PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

Our government's refusal to cooperate with American professionals, working with the limited evidence left available, to find out precisely and correctly how these buildings failed to withstand a simple aircraft strike (in 2 of the 3 cases), which Code and plans inspection say they should have, as designed by IAW applicable Codes, is a troubling revelation. Politics may have played a part somehow, but that is not the subject nor in the scope of the professional review these experts and witnesses are providing simply to lend more insight as to how those events of structural failure actually could have occurred. One always knows something is not right when it is intentionally being kept out of public view and discussion behind the rubric of 'It's classified''. But why? Inquiring minds want to know facts, not half-truths and evasions, which we are increasingly seeing as a basic part of the way the government treats the governed, for its own private purposes.

I have twenty years of experience and a solid working knowledge of construction processes and of the materials utilized in most every aspect of construction. My field experience is extensive; it ranges across every aspect of transportation projects such as airports, rail lines, ferry terminals and transit centers, underground utilities and both sanitary and storm water conveyance systems to hazardous waste containment structures, earthen dams and dikes, and concrete dams. And I have extensive experience inspecting and testing all manner of construction related materials.
From the moment I saw the towers collapse on September 11th 2001 I knew something was amiss. Firstly, since there is no horizontal component to gravity, I felt that some unseen force was responsible for driving large sections of the external box columns horizontally outward to land well beyond the expected limits of debris pile spawned by gravity driven collapse. My second observation was the pulverization of the lightweight concrete. Because it takes hundreds of thousands of pounds of pressure per square inch to shatter 6-inch x 12-inch concrete tests cylinders but never is more than a tiny percentage of the concrete (less than 1%) pulverized. I recognized there was most certainly a great deal of available energy within those collapses to crush the concrete, I did not note a slowing in the collapse as the gravitational kinetic energy was sapped away from the falling section. The observation from the morning was that while fire was visible in sections of the towers it was noticeably absent elsewhere. Speaking specifically of the north tower now, I found it incredibly odd that all of the external columns and (apparently) all of the core columns failed simultaneously on the same floor. This seemed odd because the steel frame should have provided multiple alternative load paths so portions of the building should have held fast while other sagged. A simultaneous global collapse could never have occurred due to unilateral damage from the impact, or from uneven heating of the columns. Call my observations that day hunches or whatever. From the minute I saw the collapses I have doubted the official story. From the efforts and offering of A&E for 9/11 Truth I have learned that my hunches were spot-on; I have learned much beyond those hunches as well through the work of your steering committee and from all the experts who have added to your work. And I thank all of you for your efforts and your time. One last thing. In 2007 I learned that a woman I loved dearly was killed in the North Tower that September 2001 morning as she sat at her desk in the offices of Marsh USA. My understanding is that her desk was at ground zero of Ground Zero, meaning she died instantly. I hope and pray this is the case. Denise Crant, may God hold your soul close to his heart. I have worked in Civil and Structural Engineering since 1984. I currently work as a structural engineer designing projects for Alaska's oil industry. I have also done forensic engineering for repair of fire damaged buildings.
Although I have seen fires cause steel members to warp seriously, I have not seen fire cause steel buildings to collapse. On the contrary, I have seen steel buildings suffer fire damage yet remain standing. A collapse due to fire damage would start at the first member to fail, and global failure would cascade asymmetrically from there. Controlled demolition is the best explanation for what we saw at the 3 WTC buildings.

In my opinion, what happened at the WTC on 11 Sep 2001 cannot be the result of 2 planes slamming into the towers and 3 towers collapsing. If that version of the events, as described by the 9/11 Commission is true, then as engineers, we must immediately put an end to our activities, and proceed to bring down all the buildings in the world, as they are wholly unsafe. Furthermore, that is also an indictment on the education we received in applied physics.

My education, technical knowledge doesn't agree that a high-rise like WTC can free-fall as in a demolition, when only the top was hit by a plane. As an Engineer, I've never compromised quality, stability at work. Any product or program I've designed so far is the best in class. Same way, I believe that the WTC engineers/builders are the best, and they would never build something as weak as shown on TV !! Definitely the conspiracy to bring down the WTC itself shows the way it was demolished. Otherwise, the building would take a very long time to fall due to fire. And when that would happen its definitely from the side where fire impact is huge and the collapse will be beyond its own footprint and probably into adjacent buildings.

The probability of three steel framed buildings, without exactly identical damage or construction, completely collapsing at near the acceleration of gravity on the same day is, by itself, far beyond statistical expectation. From a scientific and engineering point-of-view, the cause for these collapses cries out for a thorough and objective investigation.

The events of 9/11 are extraordinary and represent a serious miscalculation of unprecedented proportions on the part of its perpetrators. Because, any engineer or architect, or anyone else with a degree in science, must accept that in the case of 9/11 very basic questions have been left unanswered in a way that cannot be easily excused. The mere fact that the NIST report fails to explain the collapse is sufficient evidence that the incident has not been duly investigated let alone conclusively explained. And so much evidence is available capable of being communicated uncensored through the internet. However, and as I have witnessed so often in my career, even the most accomplished professionals when faced with the daunting prospect of realizing that they have been duped systematically, prefer to opt for willful ignorance rather than accept the burden of understanding uncomfortable truths. In the case of the demolition of buildings it would seem hardly possible for anyone with any technical training to bury their heads in the sand ignoring: freefall speed, pulverization of concrete, severing of beams, twisting of beams, complete stand down of the military defense, chemical signatures of specialized incendiaries, molten metal, etc., etc.. None of these have been explained in a rigorous scientific manner by the official story. It has remained obvious to me since that fateful day that more questions arose than answers about the many inconsistencies in the destruction of the Towers as well as damage to the Pentagon. The more I learn, the more I question the intent of our government and their denial of the obvious from eyewitness accounts, audio footage and video footage. Buildings cannot fall perfectly down without assistance from external and internal causes such as explosive charges. The smoking gun of WTC7 just raises the doubt level even higher when you see the minimal damage it sustained that day. When I looked for myself, I found errors and unbelievable explanations everywhere I looked, from NORAD's timeline, no air support over Washington long after an obvious attack. Disappearing or non existent plane parts, cell phone calls that couldn't have been made as claimed, the very small initial hole in the Pentagon made by flight 77 (supposedly), and the spectacular flying feat just above the grass at 500 MPH..from a pilot who couldn't fly, confiscated videos from the Pentagon and that joke of a video they released and on and on. The whole thing is complete BS from front to back.
WTC7 is the most obvious example of controlled demolition and it's failure to fall as the BBC reported well ahead of time that it did, also proves purposeful demolition. No way the core columns in WTC'S 1&2 could have simply melted away either. I believe the Bush administration, at the very least, assisted in permitting this tragedy to take place. I've studied this fiasco for 10 years plus, and all of it stinks badly, no matter how you slice it. We need a REAL investigation....not the edited version provided by Philip Zelikow.

I live in central IL where I go to school and work for a local university. I have never been a conspiracy theorist but the evidence presented here and by other documentaries and information, points to a conclusion so far outside that presented to us that I cannot ignore it. I have no misconceptions about our government and what it is willing to do to keep the people in the dark.
I didn't even know there was a WTC 7 building until I saw Zeitgeist and again when I saw this documentary on YouTube. I was caught off-guard by this information when I first heard it. It changed my whole perception of our government, what it's willing to do to enter a war, and how far it will go to cover it up. While I commend your desire to seek an independent investigation of the events of 9/11, I do not believe it will ever happen. Those in power know the truth and know the implications should it ever be confirmed publicly. However, I will do my part to make sure as many people as possible see this documentary and hopefully, one day, something will happen.
