On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

For his theory of gravitational progressive collapse, Bazant uses a value of free fall acceleration, which allows him to overestimate the kinetic energy available for the first ....missing jolt.... He plays down then the energy dissipated in plastic deformation of the poles using a model that buckling does not match the behavior of short columns and the AISC prescriptions, which recommended that the critical stresses of decline, be close to the poles compression resistance. This requirement does not allow poles to bend under a load of axial compression. Bazant's calculations are wrong. For the failure of the North Tower poles, it was necessary that all the poles reach 750 ' C. NIST simulations can be concluded that the steel did not reach these temperatures with office fires ...

I stopped watching TV on 9/11 and have since become an Internet researcher interested in truth movements and new/alternative sciences.
In my opinion the buildings were unmistakably brought down by controlled demolitions. I believe the pentagon was hit by a drone painted like a passenger plane. I believe another drone crashed where flight 93 supposedly crashed, as the crater lines to the left and right of the impact crater where there prior to the crash, which means the wings of flight 93 would have had to vanish into this air without ever hitting the ground. I would like to see an official but independent investigation into the events on 9/11 and the following still continuing cover-up.

A true eureka moment. I have too many questions to list them all but here's a taster: 1) What caused the molten steel under WTC 1,2 & 7? Why do NIST deny that there was molten steel under these buildings? 2) Why did WTC 1,2 & 7 collapses display all the characteristics of controlled demolitions if they were not? 3) Why was over 99% of the steel from the WTC buildings sent to Asia to be melted down before a thorough forensic investigation could take place? 4) Why did so many witnesses hear & see explosions if there were no explosives in the buildings? 5) How did NIST get away with such obvious pathological science in their report on the collapse of the twin Towers - i.e. ignoring thermal expansion when analysing a possible fire-induced failure? The list goes on and on and on...

Besides the hundreds of items of evidence converging inescapably on controlled demolition of all three collapsed WTC towers, the most obvious and indisputable items are 1. the total free fall and near free fall speed of descent of the three buildings - a physical impossibility even under the official NIST scenario, 2. the kinetic force pulverizing all of the concrete in the buildings and ejecting steel girders hundreds of feet UPWARD AND LATERALLY SO AS TO IMPALE ADJACENT BUILDINGS is totally inconsistent with gravitational collapse, but indicative of controlled demolition, and 3. the mass of evidence indicating the acoustic (explosions), kinetic, and thermal action of explosives by numerous recorded eyewitness testimonies at the scene on 9/11, coupled with at least three major independent studies disclosing residues of both unexploded and exploded thermite of an advanced particularly explosive formula available only to the government (military) apparently, in the dust covering the entire city of New York, besides the obvious raging thermite fires of thousands of degrees seen pouring molten iron from the sides of the WTC towers before collapse, and for many weeks following the collapse - totally inconsistent with the official NIST report, now repudiated by its Chief Counsel, John Farmer in his published book.

The buildings dropped at free fall velocity. That is physically impossible unless the lower floors are knocked out before the upper floors of the dropping structure encounter them. The burning fuel could weaken the lower floors, but not cause their resistance to the falling structure to drop to zero. In the case of Building 7 there was no fuel to burn and fires in that building could not have burned in a pattern symetrical enough to allow the building drop in its own footprint, aside from the fact that the fires could not have been hot enough to bring the steel structure down.

I have an AS Degree in Architectural Technology from an Illinois State Public college, and a BS in Computer Information Systems from University of Redlands, California. I worked as a Mechanical Designer for about 15 years designing small mechanisms (locks, cash register drawers, etc. and the tooling to produce them and then as a Systems Engineer for a manufacturing facility in Mexicali, Mexico (10 years), and finished my career as a Programmer Analyst/System Administrator for a multi-national corporation which made electrical components like switches, servo motors, gearing etc.(6 years). I was laid off in Jan. 2011 after completing 31 years of professional employment. I am retired now.
I have always had an interest in architecture and watched with interest the documentary put out by the group 'Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth' as I could never understand why Building 7 collapsed and additionally why all 3 buildings at the WTC collapsed straight down, similar to buildings that were purposely demolished with explosives. I also am wondering why there was no airplane debris at the Pentagon and the Penn. site where the last airliner went down. Having viewed the documentary I have come to view the government reports as suspect, and even lost some respect for our government itself. The only way to restore faith and trust is to have a truly independent investigation and find the absolute truth of the 9/11 events. This is important because so many secondary events have taken place because of the original 9/11 conclusions. Examples: We have given up some of our rights and fought extended wars because of the 9/11 conclusions. If these serious questions of concerned citizens and technical experts, and the serious resulting actions taken by the US government are not worthy of a second look at the 9/11 event then I cannot imagine whose running the government! Certainly nobody I would vote for. And last but not least, the final sad effect of the 9/11 events are the opportunities of the many lives lost, military or not, and money spent on the fight against the 'terrorists' who planned this attack, creating a deficit that threatens to overwhelm our country. I believe in order to expend the capital and human toll that we have spent these years since the 9/11 event, we should not now have ANY questions or doubts, by ANY group, technical or not.

I received a B.S. in Finance from Virginia Tech, assuming I would make a lot of money working with mergers and acquisitions or work on the stock market in NY. But shortly after I graduated, while only being able to get interviews to be an insurance salesman, I used my technical background that I learned on the job in the Defense Logistics Agency during my internships in college to switch my career to software development. Comparing videos of actual controlled demolitions with the collapse of the World Trade Center Towers, I see a shocking similarity. All 3 of the buildings fell the exact same way as a controlled demolition. What are the chances of ONE building falling in this manner, much less THREE on the same day?

Years after graduating I invested hundreds of hours into investigating the 9/11 Commission inconsistencies, discovering quickly that it had vast amounts of incomplete explanations.
The buildings acted as if the lower sections of their structure did not exist at all as they fell identically to each other. The collapses seem obviously aided by explosives and cutting charges. First hand accounts of explosions on the lower floors along with the explosions on the sides of the towers visible on footage of the event prove that likelihood.
