PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I fully support the goals of AE for 9/11 Truth. I believe my outrage and shock at being asked to believe the net of lies surrounding this event, matches the feelings of the founding members of AE 9/11 Truth. As I watched the towers fall on television I knew the rapid destruction on display made no scientific sense. The so-called evidence, media claims and subsequent official proclamations all reeked of a hideous betrayal by our leaders. It was a betrayal by violent forces indifferent to the well-being of humanity in general and the American citizenry in particular. Just who these violent forces are is the next question (assuming we can handle the answer). Getting the science sorted out is fundamental to understanding what happened. I support that. Though the tentacles of this subject run in every direction, this betrayal of our national confidence and honor as citizens must not be allowed to stand.

Received MSc degree in Mechanical Engineering from Technical University of Istanbul. Received PhD degree from Brown University in metallurgy. After a short stint in academia, I worked for the Turkish Technical and Scientific Research Institute. I did research on explosively forming welded truncated-cone steel preforms into hemispheres. Materials subjected to very high strain rates behave similarly to highly plastic materials and can change form (deform) without developing external stress cracks. There is a photo that was taken of some 9/11-damaged steel structures where a very big cross section heavy beam has been bent into almost a 180 degree U-shape without developing any cracks on the tension side of the bend. This could not happen under the weight of the building forcing the lower sections to break up into pieces. It proves that a chemical or physical high energy source was in operation at the time the buildings were destroyed (not collapsed.) No amount of static force big enough to bend the heavy beam into a 'U' can produce this effect without creating multitudinous cracks on the tension side. This can only be done by a 'high energy rate forming' mechanism and by either a chemical or physical energy source with a large enough capacity. - - More recently, I was involved in design and production of castings and forgings in industry, and production plant management until retirement.
I am convinced beyond any shadow of doubt that:1- NORAD could not have been rendered helpless by anyone or any organization but persons in or close to the U.S. government. 2- The two towers could not have come down in near-free fall speed if explosives were not scientifically planted and distributed throughout the structures and sequentially exploded through computer control. Explosions occurred ahead of the advancing debris so that the near-free fall speed can be achieved.3- The 9/11 wars and war on terror were pre-planned and executed according to these plans. The WTC skyscrapers were obviously destroyed by a high energy producing material such as nanothermite, which was somehow placed in the buildings. There is no mechanism known to humans, other than explosives, that can destroy buildings of that size at free fall speeds while converting all the concrete and other office materials into a thick cloud of dust. It is futile to argue whether x number of columns were cut by the planes or Y amount. Even if the upper portions of both buildings were totally severed from the bottom portions and the top was allowed to fall onto the bottom, and even if all the bolts/pins holding the metal skeleton of the bottom portion together were in an un-tightened condition, the destruction of the bottom portion of the buildings by the effect of the top portion could never have been accomplished within the time necessary for a free fall. The fact that the buildings were destroyed at free fall speeds is the greatest evidence that the buildings were purposely destroyed by well placed explosives. No passenger plane hit the pentagon.

I have been researching the events of 2001 since I was first shown evidence of a possible conspiracy with the 'plane' that hit the Pentagon. This was in 2005. After seeing the discrepancies in the footage that was provided from the security camera at the Pentagon, I became suspicious of 9/11 in its entirety. I've come across startling information, some that is a stretch, but other evidence like that of WTC 7 has indicated to me something more than 19 terrorists with box cutters, being directed by a bearded man in a cave in Afghanistan, were behind the attacks. I want the truth. I know there is more than we are being told 'officially'.
In my opinion, after review of all the evidence I have examined from the crime committed on 9/11/2001, I know there is more than we have been told. America has been changed forever, and for the worse. The buildings and lives were taken to open the path to two wars, the collapse of our economy, and the loss of our civil liberties. Anyone that passed basic physics can readily see from the film of WTC 7's collapse that there was a planned and controlled demolition. I have doubts concerning the official story on how the three World Trade Center buildings were destroyed. I know very little about structural engineering but, in the case of WTC 1 and 2, I believe that a partial collapse at the points of impact may be feasible. For both Towers to collapse all the way down to ground level without the use of explosives or incendiary devices is difficult for me to believe. I believe that for WTC 7 to collapse the way it did because of a few fires is impossible.

I've been a truth-seeking citizen for quite some time. On Sept. 11, 2001 I was living in Houston, TX. Already at that time I had grown sick of the overwhelming amount of propaganda being played on the radio and television in Texas. However, I didn't know how sick of the whole event I would become. It was about a year or two later while I was attending my first semester of school in Utah that I had heard of a BYU physics professor that was forced to resign due to his statements about the nano-thermite found at ground-zero. This was professor Stephen Jones, if I remember correctly. This prompted me to look into the evidence for myself. To make it brief... it was a trip down the rabbit hole--no doubt about it. Since then I've learned that almost never is the official account of any event of this nature exactly true; if not downright false. I'm eager for the day that all this information--and a multitude of historical realities--are presented officially and accepted publicly.
The official story of 9/11 from the so-called 9/11 Commission is total rubbish. I would like a legitimate public hearing and presentation of the true facts--nothing being withheld for this hearing. I would like to see that those involved are indicted for their involvement and punished accordingly. I would like to see a reversal of the executive orders and bills that have been passed in the name of 9/11, previous terrorist events, and prevention of further bills being passed for subsequent events. I'd like to see our rights and values restored as a nation.

I, like many Americans, watched live as the Towers came down. At first I wondered about the way they fell, thinking it looked a lot like a controlled demolition. After the shock wore off, which took about a year, I went back and began watching the tapes. The WTC and then the Pentagon. The Pentagon is what really got me. There was clearly no plane anywhere near the place. After the investigation by NIST I started wondering how so many questions and witness testimony was allowed to just fall be the way side. Why the President and Vice were allowed to be interviewed in secret. The thing became a disgrace.

I'm not an expert in construction, architecture or engineering but the evidence provided by the experts in the Experts Speak Out is clear and concise. In the same way I take the advice of medical doctors for diagnosing a sickness, perhaps getting a second opinion, the consensus of over 2200 experts who agree that Building 7 was taken down in a controlled demolition is an inconvenient fact that we will all need to accept. Then we can move to the next step of identifying who is responsible so the victims can have justice. I visited the World Trade Center site in early December 2001 and was surprised to see smoke still coming up from underground fires, the documentary provides the first explanation for these fires that makes any sense.

As an electrical engineer a fair portion of my education contained general physics. A very basic law of physics is the law of conservation of energy. According to this law the potential (gravitational) energy stored in the WTC buildings is the only source of energy available and has to account for (among others) the collapse of the buildings at free fall speed *and* the shattering of all structural steel *and* the grinding of tonnes of concrete into dust *and* the pyroclastic clouds that distributed the dust over half of Manhattan. This is simply impossible. It is obvious that another source of energy has to be involved, be it explosives or thermite, and that the official explanation is very implausible. And this is just a small portion of available evidence. A new unbiased and independent investigation is therefore absolutely necessary.

There is too much evidence backing the theories around 9/11 to the point that they are becoming a very real conspiracy for many of us. The cooperation with NIST and other government officials have been very minimal and I suspect that if anyone has something to hide it is most likely because they know they have done something wrong. I would like to see the truth about the conspiracies surrounding 9/11 to come to light, whether proven or disproven, so that the families and everyone affected by this event can finally rest.

I think it's obvious from the videos alone that there were explosions BELOW the actual point of 'collapse'. You can see the windows blowing out below the dust plume as the towers came down in identical fashion. The video evidence for Building 7 is so glaring that it insults an open minded persons intelligence to say it collapses on its own with no help.

I've been interested in the outcome of an independant investigation for some time now. I do not think its fair to the American people, and we are demanding transparency in this matter. Aproximately 100 million dollars of our tax money was spent on the Clinton-Lewinsky investigation, which was not as important as 9/11, why not give this issue and the people the respect we merit?
