critical details omitted from the reports, but blatant lies have been and continue to be spread regarding the actual events on September 11, 2001. I am a scientist and engineer in support of a new, correct, scientifically sound, and comprehensive investigation into the causes of collapse of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7, as well as a criminal investigation into all people associated with one of the most horrific crimes in human history.

The loss of life was so horrific it is no wonder it took me 5 years before I was able to open my eyes to real information without all the emotion getting in the way. When I did, to my utter surprise, I found the video evidence did not match the official story. I think anyone with eyes to see, who takes the time to watch all 3 building collapses several times will see that they are not collapses at all, but explosions! Then, when you dig a little deeper, you find that every part of the 9/11 story has huge holes in it. As a citizen of this country I demand a true independent investigation (NO POLITICIANS OR INSIDERS) of what really happened on Sept. 11, 2001.

It is a crying shame that most people get caught up in the sensationalism and do not look at the physical evidence. The government, the media and the powers above them prey on the innocent citizens that are not educated enough to know the simple law of physics.

I am a retired (as of the end of January, 2009) Systems Programmer on IBM Mainframe Computers. Since 1976 I worked for components of the University of Texas System, primarily at the Univ. of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas, since 1982. I cannot see how those buildings collapsed in the manner that they did without explosives having been planted and used inside of each those buildings, especially Building No. 3, which was not hit by anything. What is the relationship between the events of 9/11/2001 and the Oklahoma City Bombing on April 19, 1995? Answer: In both cases, different experts subsequently claimed that the buildings could not have come down in the manner that they did without explosives having been planted and used inside of the buildings. In the Oklahoma Bombing, only the front part of the Murrah Federal Building collapsed.

The way in which the WTC buildings fell just does not make sense unless controlled demolition techniques were involved. What is very concerning is that the official story seems to try to cover up the data which point to the use of demolition techniques. And if in fact these data are being covered up, it begs the question; what else is being covered up. Pulling this thread could very likely shed some light on many other associations, relationships and partnerships that have had and may continue to have adverse affects on our country and society.

From the evidence I have seen on YouTube and read, it appears obvious that both of the twin towers and building seven could not have collapsed the way they did based on the fires only, in the towers fueled by jet fuel and internal materials. The most logical conclusion to as to why the buildings collapsed the way they did is a controlled demolition. Since the event(s) of 9/11, I've had a fascination with the inconsistencies delivered by the news media that followed, and the fact that the FAA and U.S. Armed Forces were so ill-prepared that day, given what I already knew about the agency and the capability of our military. The span of time between the 'attacks' on the two towers, (building 7), followed by the Pentagon and the circumstances that surrounded these encounters on two of the most important buildings in two of the most important cities in the United States were unusual. I always knew that the most important source for discovering what happened that day would have to come from the structural engineers who designed those building(s) and the presence of the scientific community at large. Like all arson cases that are examined, when crucial forensic evidence is introduced, the probability of finding the answers to the unresolved questions ultimately begin to converge and cancel out. What perplexed me the most about these events ultimately was the delay in convening a critical Federal commission or committee to investigate the truth given the magnitude of what had occurred. My epiphany actually came with the advent of the 'Jersey Girls', and there courageous push to urge our lawmakers into giving the American people the facts that most of us had waited for. Then came the long awaited Commission Report in 2004' I'm in agreement with Richard Gage that what helped support the overwhelming disparities and gaps in the Commission Report were the seminal work(s) of individual like David Ray Griffin and Craig Unger. The former more so, because it was the ultimate lightening rod that revealed in painstaking detail what was ultimately missing 'a panel of ex-politicians with no counterparts coming from the sciences and academia to question the legitimacy of what was delivered in the reports coming out of the FAA, NIST and FEMA.

I came to the conclusion that 911 was an inside job in 2003 after the US invaded Iraq under various false pretenses, including the claim that 911 was planned by Saddam Hussein in collaboration with Al Qaeda. I then did some research and came across the Project for a New American Century's white paper, Rebuilding America's Defenses, in which they claim that the US needed a new Pearl Harbor to galvanize US public opinion in favor of the wars against Iraq and Afghanistan (I had not heard of David Ray Griffin at that time). I then read 'War and Globalization' by Michel Chossudovsky and became convinced that the US government is at least covering up the truth about 911, if not totally complicit.

Just watching the mainstream media videos is clearly enough evidence for anyone with common sense to see that these buildings were destroyed by controlled demolition and not from the airplanes that crashed into them . they were actually designed to withstand planes crashing into them, but they were not designed to withstand a controlled demolition using thermite.

I had an erector set when I was a kid. The lying TV can't bullshit me! I've been waiting for some Engineers to finally confess the media story is crap and not just me saying it! I also worked as an iron worker one summer. Steel doesn't melt from jet fuel, diesel, kerosene, or lighter fluid and it doesn't pool up. When I saw the building's debris flower out, the concrete turned to powder, not chunks, and all the 45 degree cuts with slag - no iron worker would cut steel beams at an angle - and no tipping over - IMPOSSIBLE!

I just don't understand how the WC7 could have failed with only fire at 3 differents floors and without any plane crashing on it. It's so clear it's a controlled demolition (as we see in video it's clearly starts by the floor not by the floors on fire). So we can ask ourselves the question about the twin tower too, so perfect and symetrical collapse is just impossible if the heat of fire is in cause, it should have collapsed by an asymetrical way and would have finish into a pyramidal shape instead of just nothing.

The disintegration of WTC towers never seemed to be consistent with the damage sustained by the aircraft and ensuing fire. There was no visual indication of structural failure until both buildings came apart in identical clouds of pulverized concrete. I kept asking myself how is this possible? They when I saw WTC7 magically come down with practically no visible damage to the building and only a few scattered fires, I knew. Either the official account of the events in New York were wrong or I had entered the twilight zone. Turns out I was right on both counts.

I was skeptical when I began watching the 911Truth video, but the information presented is so well documented, logical and factual, and with all the expert testimony it is almost impossible to believe that anything but an explosion could have caused the collapse of the buildings. It is alarming on so many levels - how the explosives were set, who was involved, why were the official investigations so inept, was there a coverup, why weren't there more doubts raised at the time by the news media and others, why has it taken so long for me to hear this, etc.

I am an ASP .NET Web Programmer / Designer and am a Microsoft Certified Professional working towards my MCAD certification. To me the amazing thing about 9/11 is how many different ways the official story can be debunked and shown how it is completely a lie. The way the twin towers collapsed, building seven, several of the hijackers are still alive, lack of investigation by the government, etc. There is just to many unanswered questions about 9/11. And even if it wasn't our governments doing I think it can also been clearly proved it was allowed to happen.

The speed of the clean vertical collapse of the world trade centre buildings along with the undeniable visible outward blasts of debris as the collapse occurred are what I see as the most obvious and clear evidence that the cause of the disaster was more than just a plane collision and subsequent fire.
