To the Members of the House of Representatives and of the Senate of the United States of America,
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

This cannot be caused by simply collapsing. Nor could that explain the gigantic metamorphosis of thousands of tons of material (including steel) into dust consisting of very small particles.I am still very hopeful, that a truly independent investigation of what happened on 9/11 2001 will finally take place and I hope I will live to see it. My hopes are for my children and my grandchildren, whose Mother is a citizen of the United States, though it may turn out to be very hard for the American people to face the truth of 9/11, like it was for German people after world war II.

I attended private grade school, high school, and college schools. I have been a full-time software engineer since graduating college in 1992. My professional work experience includes assignments at the corporate offices of three different billion-dollar companies. I have been taught and must utilize at work skills in deduction, prediction, estimation, development, and management.
Having read and viewed discussions of the collapse of the 3 WTC buildings, as well as viewing numerous documentaries provided by network programs such as ABC, NBC, and PBS, I see a vast preponderance of evidence that supports the theory of controlled demolition and not the established pancake theory. Though the evidence is so overwhelming, bringing these issues up to intelligent friends and co-workers only elicits crazed looks and laughs. I can only assume the engineering concepts are too difficult for them to grasp, or they have just blindly believed the smattering of television and magazine articles that push the pancake theory. This is a horrifying concept to me that people can so easily throw their conscience out the window and close their eyes to the truth.

I do not have a background in engineering or physics. However I do have common sense and a basic understanding of the effects of gravity and I feel that the official story doesn't make any sense.
The collapse of all three structures does not appear to have been caused by fires. The violent ejections of building materials from the WTC towers 1 and 2 looked like explosions. Also, the Bush administration did not even want to investigate the collapses until pressure was put on them from the families of the 9/11 victims.

WTC was undoubtedly a controlled demolition. I am not an architect or building engineer, but my education afforded me a basic understanding of physics, and the principle of the speed of free-fall. The removal of underlying resistance is essential for this reaction to take place. Removal of resistance within a towering steel structure has limited options. Explosive demolition comes to mind.

The collapse of he buildings in free fall speed are very crucial evidences that the whole concrete of the building must have suddenly been pulverized by amazing forces. Those forces can't be explained by the pressure coming from the upper part of the collapsing building alone, because the lower part of the building would have slowed down the collapsing parts.

IMHO yes the jet fuel would have weakened some of the structure, but there has never been a complete and intensive test as to what level of weakening could have occurred. From all the videos I have seen, it seems Thermite may have taken a huge role in this tragedy.

I am deeply concerned that the American people have not been told the complete truth about the events of 9/11/01. The official story of the U.S. government regarding the events of that day, and the support which that story is given by the mainstream media outlets, I find to be wholly incompatible with a scientific and logical examination of the evidence which has been preserved of that events on 9/11. Regardless of the disturbing implications that may attend disclosure of the whole truth, I am adamant that all American citizens deserve a new, thorough investigation of the evidence. I expect that such an investigation will be led by, and comprised of, professionals and scientists who are at all times free from government oversight and/or incentivism. I expect also that this investigation should include public and open examination of government, corporate, and military leadership who have any degree of knowledge or responsibility regarding any and all occurrences on 9/11/01. Whatever the truth is, I do not feel that We the People are yet in possession of it. Open a new investigation immediately. That is the government's responsibility to the citizenry of whose power it is but appointed stewards.

By no means an expert in the structural elements of high rise office blocks but after reviewing the evidence and the comment by members of this forum, I'm concerned that the current explanation being incomplete and would like to add my voice to help lobby a proper investigation.
Putting political issues and speculation about conspiracies to one side, seems to me an insult to the American public and the brave military personal from both our countries that the full story of exactly what happened during the attacks on September 11th, particularly in reference to Building 7, which is perplexing, have never been disclosed properly. If nothing else, the lack of co-operation on this topic only fuels the conspiracies and in-fighting. Ten years on, and after the end of the (official) Bin Laden search, its time for a proper investigation and explanation of what happened that day. RIP to all the people who sadly lost their lives that day.

The information provided by the Government of the United States, and subsequently the 9/11 Commission in their report, regarding the collapse of the WTC Towers and Building 7 is false and unacceptable. A new and independent investigation should be done in order to discover the truth and provide justice to the 9/11 victims and their families, first responders, and the American people. Anything less is a disgrace and a complete disregard for the rule of law.

Currently, finishing a Medical Doctor of Oriental Medicine (MDOM) in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), with a MS in Oriental Medicine and BS in Nutrition.
In fact the US Congress 3 times as money investigating whether Clinton had sex with Monica. This is an insult to the American people. Anyone with a high school education with just an introductory class in physics and chemistry can see that evidence has been ignored. But that is probably why the education system is so shabby in this country and ranks only 23rd in the world.

The building collapses seemed very much like a demolition rather than a structure fire that toppled the buildings. And Building 7 was an almost blatant demolition...

I don't agree with what the government has told us about 9/11. I don't believe fire alone could bring down a building in the manner the World Trade buildings fell.

I have serious doubts about the official explanation concerning the destruction of the Twin Towers and am appalled that there has not been an independent investigation. If we cannot get to the truth of 9/11, we can expect similar events in the future.

I am currently working at McDonalds. I have always wondered what actually happened on that day and I believe that we have found substantial enough evidence to start a new investigation. The American people must know the truth and I hope to help inspire people to ask the necessary questions into what happened on that fateful day.
Most of the scientific work has been done by Steven Jones and other professors. We just need an explanation from the government as to exactly what happened on that day. Most structural engineers and architects agree that buildings of that size do not fall because of a plane. We NEED a better explanation from the government.
