On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I have a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Penn State University. I worked for a developer (commercial and residential) for two years after graduating. During my engineering courses I studied structures with Harry West, an excellent structural engineering professor. During that semester, we did a case study on the disaster that happened at the Hyatt Regency in Kansas City in the 80's. I recently looked up the information about the event (in particular when I was watching Mr. Gage's videos about WTC 7 and the 9/11 disaster in general) and was surprised to discover that the Kansas City disaster was the biggest structural steel failure, in terms of loss of life, until 9/11! I wonder what engineering students have to study now when the facts about 9/11 are so unclear and decidedly incorrect in the government version that NIST released. Why can't we get a proper investigation into these events that addresses the real facts presented to us, like free fall collapse through path of greatest resistance. It's nonsense that the government would even have high school students believe such stuff, let alone advanced university engineering students. Please include my name in your petition. I think the victims of this disaster and the subsequent victims (both US soldiers and Iraqi citizens and US citizens in general) deserve the truth.
I was shocked to see the scientific facts that Mr. Gage presented regarding the collapse of WTC 7. It should be obvious even to laypeople that the collapse was a controlled demolition. Even newscasters of the day reported they thought that was what they were seeing. Why is the government hiding the truth from us? It is obvious that explosives, at the very least, were used; more than likely, based on the finding of the microspheres of iron in the dust, the incendiary thermite was used. I am not a 'truther' or kookspiracist. I simply have an engineering background and am amazed that people who see Mr. Gage's presentations would think that he is making things up: that the laws of physics took a break on that September day. I now think and feel so differently about our government and even about agencies like NIST and the ASCE that have failed the engineering community on this incident. Why didn't these agencies explain the obvious fallacies and discrepancies present in those events? I feel betrayed by our government. I also feel a deep sense of distrust for such agencies that have the responsibility to protect the general public by providing unbiased and truthful investigations into incidents that harm and kill us citizens. I remember studying the Kansas City Hyatt disaster in engineering school. We were taught about the consequences of negligence in our work as engineers, how loss of life and property can occur as a result of poor work on our part as engineers. How can current day engineering students look at 9/11 and learn anything when so many paradoxes and controversies surround it? Our government needs to reopen the investigation and find out what really happened. So many lives have been lost and continue to be lost as a result of the rash decisions and outcomes based on what was perceived to have happened, most of which is unsubstantiated by facts and scientific laws that must not be disregarded. I wholeheartedly support Mr. Gage's movement to get a new investigation, and I hope he is able to achieve what he has set out to do: reveal the truth.

As a small child I witnessed the collapse of a non-combustible manufacturing building after the steel structure was subjected to extreme heat from a raging fire for hours. The pile of rubble left by the twisted, melted structure was more than half as tall as when the structure stood when in tact. - - - - I have also witnessed the planned implosion of four or more high-rise buildings. - - - - I believe it is very possible that there was much more to the demise of Towers 1 and 2 than just the impact of jets and the power of the fuel they contained. Reasons for the collapse of Tower 7 has remained to me unsatisfactorily explained in the media coverage for the events of 9-11-01. - - - - I am deeply concerned that scientific calculations, debris material sampling and analysis have not been given a fair platform in which the causes of the three Trade Center building collapses on 9-11-01 would be clarified and given fair media and grounds for understanding and justice.

I started out in the U.S. Air Force working in AMMO PGM (Precision Guided Munitions). Later, I became an FAA Licensed aircraft mechanic (A&P) at East Coast Aero Tech, Bedford, MA. In 2006 a friend introduced the 9/11 conspiracy topic to me. After reviewing the evidence about the twin towers I agreed that the jet fuel definitely did not drain down elevator shafts or stairwells. The fuel incinerated on the opposite side of the impact in midair. This is due to inertia. What was truly surprising was that secondary explosions were recorded before and after the second plane hit. You can hear the charges going off in some of the videos. Moreover, the fall of building 7 seemed predicted by many officials.

I am not qualified to comment on the particulars of explosive demolition; however, the laws of physics strongly suggest that there is some other mechanism at work in the dramatic collapse of the twin towers. Certainly any structure capable of withstanding the extreme forces inherent in a stable structure of that size would offer some resistance to a collapse. I would expect that an asymmetrically distributed failure, the kind of failure implied by the nature of the impact and resulting fire, would provide asymmetrical resistance that would in turn create a pivot-shearing failure that would result in the lower structure remaining largely intact while the upper structure rotated and collapsed outward in the direction of the least support. Even if the building happened to collapse evenly, it is highly unlikely that the supporting structure would offer no resistance to the collapsing mass. I believe something is obviously missing in the official explanation since it does not correlate with what I know of physics. I would support and encourage an effort to accurately determine and explain the behavior of the three structures.

I am trained as an Electrical Engineer. I've worked for NASA and other companies designing control systems for mechanical motion control systems. This background in math and physics of motion have allowed me to do some technical inquiries into the dynamics of collapse of the WTC. We must perform publicly and with peer review an extensive analysis of the WTC collapse. The official explanation stops at the onset of collapse. To even explain the start of the collapse without explosives requires some far fetched ideas. There are lots of energy analyses to do that I have not seen done. How can multi-ton steel beams be ejected with enough force to embed themselves in buildings far away? What explains the symetry of the collapse? Uncontrolled phenomenon are seldom symetrical.

As a student growing up in New York after September 11th, I decided to research what happened on that day and why; however, the more documentaries I watched, the more news articles I read, and the more I sought after facts and credible information, I began to find more secrets and inconsistencies rather than the truth. After viewing documentaries and reading statements from numerous sources, I strongly agree that the collapses of both Twin Towers, as well as Building 7, need to be further investigated. To my knowledge, the 9/11 Commission did not conduct any investigation into the collapse, and provided more of a cover up story instead of a detailed investigation. I have researched numerous videos of the collapse of the Twin Towers, and they all appear to be controlled demolitions. It does not take a rocket scientist or engineer to find that there were explosives after watching video evidence and testimonials from firefighters and eye witnesses.

All programs I have watched on TV simply serve to confirm my suspicions that the plane impacts and fires there were insufficient to cause the collapse seen. The theories offered so far, for an inside job, are most plausible for what actually occurred. Too much information is omitted from the 9/11 Commission Report to make it even slightly believable.

For me, compelling evidence of nano-elements of explosive materials aside (not to ignore the compelling nature of that incredible, inescapable red flag), the likelihood of *three* buildings falling victims to a heretofore unheard of demise related to structure failures due to (controlled) fires, stretches the bounds of believability. I graduated as a Master of Social Sciences from the University of Jyv'skyl', later studying Information Technology and currently working as a Software Testing Engineer in a mid-sized company in Finland's capital region.
WTC 7 was destroyed in what matches a highly skilled controlled demolition and its investigation by the NIST was preceded by a speedy destruction of all the research material (NIST: no steel was recovered from WTC 7), followed by years of official speculation about whether it was the diesel fuel stored in the building, the alleged south-side damage, or perhaps something else (anything but controlled demolition). This is not the way in which massive skyscraper disasters are investigated. And the official explanation 7 years later (with no physical evidence to base it on)? Ordinary office fires caused one column (number 79) to break, which then somehow caused all the other 80 columns to also simultaneously break in a building with a typical floor area of a football field, with a result about which any controlled demolition company would be extremely proud.

I see no way the builldings could have collapsed that straight, unless some charges disabled all the vertical columns simultaneously. And it's certainly suspicious that the many Pentagon surveillance videos, the black box contents and almost all other evidence is held back.

It seems that 9/11 Commission, or any political figure denying this evidence, are just protecting those that had prior knowledge or a hand in the planning (the latter seems to be more true). Common sense is all that is needed to see the truth once the facts are presented. This is the Warren Commission all over again. I truly believe that 9/11 was the precursor to a police state coming to the United States, the rumblings are ever present in the news with incremental assaults on liberty. Patriot Act, TSA Scanners, Net Neutrality, and so on. Because of my practical experience with metallic materials, and my theoretical technical knowledge, I couldn't believe the official '9/11-first-skyscraper-collapse-through-fire-story' right from the beginning. Building material does not 'naturally' behave like the way we have seen it. But I was confused, because of the (dis)information through the 'mass-media'. Currently, I work in a building near world trade center site for a mid size software vendor catering to Financial institutions.
The existence of high tech thermite in remnants of the WTC buildings. The video footage which shows the free fall of WTC buildings has convinced me there is more than what appears in the official government story. I would like the truth being restored and possibly, possibly, this would lead to apprehension of possible perpetrators of this 9/11 event. For the sake of truth and justice, we the people demand some answers. For the sake of the victims' family, they deserve the right to know.

It does not take a highly educated individual to note the obvious especially as the majority of the information is abundantly provided to us, however due to the cover up of the media and powers that be at hand, in which we are not discussing, makes a little research necessary. From obviously tampered and edited video, to precise and accurately placed explosions that are hidden by the motion around them, the bigger attention is very obvious and the simple truth it is right there. This is one of the worst attempts at a cover-up in American history.

I am a father of 2 sons and married. Going to school for computer programming.
I am concerned because the buildings seem to fall down with no resistance. The fire fighters report huge pools of molten metal. Normal office fires could not have melted the steel columns. Building 7 falls in 6.6 seconds even though no plane hit it. There were a number of witnesses who reported hearing explosions going off and there is even footage of this. One of the twin towers has some molten metal dripping off of the corner just seconds before the buildings fall, which to me looked like a thermite reaction. Dr Steve Jones of BYU reported that he found unignited thermate in the dust of the towers. There is just too much evidence that is being ignored here. We need a new investigation.

I work with computer technology, I know how easy it is for groups like NIST to use and manipulate computers to control a specific outcome that they want. I wish that people would call into question the government as easily as they do those who speak out against the government.
I don't understand how buildings fall at a free fall speed if they collapsed due to the pancake theory. Better yet, can anyone explain why there was the presence of thermite in the dust at NYC ground zero following this tragedy?
